ABOUT THE STUDY
Like a tattoo, the fundamental truths of the faith are supposed to be permanently etched into us. However, a lifetime of learning, loving, and living the scriptures requires that at some point, we really begin to understand where they come from and what they mean.
The Absolute Basics of the Christian Faith is a visual introduction to the core beliefs of the Christian faith. While it assumes no background knowledge of the scriptures or church teachings, this eight-week study is stocked with rich explanation and engaging videos that bring catechesis to life for people of all ages, backgrounds, and stops along their spiritual journey. Like all books, it is possible to read this one alone, but it is designed specifically to be studied in community-to lead small and large groups through the big ideas of the faith. The memory verses, catechism, text, and videos in each lesson work together seamlessly to provide a clear, compelling introduction to Christian belief.
In working through this study, you’ll be binding the truth about God on your head, hands, and house through scripture memorization and by learning the answers to important questions about God. it bothers me that he still hasn’t come back. i hear everyone saying “He’s coming back soon” over and over and over again. i believe them but its getting annoying hearing people say “He’s coming back soon” i’m ready to hear “There He is”
My friend, the things which God has prophesied in the books of Matthew, Daniel and Revelations must happen first before he comes to gather his people. The trials and tribulations which are to come from the enemy are only a test to see if we are worthy of the kingdom of God which he has prepared for us. Wars and rumors of wars, The great whore of Revelations (The anti Christ) rising to power, the mark of the beast, God sealing his people, the 7 last plagues, and finally the statue of Babylon (the 4 kingdoms of the earth) falling and crumbling down. All of these things must happen before God comes to save his people. So my friend, be not bothered that he has not come yet, but be joyous for he is near. We are already in the last and evil days of this earth, and soon the mark of the beast will be enforced around the world, but it's up to you and me to choose God, and take up his seal so that we may be able to inherit the kingdom of heaven, and I look forward to seeing you with my Lord and saviour in heaven one day.
@@yxngandy2245 do not talk about the seven plagues as it is good god is the most forgiving being he will never try to hurt so many of his creations who still have a chance to repay their sins we will all go to heaven and comeback to earth god will never do the seven plagues because they are not needed unless we turn to the devil then the seven plagues must be done.but for now it will never happen god will never forsake us with such catastrophe and choose some people to come to the kingdom of heaven he wants all to come to his kingdom and all to rejoice in happiness together.I wish you all luck and also see you one day but not in heaven but on earth where humans belong and if you choose to be in heaven so be it.
@@activegaming4947 2 Timothy 3:16 ALL scripture is inspired by GOD, for reproof, and correction. Remember not everyone on this earth will be saved. Revelation 9:6 says men shall be seeking death, but will not find it, and this passage is referring to those who receive the 7 last plagues and will try to find ways to kill themselves, to relieve them from the pain and suffering that they feel from the 7 last plagues. The bible also teaches that on the last day, those who are dead in CHRIST will rise first, and those who are alive and remain will ascend up to meet GOD as well. However those who are alive in sin will fall dead from the brightness of his glory (2 Thessalonians 2:8), and those who are dead in sin stay dead,and await the eternal lake of fire, after they attend the supper of the great GOD, which consist of the birds eating their flesh until it's time for the earth to be renewed after the thousand years in heaven (Revelation 19:17).However those who are in CHRIST will attend the marriage supper of the lamb, which is us being with JESUS for 1,000 years until the earth gets renewed and we can thrive with CHRIST on the earth again (Revelation 19:9). So my friend we can't say everyone will be saved and GOD will have already forgiven everyone,for the bible also says that probation will have already been closed, because once you receive the seal of GOD or the mark of the beast, you have already chosen your side and it will be to late to turn back my friend. Plus if you want to be forgiven for choosing the mark, you can't, because there is no one in heaven to answer your prayer, due to the fact that it will take JESUS about 7 days just to get to earth with his angels to collect his people who are dead and alive in CHRIST. Matthew 22:14 Many are called but few are chosen, not everyone will make it to the kingdom of heaven, but that's ok so long as YOU hear the word of GOD and choose to accept it my friend.

Great presentation, but this is about the life after the afterlife, but the interim between physical death and resurrection, or the afterlife.
It’s funny that the typical christian idea of the afterlife is just as plausible as your heart being weighed against a feather, and if it’s heavier then it gets eaten by crocodile-lion-hippopotamus hybrid Ammit, which destroys your soul
Great! The Resurrection is rarely talked about in Biblical Theology. New Earth, New Heaven, merged together with our new bodies. -- Not spirits singing hymns in heaven.

Dead people are dead. Jesus was dead. Spirit returns to Spirt, flesh to dirt, while death holds the soul, who knows nothing, in hades. A new eon begins at resurrection of dead. Amen!

Amazing that people deny Jesus, despite the historicity of Jesus' miracle life accounts and the fact people were willing to die for him. What's also amazing is how people think that nothing can create something.
