Can probably also use envelope with slow attack on the slices you want to duck. This is exactly what a side chain compressor would do. I like your method too. Personally I never use a sidechain compressor and always opt for manual gain automation where I can for ultimate control. Nice vid!
Yes I actually went into that in the first take of the video but I wanted to keep it simple so I edited it out. I might make a more detailed video using the filters in that way.
Welcome Back!! Great video, I have always thought of having a machine like that to co-exist with my MPC-X and Moog. Almost finished with my mixes!! and I agree, Plug-ins are a quick cheat code...it is like Poof! there it is...
Haha I love them both for different reasons dude. I still prefer chopping loops in the MPC One and it’s not even possible to compare them in terms of functions. The One has everything. But sometimes I love simplicity when writing and the 2400 has that simplicity. I have them linked together and together they’re a powerhouse.
Thank you for this amazing video!! 👏👏👏
You’re welcome mate
Nice. Was looking into getting the S2400.
Yes mate. It's a bit of a learning curve, but well worth it.
Thanks for the video. On my list of gear to get thanks to your video.
It's definitely worth it. I love it.
Quality Conan 👌
Thanks for watching dude
Clever. Would love to have a go on that machine
You’d love it D.
Good to see you back in the saddle. Excellent tip.
Thanks dude. It's good to be back.
You're a genius amigo. SO simple yet overlooked.
The simple ideas are normally the most overlooked lol
Great tip, thanks!
You’re welcome mate. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
This is what it's about. Thinking out of the box.
Yeh man, thanks for watching

Hell ya that sounds killer! it makes total sense. In fact it sounds better than a compression side chain.
That’s actually what I thought as well.

The S2400 works perfectly alongside an MPC. I have it synced to my One. With an X it would be epic.
Thanks for the new video. Looking forward to more!😂 ✌️
Thanks for watching dude
Thanks for this,
I need tips on this machine to challenge the life i'm working on.
You're welcome dude, more videos to come.
Sharing with my s2400 buddy... Thanks 👍 hm²
Thanks for watching and sharing dude
Sooo . MPC one vs S2400 . Which sound do you prefer ? Which workflow ?
