Deban, William, I love Croatia too. I like having special, original and unique songs in Eurovision. The Croatian song is so honest and has a very positive message, and this song is a masterpiece, it's real art.
too bad that this art doesn't appeal to most of the Eurovision fans

But that last one could be very close. Romania, Switzerland and Belarus could be in there as well, instead of for example Serbia, Estonia or The Netherlands. I really believe it will be incredibly close in this semi-final.

This is a way harder semi to predict then the first, but I will give it a go, starting with the 100 % sure to qualify:
1. Bulgaria
2. Denmark (Her vocals alone are just gonna slay the house down)
3. Hungary
4. Belarus (They are really good live and they exude positive energy that the televoters will go crazy for)
Borderline:
5. Romania (If the live works this will be a contender for the televote win, not the jury however)
6. Croatia (Personally I dont like it, but clearly a lot of people do)
7. Estonia (ESC-friendly/Fan favorite, it will go through, but you never know, some fan favorites have crashed and burned)
8. Serbia (They have a good record and I dont see this fail really)
9. Israel (There are not that many completely contemporary dance songs in this semi, so I think Israel will stand out)
10. Ireland (this is not my cup of tea, but I feel that his vocals and song is instant and differs from Bulgaria to squeeze through)
11. Netherlands (They sing amazing, but their song is absolute shite, I wonder if the jury will see through that)
12. FYR Macedonia (Flop of the season.)
13. Norway
14. Austria (This song is too boring and uninteresting to qualify and I think Belarus is the more genuine of the two)

I really like Croatian ''My friend''. Yes, he divides the public, but the jury could push him through. It's original and it stands out. He is a powerfull performer and owns the stage.
Also, even though I like Serbian and Macedonian songs, I am afraid that they will be rivals. I am not sure that the jury will put through two songs from the same autors at the same night...I hope that it is just me thinking of to much..

This semi in my opinion is much harder to predict. I can see favorites like Macedonia and Estonia flopping and being replaced with countries like Norway and Israel. I could also see Switzerland and Denmark missing out as well. Like wiwibloggs said, there are A LOT of border qualifiers and I have absolutely no idea what's going to happen lol
almost all of your 'certains' are quite weak entries in my opinion..i think some of the strongest this semi are denmark,switzerland,israel and macedonia. we'll see
EMILIA They make their prediction based on their live performances. Macedonia was my favorite, after seeing the live performance, I'm not sure if they're going to qualify. In short: a good song means nothing if they can't sing live.

Bulgaria: It will qualify, because Kristian will grab our hearts and the jury's hearts with his amazing voice and beautiful song
Israel: Remembers me Golden Boy, he has not a bad voice, he is also good looking, he has a good draw the song is very catchy it is special, and there are national instruments so it will make it
Netherlands: My personal favourite song. It is emotional, the girls have the look, the voices, the harmonies, also the song is very catchy, very touching and for be sure televote will like girlbands (even if Moje 3 from 2013 didn't qualified)
Denmark: Excellent voice, amazing song, good look so yeah it is also can make it, Anja is also a big favourite.
More possible to qualify but not defenetly:
Austria: It remembers me Malta from 2013 witch reached the top 10. It is calm, it is happy, Nathan has strong vocals live, and he will make whole Europe singing with him and makes everyone smiling.
Hungary: My country. I am sure we will make it, because the live performance is awesome, the song is very unique, and catchy.
Also possible but I am not sure:
Estonia: The song is catchy, the lyrics are great, but the live performance was not that good, so they'll need more than this
Serbia: Very radio friendly song, Serbia has a lot of friends of voting, but the 1st draw can make them out of final. Also depends on the live performance.
Maybe qualify:
Switzerland: I am not sure about Timebelle's Apollo, because this country is Switzerland, usually came last ,or don't qualify. And remember last year about Greta Salome was a shock, so it can happen.
FYR Macedonia: Jana's voice isn't that good live, but the studio version is very modern, very catchy and makes you wanna dance. But the 3rd draw and the performance can make Macedonia out of final this year.
Norway: I am not sure they will qualify, but a lot of people likes this kind of "party music". Also Alexander is not a bad singer so they have chances.
Belarus: Very happy, very cute, very charming, it puts me in a better mode, like Nathan's song but I can feel it won't make it. But It has chances of qualify of course.
More not qualify:
Romania: Some people might disagree but I can't see why they would make it. Okay it is kinda special, but I am not sure Romania will qualify. Rap not always works and Yodel was in 2005 Austria, didn't made it, but we'll see.
Ireland: Okay his voice is very unique, but the song is kinda boring. I am sure if Ireland couldn't made the final in 2014 and 2015 they can't do it this year.
San Marino: It has some chances of qualifying, because maybe people will love to see Valentina again, but it is San Marino...
Won't qualify:
Croatia: See, this song is very not a big favourite, and I don't think Jacques will make the finals. The two voice thing won't work and yeah it won't qualify
Malta: An amazing singer with a dull ballad won't qualify and doesn't deserve it. Maybe jury's will give her an 8th place, but I have a feeling Malta will be one of the lasts in televote.
Lithuania: Noone likes this (I like it), but remember Vilija from 2014 they almost did the final, so it can happen this year. But no really this song won't qualify, even if Lithuania usually make the finals.

Ofc i remember ;) People may not like the song, but they forget these girls are vocally insane. Their live performances are always wow-ing me, and not only me (!!). Its not that easy to sing like that actually. Im 100% sure they will lift this song to a higher level. Cant wait for their first rehearsal next week. They will surprise people. Top 10 in the final? Yes, here we come!
Yep, I also believe in a Top 10 position in the Finals!! The 3 gorgeous sisters deliver pretty well as they have done so over the last years. I hope this will be the next step in their musical career. Nlds'never have many neighbour or block votings and I do believe they will do it just on their talent and excellent presentation!! There's a few songs that seem extremely divisive. People either love Croatia or hate it. People either abhor Lithuania or like it. The hatred for either song is very upsetting; it's just so unnecessarily.
Romania and Belarus are honestly the only guaranteed qualifier from this semi-final for me. I agree with William on FYR Macedonia. As the best pop song of the year it should go through on the song alone, but I'm afraid for it because my favourite songs do often tank.

i agree with Deban's opinion. I think Ireland is gonna surprise and is gonna be a dark horse in the final. His voice is really amazing

I feel like Belarus and Bulgaria are the only certain qualifiers and San Marino is the only certain non-qualifier. I initially had Romania as a certain qualifier but after seeing that sheep staging, I'm not so sure. Serbia is highly likely to go through because they have so many countries who vote for them in this semi but I wonder if the song not being very Serbian will hurt them. I have a strong feeling that Netherlands will go through. The last minute of the song is amazing.

I dont know. I think there will be a shocking surprise. Some of The Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Macedonia and Estonia will not make the final. And many people like these(those?) songs.
