ജഗതി പറഞ്ഞത് കുറച്ച് കൂടി പോയി എന്നാ അഭിപ്രായം ഉള്ള ആളാണ് ഞാനും. വേണമെങ്കിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് രഞ്ജിനിയെ മാറ്റി നിർത്തി പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കാം ആയിരിന്നു. എല്ലാവരുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ നാണം കെടുത്തേണ്ട കാര്യം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. ഒരു കലാകാരൻ എന്ന നിലയിൽ ആണ് അദ്ദേഹം അവിടെ പ്രതികരിച്ചത് . ഒരു കലാകാരനെ വിമർശിക്കാം അനുകൂലിക്കാം അത് കാഴ്ചക്കാരുടെ അവകാശം ആണ് . വിധികർത്താവ് ആയി അവർക്കു മാർക്ക് ഇടാൻ യോഗ്യത ഉള്ളവർക്കേ അധികാരം ഉള്ളു എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞത്. സ്കൂളിൽ മാർക്ക് ഇടുന്നത് അധ്യാപകർ ആണ് അല്ലാതെ അടിച്ചു വാരാൻ വരുന്ന ചേച്ചി മാർക്ക് ഷീറ്റ് നോക്കണ്ട കാര്യം ഇല്ല എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞതിന്റെ സാരംശം

ആ പ്രോഗ്രാം കണ്ടവർക്ക് അറിയാം.. സോമദാസ് technically അത്ര വലിയ പാട്ടുകാരൻ ആയിരുന്നില്ല.. സഹതാപത്തിന്റെ പുറത്ത് കിട്ടിയ SMS കൊണ്ട് തന്നെയാണ് സോമദാസ് അവിടെ വരെ എത്തിയത്.

I Remember when this happened. Everyone was so happy that the Actor Jagathy insulted Ranjini . I just couldn’t believe how ppl just couldn’t see how wrong the actor was on stage ! The whole social media and everyone around me was praising the actor for what he said on stage . I was no fan of Ranjini nor did I hate her . In fact I admired her courage to be herself in-spite of what others said about her . My respect for the Actor was gone from that day . Right now when I see the comment box I fell so happy that ppl have changed .
Shall i ask you one thing ? This ranjini used to insult, scold and judge the contestants publicly in the live show. Imagine how these contestants might have felt back then ? And it is by seeing this Mr. Jagathy became so angry & concerned about this trend. (Not just jagathy, anybody who watched the show felt the same). In the end Mr. Jagathy gave it back to her. He taught her how it is to be insulted publicly & how it feels!! And yes indeed she learnt a lesson that day. Being an artist myself i felt really motivated by his words that day. (Not because he taught anchors what their job is) but because of his view on failing.

I didn’t think any contestants had any hard feelings about it as they were all in good terms offstage . It’s was just the viewers who didn’t know her had a problem with her . Her way of talking, she dressing , her attitude to not change her style of anchoring just to make ppl like her which led to lot of ppl not liking her . As for the Actor Jagathy , do you really think he changed her ? We all have our own likes and dislikes , and have every right to voice it . Being an older man he should have voiced his dislike in better ways . Here you complain about Ranjini insulting other contestants and yet you enjoy another person insulting her . If you condemn an act of insulting then you shouldn’t encourage anyone to do it . Ppl , especially men disliked her courage and her don’t care attitude. Her FB account at that time were filled with ppl insulting her and yet she didn’t give a hoot . If it was anyone else they would have deleted that account. She have changed all the negative comments and dislikes to positive likes . Well done for her .

From what I saw, I felt like ranjini was trying to support somadhas because he started to fall off a bit, she was just trying to motivate him, that's why she said the fans are the one saving him. Meaning he needs to get better for the sake of his fans.

To be honest, Ranjini was patronising in the first part. It was really cringe to watch her trespassing the boundary of a stage anchor, however she did not deserve a public admonishing from Jagathy. That was below the belt!

He didn't say anything wrong. He also mentioned it as He/She, and not just She. And yes, Ranjini is professional even though she got embarrassed. But yes, she doesn't have any reason to judge on something where she isn't good at. No one did that before her or after her.
Of course, Jayaram din like that speech. That's the reason he reacted with his left hand. If it was a super star, he will be appreciating the speech. Whatever, according to my attitude we must react against the odds.

Everyone blaming Jagathy, but lets not forget what Ranjini did wasn't right either. She is not there to judge, if you are an anchor stick to your job. Judges are professionals who know when and where to point out mistakes. Have you even heard Ranjini sing? Right. That being said Jagathy did go overboard too. Coming to a huge event like the grand finale, he shouldn't have insulted the anchor. She might've deserved it a little bit but maybe an event like grand finale wasn't the right place for that.

Go watch other reality shows and what anchors do, you'll understand what an anchors job is. If anchors can judge then why do you bring in professionals to judge? Just let anchor run the whole show

Its a scripted talk show, the guests usually know what to expect/respond and what kind of questions are coming for them...and nobody said ranjini isn't a good anchor. She is a good anchor but she went over the limit. She should've done her job instead of trying to do judges job. Since you still don't know what an anchor is, here you go: "Anchor/Presenters work at the front line of television and radio. They introduce, read the news, interview people and report on issues and events." If we take Ranjini's case her main role is only to introduce the contestants onto the stage when their turn comes. Ofc she can be entertaining, crack some jokes and do random commentary but making judgements on a person's performance isn't part of an anchors duties.

What Jagathy said was right. When she said those undeserving comments to the singer at the beginning of the video, was that right? Especially when she is not at all qualified as a singer to assess or judge anyone in a competition? Renjini stepped out of line and Jagathy removed his frustration, which was a common frustration for most people when they see the way Renjini does her anchoring. Renjini didn't say anything after Jagathy spoke was because firstly, she couldn't speak a word and secondly, everyone loves Jagathy more than her and her career would be over then and there if she spoke back. Thirdly, she knew she would never win in this argument, especially with Jagathy.
She was trying to help somadhas because he started to fall off. She said his fans are the ones keeping him there, so he needs to get better. It was just some straight forward rough motivation. I remember because I watched the show and most of it's seasons, and somadhas was flaking hard.
Ranjini didn't say a word because she put her professionalism before personal ego. The show has directors and producers to monitor the content of anchors, judges, and contestants. Jagathy's job was to announce the winners, not misuse the opportunity to publicly insult Ranjini. And that sanctimonious tone of his was so annoying; I mean we all know his true character, God knows who he was trying to impress..maybe the misogynistic idiots who take pleasure in a woman's humiliation? As for Somdas, he was useless and thrived on votes alone..Ranjini was, in all likelihood, required to say what she did as it would've been inappropriate for the judges yo say it.
Even after those speech ranjini still managed to anchor the show..admirable 🔥

I Remember when this happened. Everyone was so happy that the Actor Jagathy insulted Ranjini . I just couldn’t believe how ppl just couldn’t see how wrong the actor was on stage ! The whole social media and everyone around me was praising the actor for what he said on stage . I was no fan of Ranjini nor did I hate her . In fact I admired her courage to be herself in-spite of what others said about her . My respect for the Actor was gone from that day .
Right now when I see the comment box I fell so happy that ppl have changed .
Shall i ask you one thing ? This ranjini used to insult, scold and judge the contestants publicly in the live show. Imagine how these contestants might have felt back then ? And it is by seeing this Mr. Jagathy became so angry & concerned about this trend. (Not just jagathy, anybody who watched the show felt the same). In the end Mr. Jagathy gave it back to her. He taught her how it is to be insulted publicly & how it feels!! And yes indeed she learnt a lesson that day. Being an artist myself i felt really motivated by his words that day. (Not because he taught anchors what their job is) but because of his view on failing.

What Jagathy said was right. When she said those undeserving comments to the singer at the beginning of the video, was that right? Especially when she is not at all qualified as a singer to assess or judge anyone in a competition?
Renjini stepped out of line and Jagathy removed his frustration, which was a common frustration for most people when they see the way Renjini does her anchoring.
Renjini didn't say anything after Jagathy spoke was because firstly, she couldn't speak a word and secondly, everyone loves Jagathy more than her and her career would be over then and there if she spoke back.
Thirdly, she knew she would never win in this argument, especially with Jagathy.
She was trying to help somadhas because he started to fall off. She said his fans are the ones keeping him there, so he needs to get better. It was just some straight forward rough motivation. I remember because I watched the show and most of it's seasons, and somadhas was flaking hard.
Ranjini didn't say a word because she put her professionalism before personal ego. The show has directors and producers to monitor the content of anchors, judges, and contestants. Jagathy's job was to announce the winners, not misuse the opportunity to publicly insult Ranjini. And that sanctimonious tone of his was so annoying; I mean we all know his true character, God knows who he was trying to impress..maybe the misogynistic idiots who take pleasure in a woman's humiliation?
As for Somdas, he was useless and thrived on votes alone..Ranjini was, in all likelihood, required to say what she did as it would've been inappropriate for the judges yo say it.
