A note on the ohsnap, they have acknowledged that there is issues with the current model and it doesn't stay flat after a couple months. After sending out too many replacements they claimed that they can no longer afford to replace defective units, definitely stay away from it at least until they have a better version available.
In addition to those problems, I have had two oh snaps and both have had the metal snap cut through the rubber. The second oh snap, the rubber and metal oh snap snapped off completely
Or those large glass doors to the back porch seem like a viable option, that's what I kept thinking as I watched and listened to him stating he has no good options.
Bailey is so huggable! Also, I went out and bought the Scrubby for dogs and wow wow wow! I’m a believer! I have two Bernese crosses (read super hairy). The younger one was traumatized by a groomer and is terrified of hoses and will not have a bath no matter what. I used the scrubby mitts today and it not only cleaned her but soothed her! She actually let me brush her without trying to get away and has been so calm ever since! My older dog tolerates being bathed but he loved being washed with these towels! Plus it helped cool them down too (drought here in BC). So a big Thank you James! I also bought the Supoon and a few other things you’ve recommended and have been happy with everything! Thanks for doing these reviews!
I’ve had the oh snap for over 4 months and I love it! I have no problems with the magnet sticking to my fridge so it probably varies from fridge to fridge. It also worked well with my magnetic mount in my car for navigation and it works with my wireless charger!
The blue "spiked" pet mitt works wonders on our cat. We've only used it on cat, not clothing (there are better things for that), nor have we used on furniture. It looks sort of different that the one in video but i bought it because you liked it. If that blue massage ball works to relieve pain I'd stick it anywhere I could. Shower walls, doors, fridge, car hood, neighbor's mailbox, etc.
The best and cheapest way to get the fur off the furniture is using latex gloves. The hurricane furwizard works really good too. I have heard of the chom chom from amazon thats great on couches.
Bailey: “I don’t wanna hug, I wanna play!” Excellent co-hosting, as usual! I thought when you said the shampoo mitts smelled good, “will Bailey agree?” but she approved them!
@@gnumone I would be very hesitant to put body weight on to a shower door. They tend to be pretty strong, but everything fails at some point or another.
You are the best! I now watch your reviews before I buy a new weird product. Thank you! You mentioned another reviewer and I watched a few of his videos. He gets a 5 1/2, you and Bailey rate a 9 to 10 every single time!
You’re such a normal, cool guy. So easy to watch and I trust you! Don’t even know you but I trust you. Thank you for all the reviews and for being so cool.
Where I live walls and ceilings are mostly smooth. The texture u have on your walls is sometimes on the ceiling called knockdown. Never on walls tho. Weird how it is so different where you live.
lol -- I wish i could like this twice -- the phone snap thing started sliding down the fridge and I said "Oh no..." at the exact same time as you did -- too funny. I love your reviews and have appreciated the extra content during the quarantine -- thanks for keeping me entertained sir!!!
Over 50 years ago, working on the farm, we had gloves with two thumbs. You would wear out a normal glove in a day, making hay. With the two thumbs, on day two, just put the gloves on the other hand, and get double the use.
James, MASSIVE thanks for your reviews/videos. Self isolating, like so many, but OMG you make me giggle and smile!!! Bailey is a great co-star!! May I ask what kind of dog she is? I'm really interested in the dog-bath-wipey thing. Thank you for your humor, you've saved MANY people!!! 👍😄
Hey James, you just said you dont like phone cases, maybe review a few to see if you can find one you like? Pitaka phone case maybe? Ultra thin might be your style.
Stick it on the refrigerator or washer (during the spin cycle naturally). A damp terry cloth glove works on carpeted steps...or just a washcloth. Not wet...just damp. That's a nice phone case he has there. Magnets don't stick to stainless steel appliances very well. May not be steel may be aluminum over a steel base. That's why it sticks slightly. I have a vintage steel kitchen...I use magnetic hooks from Harbor Freight to hold my phone and iPad....$3.99 for 4 less 20% of course.
I have 2 of the fur gloves that have the blue raised bumps and they work EXCELLENT!!!! On pets that is. But not on the furniture. My cats love them also because they love to get brushed /petted. In fact, the blue fur brush glove works so well that I swear I could make a fur jacket with all the fur I get!
I curious if you will ever do reviews on fishing line or fishing rods. Theres so many claims out there about the strongest, the most durable, longest casting etc. Is that something you would review?
Anytime you bathe Bailey and are afraid of getting soap in her eyes. Just get a small dropper and some mineral oil put a couple drops in each eye. And yes the mineral oil is completely safe and harmless. The mineral oil will coat the eyes and the soap won’t irritate them at all. This is what we used at the Veterinarian hospital I used to work at and I still use with our own dogs every time we ever dip or bathe them.
I found success using the firfighter to loosen the hair on furniture, and then using a sweeper with beater bars after ward worked well. In thins case I used a shark sweeper.
It's just that area of the country. I've never seen it in a house built past 1950 on the east coast, that wasn't fancy European style on a single wall or room (and by that I mean like a plaster finish, but it's expensive and usually a design feature). On ceilings, yes, mostly in older apartment buildings, but not on walls. It's a ascetic (or budget choice). Bottom line, So it's not common in the US at all except in specific areas -Texas, Arizona, etc.
Bailey is so sweet, the great lizard huntress!! I wouldn't be able put that veriball anywhere, even my fridge has a texture on it. I thought maybe the shower but the tiles are kind of small so it probably wouldn't stick there either. Great idea tho for someone who lives alone
For de-shedding brushes, I will forever stand by the Furminator! My dog's fur is about an inch to 2 inches long, depending on where it comes from and like most dogs the longest is the top of the back, around her neck, and her tail. I would not call her long-haired, but maybe a medium-short length and flat coated and she sheds TERRIBLY, year round, if not frequently brushed. I used to work for a company where I rep-ed a lot of animal products and the Furminator was one of them. I thought the price was a bit much but I got the large sized for short coats, normally $55-$70 for $27 during an online sale at Petsmart a few years back and they price-matched it in store without issue. She's about 80lbs and I can fully Furminate her in about 10 mins if maintained or 20 if it's been a little longer. Before the plastic bag ban, I could literally fill a standard-sized grocery bag with the fur from grooming her! And it doesn't cut or pull anything out- just grabs the loose hair! And there's a lever/button/whatever you wanna call it that pushes the hair out between strokes so it doesn't get clogged up. My other dog's fur is so short he doesn't shed so he can just get a simple soft brushing and he's rearing to go again!
I have the Oh Snap and it works great. As far as the magnetic, I use it on the magnetic mount in my car and it sticks perfect. I really like it alot. My first did have an issue, but they replaced and I have had zero issues with the new one.
I’m intrigued by the ball massager. I have arthritis at the top of my spine, yard work stresses my neck like crazy, so I’m wondering if just leaning against it might rejuvenate me to keep going at jobs where I have to slightly keep my neck bent. Thanks! I would never have thought to try it w/o your demonstration. I’ll put it in the garage.💕💗

if you had enough room, would the shower worked better than the fridge ? just curious for the ball Thanks!
lol I was screaming the same thing to the video: GO THE BATHROOM!!!
I was thinking of a door. Interior doors generally aren't textured.
He said in another comment that it was to big for his tiles.

I'm going to be honest. As much as I like James, I clicked on this because he had a picture of Bailey in the thumbnail.

Yep! Latex gloves work better for pet hair on anything, than that glove thing in the video. I don't know why they work, but they do (it's like magic).

Those gloves were designed for the aliens out of "Childhood's End" by Arthur C Clarke. Those aliens had two thumbs on each hand.

I gotta get me some novelty Roger Stone glasses...
on a serious note, I do enjoy your videos =)
You should be able to put that in the shower, or even on a regular door, it's usually less textured than a regular wall.
The suction cup was a little too large for the size of the tiles in my shower.
those would have been my alternatives as well..
@@Freakinreviews what about the shower glass ? most times at last one side is untextured.

Ah yes, the Vertiball. Based on another, similar technology that reaches... uh... deeper.
The fridge is stainless which doesn't allow for much magnetic attraction.

yes!
Exactly. Stuck to my fridge with no problem.
Could also be how he had it positioned on the phone. If he slid it further up it may have stuck better.
2:50 use your refrigerator because it stick well enough then any other wall nvm 2:56

The vertiball could probably be used on your door or tile in the bathroom if the suction cup is not too large to fit.
After you took the massager ball off the fridge the first time you touched the sticky back with one finger 🤣
"is that a plant or a bush"
That massager would probably work in most showers. It would be awkward to get to if you just wanted to use it spontaneously, but in the shower after a hard day would be a good time to use it too.
