@Boxy it's not hell. Hell is fighting eternity malice mode supreme calamitas. THAT is hell. Took about 200ish attempts to finally beat as it always one shots with any projectile.

This is the first time I have seen someone legitimately use magic harp in a mage playthrough
It can actually be really strong if you set up the arena properly.

Calamity mage-only is probably my favorite class in the mod. So many cool weapons with really interesting effects and projectiles. I think you'll have a lot of fun with it!

Also,I’d personally prefer the rainbow staff for most mech bosses and phase 1 plantera,but I respect your decision.
I love how Gregen put the guide and the merchant in prison after he defeated the mech bosses
Even tho I play more Melee and Summoner, Hardmode Mage class has some of the coolest weapons in the entire game, the Rainbow Rod and Nebula Blaze are some of my favorite weapons ever, I remember crafting them the first time I played Terraria and saying "WOW I can shoot Rainbows! Wow I can shoot magic fists LET'S GO!"

get crystal serpent, golden shower, kill destroyer, get dev wings, frog legs, hallowed armor, colored balloon with horseshoed. Kill duke fishron, get fishron wings, get razorblade typhoon. There ya go, you can practically beat terraria with ease now
Huh. Summoner takes on empress, Mage takes on duke, do the other classes get a unqiue boss? optional bosses are queen bee, deerclops, queen slime, eol, duke, huh. ig theres event bosses, that will be fun to see.
Interesting idea! Unfortunately there aren't enough optional Hardmode bosses to do that for each character and the Event Bosses are kinda lame.
I could try it for Calamity but basically every class gets something big from each optional boss. I'll keep this idea in mind though.

Bro cursed flames carried me from beggining of hardmode al the way to pillars. Suck it, i also did it with wooden armor until i defeated all 3 mech bosses, so DEALWIDDIT.

Mage is such a fun class to play, the weapons are so varied and many do very high damage, it’s just fun playing mage and dishing out as much damage as possible before dying (ESPECIALLY once you unlock typhoon and murder everything on screen lol)
you can honestly beat moonlord with the typhoon and spectre armor
man, i seriously need to just pick a class and stick with it, I need to stop trying to be a jack-of-all-trades.
