So from Andrew's interview, the current plan is for these 2 singles and a tour so they can see how everybody feels about the new lineup with Andrew taking over cleans before they commit to a full album. Also, Sergio Medina (from Sianvar, Royal Coda, Eidola, pretty much anything Swancore; also with visible face as the ice cream salesman in the Speed Demon video) has been handling bass in the same way Andrew did guitars for so long with DGD, as a touring and session/studio player, but now yet OFFICIALLY a full-fledged member. I imagine that will change after the tour ends and when Eidola's pre-planned Hiatus (as confirmed by Andrew in case anyone wants to @ me as if I'm speculating) at the end of their touring cycle for the Eviscerate/Mend double album (Mend is coming this fall and is a sister piece/pt 2 of Eviscerate). I think if Andrew stays on vocals, Sergio will officially join the band. Also, Martin (the other guitarist in Secret Band and regular studio collaborator for DGD guitar parts) will be playing Andrew's guitar parts for the new tour.
Hopefully Andrew stays the singer. I know when he covered for Tillian they had one of the best setlists they've ever had.

Been a DGD fan for so very long and many vocalist changes. I am not disappointed by any means. New sound-ish still sounds like it was written while Tillian was still with them..for us fans...we are used to change. Looking forward to the new journey!
Sergio (guitarist for Eidola, Royal Coda, Sianvar, Nova Charisma, Stolas) was the bassist on these songs.
And yes, all the clean vocals were Andrew, no Tilian.
glad you like the tracks. Midnight Crusade was the first track I heard from DGD in 2018 and they’ve been my favorite group ever since. I love Tilian and I’m excited to see what he does next but I’m so excited for what these guys do. These tracks are fire

I like both of these new singles but Straight from the Heart has been on replay, the "hard rock ish" section with Andrew's low vocals stole the show for me. I also think the guys will go in a heavier direction but honestly i hope they just make the music they want to make.

Back to DGD, I love how they just refuse to make a bad song, regardless of lineup. I love how the first song is more straight forward and the second one is very experimental. So good.
