I spent a lot of money on a HID Kit from a reputable UK reseller around 8 years ago. The light was brilliant but I'd often get LampF errors/light randomly not turning on, sadly the reseller wasn't interested in helping. I ended up giving the kit away as the seller keep saying it must be my bike, but the new owner had identical problems.

I did a comparison of quite few of thesee H4 replacement lamps for a 125cc trail bike. What happens with these units is that the lamps regulate the LED chip temperature, so the light output is reduced(and the power taken) so the chip runs at the maximum permitted temperature, you'll notice it being brighter initially, and then dim gradually as it heats up. Some of the performance claims are laughable, but they do a good job despite not getting anywhere near the manufacturers claims in the real world. They're really good for small or off road bikes where the electrical system is underpowered. Even the modest low powered LEDS without fans outperform those horrible 35W tungsten headlamps the smaller bikes are cursed with. Sometimes less is more, don't go for the bigger numbers because in practice they won't deliver.

why do you complain about front lights? from the factory it has 2 bulbs better than my previous XX which was really great for lighting the dark. LED sucks and here it is forbidden, you should ask people that came in the other side...
