I'm ok with infrastructure laws, but a theological degree? Says who? The Bible never required a man to have a degree! 1 Timothy 3:1-7 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. Paul Kagame continues to amaze and impress me with his leadership style and his values. The way he has turned his country around is nothing short of miraculous. The first time I heard him actually speak was when he addressed a Western journalist who attempted to put him on the spot with regards to the alphabet agenda. Needless to say, he handled that journalist with grace and poise while making his values and priorities abundantly clear.
I am 1,000% in support of what President Kagame is doing with these churches! These regulations should be made a global standard!

Every single law you mentioned is in effect...except the " Must have a Degree in Theology." Of course, some very small churches do not abide by the building safety rules. But, when they are inspected by the city engineers....they are Fined and will be shut down if their violations aren't corrected within the allotted time. I believe the people of Rwanda will one day Thank Kigame for these new laws, because they are to their benefit.

However I have seen most of these things that are mentioned here in this video, From the noise to the lack of sanitary facilities. But you know what if we were people who read our Bibles for ourselves these so called Pastors couldn’t fool us, because like the Bereans, we would go search the Bible for ourselves to see if what they are saying is true.
This situation is ripe for proper discussion, because so much has occurred in this world, in the name of Christianity.

No. Whether or not we believe the Bible, Paul situation was different. Paul had first been attacking the group of people known as Christians. After Paul did what he was instructed to do, he was considered converted. He stayed in the same area for several weeks. This was sold the original apostles… Those who walked with Christ while he was yet on earth, got a chance to see him for themselves and Vet him. Since that was over 2000 years ago, there is no one alive who has walked with Christ, who has the alleged gifts that we read about in the Bible, to Vet someone claiming that God has told them something, that the Scriptures does not agree with. But those who are Christians, the Bible is supposed to have the final say over anyone’s vision, how they feel in the morning, what spirit told them, what, etc. Again, I’m talking about for those who are Christians. I know that there a lot of splintering off, and people misunderstanding the word denomination, especially as it relates to Christianity. However, if one is to accept the Scriptures as they are for Christianity, they would know when any snake oil salesman claims that God spoke to them… Telling him something completely different from what the scripture say.

Church doctrine taught at Christian theology was rased up on separatism which is many leaning to their own understaning. God' church is in the body of Christ where tells us we need each others. The first churches after Pentecost was called the Way. They were the way for a complete community. God' leaders are chosen by God and prophets are raised up by them. They have God' anointing. The colonizers created the biblical doctrine churches follow today. False prophets God call them. Degrees by false prophets will not solve the problem. These people do not fear God.
