Do the controllers have capacity finger detection like Quest controllers? Where they can detect things like your thumb bumping lifted up and down and such? Great review, thank you!
Thanks for your message. No, the buttons are not capacitive. So you won't be able to track the thumb. However, I have to say that now that you mention it, it's been a while since there have been any games that utilize the position of the fingers on the controllers as gameplay mechanics. For which game or app did you think you needed it?
@ thank you for the fast reply! The gestures are particularly important to me for VRChat. Being able to do things like thumbs up and peace signs and such are very helpful, especially for communicating with Sign Language.
@@metroidmen Yes, you're right, I hadn't thought about VR Chat. However, if I may say so, since the controllers or VR Chat don't natively works on AVP and you still need to go through PCVR, I don't think these are the right controllers for VR Chat. There are so many other more targeted options available for using VR Chat.
Trouble is that Pimax have shocking QC and CS still and seem to be intent on announcing new products, before releasing the ones they have yet to deliver to customers.

I considered getting the AVP and these controllers, but decided to order the Pimax Crystal Super instead. It's a better experience for less money.
Yeah. Check the crystal light review in this channel if you need more info and 10$ discount.
