Why we are complaining about Tirupati laddu issue, when all temples are already using petroleum refined oil, cow bones white sugar, impure ghee, chemical food grains for cooking for Lord. At least from now onwards, let us offer pure items to Lord. If we do this, cows will be protected and natural farming also will flourish.
At least the Tirupati laddoo issue has encouraged people to wake up and hopefully the temples will be vigilant of their deity offerings from now on, and this applies to temples (including ISKCON temples) outside India also, unless they are growing their own produce and/ or protecting and maintaining cows. We are feeling disgusted and cheated. Yes we can why it happened and what to do in future. But what to do which already happened. How to atone. Shankaracharya has guven panchagavya prokshan for atonement for taking beef-fat laddu. What atonement ISKCON acharyas are recommending. I feel there should be tangible and doable mass atonement procedure for the ghastly mistake which is already done.

In many devotee communities, even mild stimulants such as caffeine are frowned upon, yet our Founder Acharya used a far more powerful stimulant in tobacco. An Acharya is one who teaches by his conduct, yet instructing his disciples to take a vow not to use intoxicants whilst himself using tobacco appears hypocritical. What's your view on this?
