The studies on parabens that everyone likes to fear monger about are studying amounts much higher than you would find in any cosmetic products, and you would need to slather yourself in them every day for something like 240 years to *potentially* see any theoretical disruptive effect. I think (though I don’t fully recall) that those studies were also done on rodents, and many things that negatively affect rodents and other small animals do not negatively affect humans. Parabens were being safely used as the preservative of choice in cosmetics for over 100 years before this controversy happened, and many of the newer preservatives have less safety data and are more likely to irritate skin. It definitely wouldn’t help the acne. I would only use it to alternate with an acne cleanser…. I don’t think it would clog…but there’s better cleansers for what you described. Have you tried any Skinbetter products? They have one that’s called cleansing gel that’s good for that skin type.
Would this work as a cleanser for someone who uses tretinoin and only cleanses at night? - i would wash it off and i only wear sunscreen (My skin is originally combo but its dry now due to tretinoin)
Pretty much anyone's response has to be, that you need to speak with your doctor first. In my opinion, I would feel much safer using this while pregnant than cedaphil or cerve as they have parabens and other things I wouldn't use while pregnant or even any other time!
I just got a the cleaning lotion. This is not supposed to make your face tingle right? I feel a little bit of tingling but my face doesn’t get red or itchy.
@@aestheticiantrishmccarty1317 I'm thinking I could get the Xeracalm bar and then use their extremely gentle cleansing lotion as my second cleanser. Your thoughts?
@@mignonalverson655 The xeracalm oil cleanser is good too! I have lifelong severe eczema and it's one of the few products from one line that I can get my skin to respond to. I use the oil cleanser, the xeracalm lipid replenishing cream and the tolerance cleanser in winter and summer!
Can u advice on what to use to gently clean off thick , gooey sunblock products on my face , just started on Loreal Retinol 24 night cream, need to apply sunscreen , sunblock products on my treated face area, but find it hard to clean off thick sunscreen product, what is a good cleanser to clean off sunblock. Please advice for a cleansing routine , thank you very much.
Hey, I personally like Avene foaming cleanser better! Especially for what you're needing to remove. Another great thing to do if it isn't too drying is to take witch hazel over your skin after cleansing. Just be careful it doesn't dry your skin too much

Well thanks for watching you'd probably enjoy Dr Dray more. 💜 She shares your views.
Is this cleanser appropriate for oily, acne-prone skin that’s extremely sensitive? Or would it clog the pores eventually?

I accidently bought this. Can I use it even if I have not done any surgery ?
I would think that's fine depending on your skin type
Is this safe for pregnant women?

I wouldn't think it would make it tingle at all honestly. Maybe you're skin is already irritated? If so that would make sense. Everything still ok?
So I wear LOADS of sunscreen and I was just diagnosed with ezcema. What 2 Avene products could I use for a double cleanse? Thx.
I would try their Xera calm products which has a wash and lotion ! It is used for eczema!
