We have those exact same trams here in Bergen, Norway and our trams started operating July 22nd 2010. Ours are grey and orange but otherwise identical in exterior and interior to these trams and it feels weird to see the same type of tram I ride to school every day, only in different colours lol. Gotta say I like these colours better than the colours on our trams.

+Didrick Namtvedt The Croydon trams were actually built for the Light Rail in Bergen. Tramlink and Bergen Light Rail had an agreement that Croydon could get the Bergen trams, and Bergen would wait for new ones to be built.

That's interesting, and it also explains the same design on the UK and Bergen trams. It would be interesting to go to the UK sometime and ride the Croydon trams, I guess it would feel even more weird than watching these videos but it would also probably make for an enjoyable ride and seeing other parts of London that I've never seen.

I'm sorry that I speak so much on this video, but it was also the first time for me to ride those new trams so I was a bit exited :P

I’m not trying too be rude or anything but most of your detail that you have done on the new London trams are inaccurate the older style trams run 80 miles per hour whilst the newer style run 50 miles per hour so the newer trams are obviously slower than the older style and the newer trams are only slightly bigger because of that one front door the older style trams are meter smaller than newer style.

+funcik1 no they're made by Stadler. The other type of Croydon Tram (CR4000s) are made by Bombardier

Are they free I didn't see anyone scanning an oyster card?

+SupaHotFire The oyster pads are located on every tram stop, not inside the tram. You can actually hear the sound of an oyster at 0:01. The ride will cost you the same as the price of the bus ride.
