The bike is performing quite well- already a win and to get P15 from dead last in MXGP is pretty dang strong. I hope the Ducati doesn't dominate the series like in MotoGP, but I wish them all the best. You don't see many factories entering a pro racing series, especially a world wide series. Antonio is total legend though.
We’ve had ktm group on top so long now that we could maybe use a change. But on a more serious note, there really is very little to gain on other brands at the moment. Motocross has come into an age where it really isn’t about the bike anymore. It shows where Jett can go 24-0 on a honda and dangerboy can dominate in the 250’s on a yamaha where as ktm has the entire top 5 in mx2 here in europe. It’s really more about the riders that any one brand picks out. Ktm has had a fantastic program for the youngsters here, but in the US you can see how kawazaki spends their money; investing in their coming generation of riders: Drew adams, Max vohland, Carson wood, etc. the engine that ducati has developed may help them a bit if they can get it dialed, but to share a secret, i don’t know much about engines (keeps my life simple). The engine again might be why they entered in a sand round.
