Stephen Amell tweeted that Colin Donnell (Tommy) worked at his day job, hopped on a plane, flew to Vancouver, did this scene and flew back the same day to reach his normal work on time. He went through a lot of trouble that he wasn't obligated to do, but he did it because he really cared about the show. It's just amazing how actors can put in extra effort to make the content extra special for us.

I loved the crossover. It was better than last year imo, the villains were great, the banter was on point, the cast mixing was great, the stakes were there, they had better use of less important characters, introduced new characters and brought back some old ones, and the action was spot on. Plus that new intro is TIGHT!
You know what I really enjoyed this 4 hour movie crossover more than Justice League. I think spending so many years and hours with these characters makes these crossover/team up episodes so much more rewarding and fulfilling to watch.
Now that Crisis on Infinite Earths is going on, I decided to come back and re-watch people's reactions to Earth X again. I remember laughing my ass off so hard at Ollie's "Super speed: I don't have it" line XD

The solar radiation overdoes that's killing Kara was borrowed from All-Star Superman. While Superman was being killed by it, it had the side effect of making him resistant to kryptonite, so maybe that's what happened here.
I like the fact that there's a 53rd Earth, and that it's kept secret or ignored because it's so terrible. Kind of reminds me of Sector 3601 from the Green Lantern books.
About who could have been the villains from Earth-X, I thought it would have been very cool to get... not evil twins, but evil parents. Old generation vs new generation. Reverse-Flash played by John Wesley Shipp, Overgirl played by Erica Durance, and Dark Arrow played by Jamey Sheridan (Robert Queen). Oliver, Barry and Kara. All of them lost their parents... and now, they would have to get rid of them. AGAIN. Personally, I think that would have got a much stronger impact on our heroes than their evil dopplegängers.

But I guess the CW didn't want to use that card since it would have canceled any opportunity to do an Injustice crossover in the future. Maybe for a future crossover located in Supergirl's Earth ? :)

For the Kryptonite part. That was in Batman vs Superman. And the only reason why it was being breathed in, was because Batman made it so that's how it'd get into him. So it went into his mouth and nose and started breathe it in. And when Superman was around the Kryptonite spear, he was weak from being around it. Which is why Lois had to pull him out of the water and throw it away.
Could be that evil Kara's over-exposure to the sun, while it's killing her it also gives her minor resistance to kryptonite so it wasn't VISIBLY affecting her but still weakened her enough to pierce her skin.
I wasn't really on board with the Oliver and Felicity thing, it didnt ruin the crossover at all, but we've heard this "I love you, but I don't want to make it official becuase I'm scared of losing you." storyline before a thousand times, but I did love the Stein and Jax storyline.
Wouldn't it be SUPER cool that our actual Kara became Powergirl after her universe was destroyed AND she moved to earth-1 to teach her own teen-self just arrived from the phantom zone as the new supergirl? How great could that dynamic be? Kara mentoring herself and the duo Powergirl-Supergirl, adult and teenager. Hell, that could be a whole season of Supergirl on its own.

If you recall the end of Season 2 and throughout Season 3 of Flash, we saw John Wesley Shipp played as both Jay Garrick of Earth 3 and Henry Allen of Earth 1. Therefor there could be another Kara, she just has a different name like John Wesley Shipp did.
Jerry I’m pretty sure that he will always equal Flash in Speed due to having the Negative Speedforce. So therefore, he will always match Barry speed for speed
My theory as to how Eobard Thawne works is that Barry Allen and Eobard Thawne are the different sides of the same coin, they balance each other out in the speed force. As long as Barry exists Eobard also has to exist. This is my theory of why Eobard lost his speed when he killed Barry's mom because the flash never existed so neither could reverse flash. You can keep destroying the Reverse-Flash, but he has to continue in some form because Barry is still in existence. Thats my logic as to how this continues to work.

Barry rescued his younger self which Eobard results to killing his mother afterward to prevent the Flash's creation instead. When he realizes he needs Barru to Spark the Speedforce he loses his speed and makes a plan then. It was only the comics and animations that Eobard was meant to kill Nora Allen directly.

The arrow could have been made of very little kryptonite or a coating of kryptonite and that is why it did not effect her much when she caught it

Idk if the rules apply in the show but in the comics only kryptonite from superman/girl universe can hurt them kryptonite from another universe doesn’t affect them.
