So glad you made this video. For me, my DJI OM4 mainly serves as a way to do timelapse and hyperlapse. Although I know you can do great video as you've shown many times, I find I use mine mainly for this. One day I'll actually get an ND filter as you've recommended so I can take better video with my phone/gimbal.

Great video! I, for one, prefer doing my hyperlapse shots on the Mimo app with the OM4 than using the hyperlapse mode on my phone camera. It's just easier that way, and looks better too!

Not necessarily related but curious if the DJI Om4 needs counterweight when used in conjunction with Moment case, wide angle lens or anamorphic, adapter + variable nd filter when used all together ? Fantastic video, I followed all the instructions and achieved lovely motion blur… however I couldn’t create a smooth video as I couldn’t track an object with the Moment app… not sure what to do here 😢
Thank you very much for your feedback. Unfortunately, tracking is not available there. He would have to use a gimbal which has AI tracking sensor.
Zdenka, helpful and informative. Now I just need to figure out how to do the hyperlapse with the ISteady V2 and an IPhone 7+. Perhaps a different video app? Hmmm?
It is actually exactly the same…. Just follow instructions.. the app is different but it is the same

Is there any difference in the mimo software when using the om3 or 4? Or are all the features the same. I am still suffering through a decision to upgrade to the 4.
It doesn’t make sense to update… it is all same ..
This software is very good, but i edit apple files on pc, i.e. they always need to be converted. Is it possible to set the software to mp4 recording?

I didn't notice any counterweights attached. Were they not needed with the OM4? I'm trying to figure out what filters I can use with iphone 12 pro max, OM4. Are moment filters too heavy? so confusing ;)

Do you know what information is missing in my head? How the counterweights are used with OM4, along with how many are needed for specific accessories like filters and lenses. What works, and what doesn't.
It seems that Moment 67mm filters might be a problem for OM4 along with their lenses. So, looking at other manufacturers, the information gets even more opaque and muddy.
Someone with skills like yours should dedicate a video to this topic specifically. It would be so remarkably helpful ; )
My phone is Samsung A30s. Will DJI OM4 will work on my phone?
Unfortunately I don’t know as I don’t have that phone.. the best would be visiting their website and check compatibility list

Around 4:51, you changed to manual mode. ISO 100 with 1/30 give indeed a white screen on a sunny day. But why are you using a filter, while you can increase the shutter speed? 1/30 is quit (s)low. If you change it to a much faster shutter speed, you will get the same effect, right?
Fast shutter speed will make it super choppy and not pleasant to watch

Hi Zdenka I just bought DJI OM 4 yesterday I wanted to know more about using it's most of features on Xiaomi redmi note 7 pro since I use that device to do my videos, cause many of the Features are available on iPhone only and my device is able to shoot videos at 4k @ 30 fps but in dji mimo app its only available to shoot at 1080p @ 30fps only. Could you please help me out... Thanks
Unfortunately some Android phones are limited…. You might either film in your native camera app or look into Filmic Pro app

@@ZdenkaDarula I uses redmi note 7 pro from xiaomi so if I purchase filmic pro app on my account can I use the same account on multiple devices in future or do I have to purchase individually on every devices even though using same account (gmail account)

Well if you record normal video for 15 min and then speed it up in post, you will kill your storage…. That is the difference

I like your tutorial but I found My Dji OM6 useless... Bought it for Hyperlapses 's only ( with the tracking object function ) and the video quality is absolutely awful. The Dji app downgrade the quality of the video in my iphone14 pro so bad and I can't even use it anywhere...
Hello Daria… sorry to hear this. What are you can do? You could use the gimbal as a stabilizer and shoot hyper lapses in your native camera app if you need motion Lapsis, unfortunately you will have to use DJI mimo app but otherwise I would definitely use native camera app

Motion blur in hyperlapse doesn't look nice. Hyperlapses work well without motion blur, isn't it ?
Actually motion lapses with motion blur are far more advanced… without motion lit it is just smartphone footage …
