    I never thought the learning curve of the mobile phone gimbal was as hard as it shouldn't be. Out there on YT there are many tutorials for OM3 4 but your tutorial is very easy to understand. Thank you.

    when you choose Spinshot it does not spin with gimbal but only in the course of joistik and the phone rotates itself

    • @LiquidErf
      @LiquidErf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In spinshot you can move the joystick left or right to spin, or spin the gimbal itself. Spinning the gimbal in spinshot mode is identical to using fpv mode. The difference being that in fpv mode when you move left of right with the joystick you'll pan left and right instead of spinning. Hope that helps

    Great video erl and please note this DJI is really more designed for Apple iPhone not the Samsung S10 or S20 because the motion tracker doesn't work great on the s10 for example.

    • @LiquidErf
      @LiquidErf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Chris, there has been a few glitches with active track, recently I’ve had some jittery footage using the iPhone too. The video modes seem to be fine on both android and Apple. Let me know though of any issues you have as I’ll be contacting DJI in the near future to discuss.

    Good tutorial. You were using the Spin Mode wrong though. You aren’t suppose to spin the gimbal. Hold the gimbal straight and use the joystick to tilt the phone so the left side of the phone is down a bit. Now turn physically twist the gimbal just a bit so that the gimbal poll is at an angle (about 45 degrees), and the phone is horizontal. Then hit the record button and slide the joystick the other direction, as you walk back or forward. The gimbal will spin your phone all the way around to the right side. I’m guessing you’ve figured it out by now I but I spent a little time in the comments and didn’t see it mentioned. Soooo just in case.

    • @adrianmillerphotography5402
      @adrianmillerphotography5402 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for that, I use the joystick occasionally like described, it’s certainly smoother. However it’s not 360 which sometimes can be useful. Thanks again and happy videoing

    Hi There. A question to ask u.
    I have a DJI osmo mobile 3. If I put it on a Trypod would it follow a Rally car on a track it self. Can it b set up that way.
    Thank u.

    • @LiquidErf
      @LiquidErf  ปีที่แล้ว

      Theoretically yes but I suspect it may lose the tracking with the cars quite often. Being that they’re fast and small.

    Hi, Thanks very much for sharing this tutorial, it's really good, clear and easy to understand. I have a question if this is ok as I've just opted to get the Osmo 3 (as I got a good deal compared to the 4) and it relates to the sport mode. So I'm hitting the trigger twice and keeping it pressed to activate the sports mode and it shows as enabled but then flashes again after a second or 2 and says disabled...Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere? Just wondering if this is something you could help with based on your knowledge. Thanks in advance👍

    • @LiquidErf
      @LiquidErf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really appreciate your comments, thanks. For sports you must keep it pressed on the second click for as long as you want it active. As soon as you release then it’s deactivated. If this is what you are doing and it’s still faulty there’s a couple of things to try. 1 delete and reinstall the app on your phone. 2 try on another phone to see if there’s still a problem to see if it’s your phone only that has the issue. Either way then reach out to DJI support to explain. In terms of osmo 3 it’s a great gimbal and equal to the om4 as long as the phones not really heavy so you’ve made a good choice. In my playlist you’ll see om4 and om3 tutorials, both are virtually compatible in terms of features. Thanks again and please let me know how you get on with sport mode, I’d love to know the outcome.

    • @LiquidErf

      Hi. For sport mode press the trigger twice, keeping it held the second time.

    • @Shoxpyre
      @Shoxpyre 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@LiquidErf It's not where it's supposed to be in the settings and the trigger command doesn't do anything. All other trigger special commands work though and everything else is in it's place. Just no sport mode. Maybe my firmware or app needs updated. In place of where sport mode should be is "Follow Speed"
      Edit: Figured it out least for me in my app it is no longer called sport mode and instead simply "Follow speed" with the option of slow or fast. And it only stays on while holding the second press, I was under the impression from many guides and reviews that it stays in sport mode(fast mode) after the second press is held for three seconds. But it actually only stays active until you let go of the trigger then goes back to normal speed. Unless you manually select Fast, then in that case stays in fast mode without any trigger command.

    • @dillonvillain
      @dillonvillain 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Shoxpyre Does yours bring up a screen notification that the faster mode is being used during trigger press?
      Mine also doesn't do the fixed axis in free mode when holding trigger.
