Excellent job. I switched to the Parisien knot last year after over 50 years of tying my laces the simple reef knot way. I used to have to bend down and tie my work boots over and over all day long. Not fun when you're working out on the water on a freezing day or shoveling snow. Now I tie my shoes once in the morning and they stay tied all day long. Call it a bunny ear when teaching your six year old. Call it a bight when speaking to grown-ups, not rabbit ears.
There is another way but not sure I can make sense in print. If you follow that a traditional knot is an overhand knot made with two bunny ears, then simply run your bunny ear of choice through twice. A double wrap within the overhand knot. No idea if that makes sense.

A big thumbs up! One of the best instructional videos on tying this know I’ve seen. It’s presented clearly and is easy to follow. Thanks for this.
Thank you

I got what your saying.
Gonna work on this knot. Question: what laces are those?
Kg's Braided Nylon Heavy Duty Boot Laces . They are really great laces.
I thought they looked a little less stiff than ironlaces.
This kills me to death.
No idea how this was recommended, but learn a loggers knot.
It's self tightening & no dog ears to trip you up.
