Absolutely love your videos and step by steps, I recently rebuilt my forks when I switched to legends axeo cartridges. It’s a really easy process if you just take your time, and for a helpful hint put the front axel back in so when you loosen the clamps it doesn’t just drop, it also makes putting the tubes back on easier if you use the axel to help level it.
Pretty good video, but a couple suggestions: Service one fork tube at a time. Use your axle to realign the serviced tube with the other tube that has not been removed and is still factory set. Once you have the serviced tube reinstalled, and the axle can easily slide in and out between both tubes, then remove and service the other tube. Repeat when reinstalling the second tube. The only other thing is torquing your axle pinch bolt before torquing your axle nut. Torque your axle nut before your pinch bolt. FWIW: You don't have to remove your tank, but this is an excellent video on how to remove a tank if you need to. There are also fender and tank covers sold by Harley that fit your tank and fender like a glove and prevent scratching your paint. Peace. jc

Wrong wrong wrong @ the 13:26 time marker you torque the axle then spin the tire a couple of times while engaging the front brakes semi hard to centerlize the wheel then torque the punch bolt. Correct me if I'm wrong. Aside from that good video 👍
Cover, that is the ignition switch cover. The ignition switch is the complete ignition switch which has two Allen head screws securing it.

How many hours does it take to remove the fork tubes and install new fork seals?
Would this be the same process for an 09 flhx?
What type of loctite did you use? I see it is saying 246 but can't find it locally. How important is it to have the 246 loctite?
Great video but I wish you would have gone a little further to show how to replace the triple tree bearings. my bike (2014 Limited"
has the "death wobble" and Harley mechanics just pencil whipped it while it was under warranty. Their answer was "don't let go of the handlebars" lazy bastards. Sometimes my hat gets lose and I need to grab it. that is getting very dangerous now. I can upload a short video of the problem if you would like to see it.

Why not just download the pdf version of the shop manual for your bike .
I paid a reasonable amount for the 644 page shop manual for my Buell .. then I later found it for Free on a Buell parts supplier web site..

@@chicodurham4733 I did not say they were Free. I said I found a source for a Free Manual for my 2008Buell Ulysess after i had paid an aftermarket Manual vender for a copy of the pdf version for my bike ..
Ohlin has the worst installation instructions I have seen.. My Yamaha shop manuals and Buell shop Manual are far better. If you install Ohlin Cartridges you need Ohlin instructions however..
