What’s crazy is many of the Prevention Officers (white truck) carry a side arm and AR-15 as they’re the ones that make arrest for Arson. They’ve only had Red and Blues for maybe 5 years. They can also write tickets.

They have about the same pull as a highway patrol since their jurisdiction is the entire state

@@Forestryman707 Kinda, but their goal isn't general crime prevention like highway patrolmen and game wardens. It's fire prevention, the law enforcement they perform usually doesn't go outside that scope, and a lot of the work they do is proactive fire protection.
