    We were there a week or so later. Amazing city. The restoration was incredible. We took a few tours. They only do them in German though my wife was able to translate much of it for me.

    We are planning a city trip to Berlin and we are thinking to visit Dresden for a day trip how long is the train ride and is it easy to go

    mein, gott bevor man eine städtereise macht, muss man sich mal sachkundig machen , was es für gebäude und historische plätze gibt.der stallhof war in der renaissance ein hof wo rittertourniere statt fanden

    Zwinger is a funny word even for a German, as zwingen means to force someone. The closest expression is "Zwinge" or clamp. I did not know what is really means so I had to look it up in Wikipedia. They say, it is part of a mediveal fortification and is the place between two walls, mainly in front of other walls. A different word for it is "Park". Which we both know.
    But it is not the Zwinger Schloss, because it is not a Schloss, it is a Zwinger.
    And the ugly guy with the pan flute and goat legs is Pan, the greek Faun. But I am sure you already knew.

      It was designed for more medieval wartimes. Designed to trap the attackers between two walls.
