      He was the franchise player after they left. Celtics just had no draft capital so the team wasn’t very good. They were always in the playoffs and didn’t have many picks left from the Allen and KG trades, hence why they fleeced the nets for 3 lottery picks.

      What? Wth? Since when was yelling "air ball" at someone discrediting them as a player and/or their career. He was an opponent at the time & one of the greatest shooters of all-time. It was the ECF & a rivalry with Boston. It's like more of a relief that he missed than dissing him as a player. Plus how/why do you talk shit about people not knowing the future in the first place? Makes no sense. Cuz it's not like you knew Ray Allen was gonna be on the Heat at that time. It would be a different story if you did tho then you can talk shit.

    Those 2 teams will be 3rd-time face-off in the EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS, Miami HEAT against Boston CELTICS.
    Back in 2012 (after 10 years), then 2020, and now, will be face-off in 2022 (NBA 75th).

    Rondo was a walking triple double back then before westbrook. Didn't have much explosiveness but him, cp3, and lebron's IQ is made for the game.

    Watching this game back time and time again just realize how effective the wade-james pick and roll is, everytime they ran that play, they got something good towards the basket or a wide-open three, was wondering why they don’t run that play more often

    I’m a big fan of this Miami team, but any basketball fan has to feel for Boston here. Paul Pierce fouls out on a great defensive play followed by Rondo clearly getting smacked across the head driving to the basket. Hate to see a game of this magnitude and level of competition be dramatically shaped by the refs. This is why we have replay!

      Finally someone who gets it. There's no way the celtics lose this series if they would have won this game. That rondo no call in OT ended this game, this series, and ultimately, the celtics big three.

    • @sonny1415
      @sonny1415 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      MR. MCKETHAN im a huge rondo fan so i might be a bit biased. I think iverson had a better feel for the game and his passes were instinctive. Those same instincts that make him such a lethal scorer and thief on defense. Rondo was definitely more methodical and his passes came from him reacting to the defense. He did dictate the defense every now and them but he was more passive offensively. I think rondo is the better passer because of the variety of ways and angels he uses. Iverson still an amazing passer tho. And i think rondo is HOF, one the most intellectually effective players i’ve watched and the closest to a player coach since magic.
