Have tons of relatives in area of England and British Isles so you might be related to me! Do you have relatives who are named George or John or Alfred or Robert or Hubert just to name a few very repeated in the family tree which i have a copy of and it is 22 foot long and 5 foot wide!
After watching you and a few others, I now know why my Mother hated Ivy. She always said you don't even have to plant the dam stuff and it's everywhere.
Great work ! I have to cut branches too before my old tamaris collapse…he is rotten a little..more than 80 years old… I hope the fox will find his home back after your work… ♥️🦊
What a vast improvement for that garden. Council needs to get a wood chipper in that area and clean it up. From a safety and health standpoint, they really need to address these issues. Crazy how everyone living around it pays the price for the ineffectiveness. You guys tackle anything - what a huge benefit to that area you both are 😊
You two always make the day brighter. The best duo on TH-cam! Isn't it weird how the Council finds time and funds to do the silliest things, but lets a Jurassic mess (I noticed) attract vermin right in the middle of a neighborhood? Those foxes aren't hanging out there for nothing.
Hoping you will add a 2nd part... Great job of cutting the encroaching, over-hanging tree limbs into neighbor's yard....subscribed and liked. Happy holidays...
Hi Alex & Gary, Happy Friday to You Both!!😊 Wow, so Many Trees Broken on the Other Side Plus the Trees You 2 Got!! A Outstanding Job!!💯💖 Now @ 4:36 ...was a Fox🦊 & I never seen a Live Fox🦊 except at the Zoo!! Gary said, Work Haha!!🤣 @ 12:38 ...there was a Flower Plant,🪴 I Would Dig that Up & Put it in Clients Yard or in a Flower Pot?🪴 Hope You have Part 2 to this Yard Clearance/ Tree Removal & Fixing the Fence.... & Get the Flower Plant❓ Merry Christmas to You Both!! 🎄 Have a Wonderful Evening & Weekend Separately !! ❤❤ Love Barb from Central Illinois USA❣
👍🏻 job as always, Alex & Gary. Yrs ago my hubby helped a mate out with some labouring & the overgrown 🌲 were bad. He used ropes like you’s did. The neighbours should get onto the council about all the Ivy 🌳 etc damaging the fences
Maybe the home owners could all pitch in and have that blank area cleared out. Would make a great community garden. Get all those branches and weeds and stuff all out for everyone.
You terrify me balancing on rooftops, so frightened you are going to slip and fall. That said, wonderful job, lots of trees on other side of fence, my thoughts are they’ll cause issues later on, meanwhile Blessing to you both, have a very Merry Christmas and may 2024 bring you good luck. From Australia 🇦🇺 ❤❤😊😊😊😊
Just as I was thinking why doesn’t he use the chainsaw you answered the question! 😂 this was an awkward one but you got the job done as always, not sure if you’ll be posting another video next week so hope you both have a lovely Christmas ❤
Nobody can tell me that this piece of property belongs to some random private person! The council is lying out of their arses! I'm telling you, they probably know that it's a "problem child" with how jungle like it looks, and they want to save on budget and costs to discreetly push the troubles around this issue away. Their motto: Out of sight, out of mind. It would be worth looking into the property lists to find the real culprit of this "I just leave it be for all eternity" chaos.
Advertise the property as being for sale for a super low price, with the council's number as the contact. If they really don't know who owns it, they'll very soon find out who does, just to stop people calling!
It is quite within reason that the council do not own that piece of land, they would know as someone is paying rates for it, but they are not going to tell anyone who rings up, there are privacy laws etc.
For a very small fee anyone can find out who owns a piece of land from the Land Registry. The land doesn't need an address because you can search by defining a boundary. This should have been done by the resident before paying for clearance themselves.
Hi guys, We have a piece like that behind the back fence..Nobody says they own it but the council mows it couple times a year...lol Great job with the trees, plus Not using chainsaw on a slippery wet shed roof is really the right thing to do..Have a Safe and Happy Christmas..That fox didnt seem scared of you's with all the noisee you were making..Enjoy the time with family and friends from your Tassie Fan ❤🙏👍❤🙏👍🎄🎅🤶🍻🦊🐸🕸🤗
Oh my goodness, is there nothing that you won’t tackle? A good decision NOT to use the chainsaw when you were on the shed. It was hilarious seeing Gaz with all the equipment except the one that was needed. Keep up the good work lads. Love watching you 🤩 and have a happy Christmas 🎄 and 🤩⛄️🎅x
I am seriously worried about the safety of you two. You need to do some research on cutting down trees and hard hats need to be worn for this kind of work. Trees are famous for changing direction or kicking back when being cut. Watching from logging country, Oregon USA.
All that overgrown vegitation behind the property is just like whats growing behind our properties in my street, only ours is a much larger area.It so called belongs to the Council, but they havnt maintained it for years , ive been complaining about the area since the early 1990s. The Council erected security gates at both ends i do have a key, but cant get through to do anything re clear at the back of my property to maintain my fence , it is over run with Rats too , coming into our gardens . Council are a waste of time 🙄 Brilliant work youve both done asalways , keep safe 👍❤️❤️
Hi ! Good work. Im surprised the back fence didnt meet the back neighbours fence. That must be owned by a council or utility company ? Im more than sure it isnt private.
The council maintenance and vermin control services really need to clear that easement of rubbish and debris before the foxes and rats and friends make it their permanent homeland. It would help everyone in the area.
Hi guys have you thought about having a list of the tools you use and where to buy them ? I had my own gardening business some years ago and I purchased my tools in New Zealand and I found that the english hand tools were such good quality . I see you using some hoes that you cannot buy here in Australia and I know that they are very good to use. I still have the tools that I bought for my business and they are over 30 years old. I love watching your videos and the great entertainment you both bring to them. Thank you
Surely this could have been done by removing the front limb only. Not really sure the whole thing needed to go, especially if it's on another property, even if no-one knows who owns it.
Great video guys, that was a mess.question the foxes are they nuisance or just around, have they ever attacked people.who’s responsible the council just curious.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hello oh yes a nuisance they are. If you leaver even a hose pipe out they will chew it to bits, I’m not sure who own the land if I’m honest the customer said it’s been like that for years
Yes, bad neighbours or no neighbours makes it difficult. For us is a bad neighbour that has to be pushed to clean her side of the fence, but, as she has nothing on her property she doesn't mind at all so cleans every 8 years. Meanwhile we have to go into her property every year (open no fenced) and clean her side to prevent all the ivy and thorned stuff from coming on our fence and garden. And pouring some chemicals to kill the whole mass and cutting it after 10 days or so. Hopefully she will shell the property for someone to build a house.
Unless I missed it, the customer is unhappy with the trees behind the back of their fence, pushing against it, and all the ivy growing over. So, what about the tree, at 17:01, in their own garden that is leaning into the fence on the side and into their neighbours' back garden. They can't moan about trees destroying their fence, all whilst having a tree themselves that is destroying their neighbours fence.
What happens orther side of the fence is none of your business. This the the problem more bothered about someone else's property than there own . Keep your nose on your side of the fence because your making a problem for yourself when there is no problem.
Behind the fence looks like a waste land, I'm sure the council is supposed to maintain it, but like other places they don't have the man power, or the money on the books for upkeep, I'm sure they won't care, and the houses on the other side will be glad it's cleaned up. Have a good day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 5:35 ww year 5:32
That ivy will soon just grow back if just left again, all they did was scrap it off the fence panel, they didn't follow it back to it's source and try to kill it off.
That land with the trees looks like it's left over from the original estate developement , for which the local authority then would have given planning permission. The local authority should KNOW who the owner is.The local authority should FORCE the owner to clear it.
May I suggest that you work faster, no talking whilst you do your work ? Be like Quick Cuts and Fills Home Care. They just give short briefing about the property and work very hard. You take your time to do the task. Not efficient at all.

You need a battery-powered mini chainsaw.

Ha ha foxes like to take a Poo on your lawn furniture. I'm surprised they wouldn't want to sleep on it Not Pooh on It.
But they're just so cute.
Maybe the home owners could all pitch in and have that blank area cleared out. Would make a great community garden. Get all those branches and weeds and stuff all out for everyone.
As soon as the land is cleared, the owner would mysteriously appear.
Well done guys, you have got the lumberjack shirts lol. Happy Christmas
ob well done.👍
Great job!
Thank you! Cheers!👋
foxes maybe pest but they do keep the rats away
Great job! And good call on not using the chainsaw while balancing on a wet, mossy roof😂 Happy holidays!💚
😂🎄🎅
That was a challenge 👍
Great camera work anyway.
In the States of the neighbors growth comes over into your property line you can trim it down.
Anything that overhangs the property line is fair game. If their tree has damaged the fence you can sue for it. Even the council.
You terrify me balancing on rooftops, so frightened you are going to slip and fall. I'm glad that's English ivy and not poison ivy
Same 😀
We don't have poison ivy in the UK.
Good job plus I got to see a fox too.

If a neighbour's tree overhangs or damages boundaries then the victim should be able to deal with it.

Looks like you have more trees up against the fence. They all need to go.
How 🤔 ❓️ Cold 🥶 😑 😒 😕 was it out there that Day ???
It was cold 🥶

Looks like it's some kind of easement, not a residential yard. Might be worth putting a gate back there keep the fence line trimmed.
😊❤

Good work boys. Are you allowed to take trees down. As iv been told I have to contact the council even if I want a limb off
Surely this could have been done by removing the front limb only. Not really sure the whole thing needed to go, especially if it's on another property, even if no-one knows who owns it.
@@fluxington The tree is going to continue to grow so the problem will come back if it is not removed, it is far too close to the fence.
Are you maybe in a conservation area? You do need to check if individual trees have preservation orders on them even if not.
✨🏆✨
Great video guys, that was a mess.question the foxes are they nuisance or just around, have they ever attacked people.who’s responsible the council just curious.👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hello oh yes a nuisance they are. If you leaver even a hose pipe out they will chew it to bits, I’m not sure who own the land if I’m honest the customer said it’s been like that for years
Did you check to see if it was a fairy tree before cutting it down?
It only takes one neighbour to turn a street bad, and there are plenty of bad'uns these days!
If that was my house I would be illegally gardening back there. That’s how much of a gardening junkie I am.
Haha 🎄🥰
👍👍👍👏👏👏🦊👍
Yes, bad neighbours or no neighbours makes it difficult. They should open the fence and claim the land. Yer either gonna find out who owns it real fast. Or you're gonna get some free land.
It would've been so much easier just to cut everything down on the other side of the fence.
Behind the fence looks like a waste land, I'm sure the council is supposed to maintain it, but like other places they don't have the man power, or the money on the books for upkeep, I'm sure they won't care, and the houses on the other side will be glad it's cleaned up. Have a good day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 5:35 ww year 5:32
Youll be replacing them panel's before you know it! They look fed up after all that ivy taking over them!
Please do take _all_ the trees along that fence down. They will cause problems in the future!
And _do_ remove _all_ the ivy too!
That ivy will soon just grow back if just left again, all they did was scrap it off the fence panel, they didn't follow it back to it's source and try to kill it off.
