That is such a good idea. Using a bit holder in a way that functions as a very effective detachable belt clip, is something that seems so obvious now you've invented it. But it's one of those ideas that might never have come to fruition without the dynamic mind of Laura Kampf.

Holy buckets. I laughed during this video because your cleverness is incredible. Plus, you have mad skills with that angle grinder. This key chain upgrade is f* rad. I worked with an engineer who cut and modified tools all the time which angered the next guy who needed a screw driver, but it worked for him. Keep doing your thing. I love these small projects.

Similar clink-less folding key holders ('keybar?') cost upwards of $30, and don't have a detachable accessory like yours. Fantastic!

I actually thought that you were going to have the U-shaped part with the cross-pin hooked to your belt loop.
And then the keys on the key-ring part since it is smaller when detached.
Still a very neat device...and so well made!
