Inspired. Magnificent. So helpful. 2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
Absolutely Awesome Lyrics. Praise the Lord for giving you the Beautiful Words to Write and for "His" Sacrifice. Weeping every time I hear it. To God be the Glory. AMEN!
@@ErinCassidyEmanuel Music is much like a tone in someone’s voice. I could tell someone that they are very smart in a sincere or a sarcastic way; I could tell someone I love them in a warm or cold tone. I want the words I say to be presented like Jesus would present them. It would take extremely complicated guidelines to compose the inflections of my voice, but Jesus gave all the laws in one word-Love. We need to speak to one another with Christ-honoring inflections, not inappropriate tones. Music needs to sound like how our Lord Jesus Christ would sing it.
@@ErinCassidyEmanuel I definitely don’t consider myself an expert, and I definitely do not fully understand God. As a Christian musician with a secular music degree, I have spent much time striving to please God in music. It’s a very spiritual subject. In my opinion, this music (not words) draws more attention to feelings, the musicians, and the world more than previous arrangements have. Of course, God uses fallible works, but we should want to sound more like the Lord. Just as we want our words to be biblical, we should want our emotions to be biblical, not worldly. There is a wrong way to worship God just as there is a wrong way to approach God, serve God, pray to God, etc.

Doesn’t quite sound like the worship is for Christ alone anymore. 😢
What do you mean? The whole song is about Jesus's sacrifice for us and His victory over death and sin for us
@@ErinCassidyEmanuel All the words are, but the music doesn’t sound like the same message.
@@joseffrancis what makes it sound ungodly?
