    Jesus, I've been killing myself cleaning up white halos when knocking out product, objects and people from backgrounds for years. I wished I'd watched this video when you first published it in April when I had some outlining to do. Keep up the good work on explaining ALL the techniques, steps and nuances when using Photoshop.

    OMG. I have spent hours trying to find ways to get better selections. Countless hours online seeking for the magic slider that was going to get me closer. This was by far the best tool I have seen. I am excited to try them in my projects. Thank you so much for this. You are the best!

    I usually spend several hours a week removing backgrounds. Normally, I just use defringe, but this offers an amazing amount of control. Thanks!

    I have been retouching for over 35 years and neither myself or any of my colleagues knew about this one. Thankyou for sharing as maximum and minimum have been around as long as I can remember and now we have a great use for them and likely on a daily basis.

    I learned about this filter, and also some new keyboard shortcuts, also the blur. The little things add up- this was a fantastic help. ( I did not know about the expand/ contract either, or exactly what fringe was). What a great tool. I am sure my work will be easier and better.

    Never used these filters and I have been using Photoshop since 1991! I will be using this vs. reducing white matte that I was using before. And, I love that this keeps me working non-destructively, too!

    Once again ... GREAT STUFF! The filters were new and will be very useful. I wish I had them about a week ago while I tediously tried to cut a flock of birds from a blue sky. This would have sped things up and given better results.

    I always used the select - Modify - Selection with expand/contract and feather. That way tends to be trial and error based. This is a way more precise way of selecting.
