With teamsters going on strike yesterday and port dock workers going on strike today, your videos are now MORE than just gardening tips, Robbie. They may become a NECESSITY for survival. Whether it be for short or long term, we listeners are much better prepared than many. Bless you and thank you for taking so much of your busy days to show us how you garden for cheap, easy, AND healthy!

    Hi Robbie!
It is neat seeing your progression in gardening over the last few years.
Love your obvious joy in the garden, and your creativity!
The wall is a mass heat retaining element that comes in handy during the colder weather.

Hi Robbie my pineapple sage grows pretty much all year down here in Escondido. I prune mine back couple times a year. Also, It seems to flower most of time. If you let it get big branches that touch dirt will eventually root and you’ll have a new plant

Hello Robbie, love your videos as always! I am very savvy too, planting and saving seeds plus make my own fertilizer and bug spray. Improvising everything so not to spend money, lol 😂. Only we bought from our local family owned “Simply Organic” are garden soil, compost and mulch which only $20 to 25 per yard. The harvests we have is more than enough for us, decides to retire from military and civilian doing what we love “gardening, cooking and motorcycling”! I feel so home, listening to you and watching all your plants. Happy gardening everyone, love and hugs to all❤️🤗

I have tried several times to watch this video...internet connection arggh. ANYWAY, I was thinking a nice topical video (if you've not done one yet) may be _why_ to leave the spent flowers [ie for our friends in the winter, for auto-re-seeding, etc.] and then showing some examples?
Another idea may be to show how to harvest ginger / turmeric "as you go" whilst still leaving the plant in ground? Many of us do go on your journey with you so I suppose I'm thinking to inspire the newer to gardening folks.
PS. I love my pineapple sage. The flippin' hornworms ravaged my bush-sized tomatillo this year (outgrew the basil that 'protected' it) and I only had 1/4 of my typical harvest, though I still have some coming into size. I caught and released maybe 25 hornworms within the span of 2 weeks (in June). Apparently I need to bring in plants near them that the birds like/love.

Good thoughts on separate videos, as many times talk about these things in other videos or live streams…thanks. Also that is a lot of hornworms, you need either more birds or a black light to use at night to gather them up. Take care and Thanks❤️

I am seriously planning to transition to fall garden starting this season. Spring I will have mostly native plants, wild flowers, herbs, and only some veggies I really like such as luffa, tomato, and pepper. No more summer garden. Too hot and dry (100+ F), too much watering, too many pests😬 NorCal 9b

I learned my lesson this last summer season. I have a lot of container plants and spent my summer watering and watching my garden burn in the high heat!!!! No veggies or new plants starting next June until next late October! It will just be another hot summer from now on!
