The things they need to add in the future is a house like in the Crew 2 for us to spawn rather than the car meet and putting our favourite cars in the garage, the ability to change wheel colour materials, adding more wheels, let us customise our license plates, let us pick which vehicle class to pick in PVP rather this random generator, expand on the legend points.
besides the ones you explained in the video, I would add: -allow audio signatures to be combined: one engine audio with a kit, or two kits on stock engine.... -more engine swap vanities -allow to revert interiors to stock color -special modifiers from grand races and pvps: no collisions, no nitrous, infinite nitro, choose one bonus set for everyone [loot digger, bucks magnet, xp magnet] -implement the chase mechanic into the demolition race: instead of a demo derby royale, every now and then make chase squad team hunt down runners -create a system that converts any currency into other currency [example: pay 50k bucks to get 50k crew credits or tickets -special settings in pro settings: when you're adjusting the settings, it'll be nice to also set driving assists on that specific car [traction control, steering deadzone, etc] and maybe have 2 or 3 save slots so you can save your pro settings and don't have to screenshot them every time
Remove corner resets - that's just stupid trick, this is a racing game you are supposed to take corners not skip them. Remove traffic in summit events, repeating feat 30x times just because AI decides to stop on your path gets boring really fast, alternatively they can create one traffic "preset" so everyone has exacly the same traffic.
I partly afree. Imo the traffic during escape fits the Themen of the Event, Like it does with the duel. I think they shouldnt make 3 of 9 events a duel with Traffic again. @@CatCrewSC
the traffic in summit races is going to drive me completely crazy it totally destroys the atmosphere of a good summit and i noticed they removed the money and xp you earn at the end of each race 🤦♂️😡

1. PVP lobbies on Playlist tracks. This needs to happen. Like 9 months ago. 2. Custom race editor BUT also custom PUBLIC lobbies where players can use custom races. Never been done before. 3. More competitive bikes. Ride 5 style handling ish.
And playlists are kinda disappointing cause you get every car for free. No earning races. They need the crew 2 ideas where each race is a little more difficult (depending on difficulty) and you upgrade as you go.

I am with you with vanities I want to have the option to buy any vanity and you're right that would be big for revenue. They vanity store should be way bigger. I disagree about the bike they arent horrible they just need lean and proper acceleration. The speed is fine the acceleration is not. Speaking of speed I would love to see electric cars have the true torque of an electric car but the trade off would be the top speed be able to be sustained like a gas engive or hybrid car like real like. Another thing in my dont like category is why does it fell like some cars have a bullldozer affixes in Grand Race and the same cars seem to be able to knock you off the road yet not lose control and stay on the road thats annoying. I do love this update and the little quality of life things they did like they removed the rocks barriers from off some of the Grand Race routes. I also like that the debs listen to the community. I thought I would be bored with this Island by now likehow I got bored with FH5 and that same dusty slice of Mexico but I am not TCM keeps getting better and I literally have to make myself get off this game to get any work done
The traffic after the update has been extremely annoying. The rival races especially seem to have 4x as many AI traffic and the cars are more aggressive. I've had traffic fly out from a side street, turn into the wrong lane (going the wrong way) and hit me. 4 cars across blocking a highway has also been happening.
Crossplay, and private lobbies would be huge. And the competitive stuff you mentioned is great but we have to make sure it's specific and detailed cause they will most assuredly turn it into pay to win and squeeze alot of $ away from competitive players rather than trying to draw in more players
Ok you did mention the crew suggestion so this is what i would do: There would be a menu with a list of crews made by players that up to 50 for example can join. If you wanted to make your own, you would of course be able to name it and make an abbreviation for it and make your own logo and put some other settings like, "invite only join" or "free-join". There could be like a hangout place where you can see everyones cars and there could something where it says the total value of everyones cars which would increase the "crew level". The crew level is basically just the rank of the crew and it can increase and decrease based on different things. There should definitely be a "crew milestone" board where everyone in the crew can work to get these rewards like ingame cash, legend points or crew credits for example. This would be like the 2nd summit and would refresh every week like the summit. There could also be like a leaderboard for this where maybe the top 10 crews get a limited reward or something. There could also be something like a 'rival crew' which refreshes every month, and gives additional milestones that you have to beat before the other crew, where you could do like a head to head crew race. To keep things fair, the 'rival crew' thing would be based on the crew level. theres a lot of more things i would add but i dont want this to be too long
I think it could be high like 1000 but then your more competitive ideas would need tuned or scaled down to make smaller crews have a chance with larger crews. Or keep crews small and allow for more competition, but then all the elites will make powerhouse crews and get all the awards while other above average crews still struggle
Custom Show exclusive rewards should be a part of the Prestige Shop. grey Steel Tire was first Custom Show exclusive reward back in S1 and it is there so we can assume other CS vanities should be the same
For me, regarding about the PvP mode on playlist tracks, I also want to add race modifiers like clean racing or gymkhana to those PvP modes so that players will be motivated to earn more bucks from maximizing those points. Also speaking about race creators, it would be better if they can choose some of the user made events to be featured in weekly events like summits (similar to how Forza Horizon featured 1-3 custom races called Eventlab with rewards, but it gives motivation to set the best record on those tracks) or PvP mode if it got added. Also i want to see an option to save a pro setting on every car that we own so players can experiment on different pro settings without forgetting their previous setting, and that feature will be useful for drift cars
The main thing i want is for a larger focus on the single player. Don't get me wrong, the single player is nice the way it is, but sometimes i do believe the game doesn't focus enough on that. Either it focus on summits or the mp, or it does it in an underwhelming way (like adding some boring playlist and/or making them a paywall). There are multiple ways to make single player better. For example, adding a NG+ (which, as far as i know, no racing game has), adding a custom tournament with multiple races in a row, straight up custom races, etc. They really need to use this opportunity to truly make the game better. Nfs and Forza are hated by everyone, and Solar Crown only made Motorfest more relevant. And considering the state of Ubisoft right now, this is a do or die/now or never situation.
I think the most suggestion after the mirrors are the rims I hope they work on that thing I just can't believe it's that hard to make, also I would like to see another car meet location in Maui so we can spawn sometimes there too ( Houses would be better but I don't dare to even suggest it it's like impossible )
A House would be amazing to spawn in rather than the car meet. Putting your favourite cars, boats and planes in the garage and having to look the amazing view of Hawaii. That was my favourite feature in the Crew 2.

Uff. Man, considering how harsh some people are with... well... *literally any other game,* everyone seem to be happy about the current state of the game (sorta). Specially considering this is a Ubisoft game. But then again, we can always ask for more. This game is good, but it can be better.

Community Races and a Race Creator. They were a good way to farm Gold Parts in TC2. Add the in game ramps and humps. Doesn’t have to be over the top with props like FH4, FH5 and GTAV Online. I’m better with the bikes, they need more of them from different eras. Start with the OG CB750, then include the GS Series, Honda Motocross bikes, old 60’s/70’s BMW, more ATVs.
Some parts of the game seem more ‘glitchy’ since the update. Parts merging is frustrating - rather than letting you click ‘collect new part’ it just freezes every other time. And ST1 doesn’t even allow parts merging at all. Game also completely crashes more than it used to 🥴👍
You're meant to scrap all your 600 parts in Street class, because now you can put 750 parts on Street 1 cars, and it'll automatically detune to 600 - you no longer have to split your street class part collection between two levels...
Unpopular opinion perhaps, I think summits and races in general should include more skill and less major cuts and respawns. Making huge map cuts or respawning on a hard corner is not really a racing “skill” Otherwise, still a solid video and I think you hit all the major issues I have as well.
It's annoying and not helping the new players who just want to race and respawns it spoils the game as does those pesky ghosts of the ones who have surpassed the feats and are visible on screen each time.
@@dokutah7374 I manage platinum either way, but the reset can make a dramatic difference on your threshold to gold vs platinum. It all depends on if there are big track cuts and how you gutter the car on turns. Way too many variables outside of just racing the track as intended. Although based on times and scores, it feels like they want you to exploit the cuts and resets which is really unfortunate. As much as I enjoy the game, it reminds me too much of an arcade style rather than a true racing game.
I also think with the automatic gearbox, when you just chilling, the automatic gearbox should go to higher gears at low speeds (kind of like an auto in comfort mode). This could also use the ps5 triggers perfect cause if you want to put your foot down, it actually feels like an automatic car. (Crazy how they had this in nfs rivals).
Love your suggestions Trigger! I have another one: since they focus so heavily on pve, even with the new rivals, they should really introduce 2 more difficulty levels (6 &7). 5 is way too easy and makes racing the rivals boring... No competition this way in pve.
I think they also should add more text font types and patterns to making liveries, more wheels and I think it would be useful to paint the rims in two colors (the center and the edge separately).
Quality of Life - let me change radio stations at ANY TIME. Like during a race or at the festival. Just two controls (next/previous radio station) that we could map to any controller buttons. Sometimes I start a race and a terrible song starts, so I have to quit the race just to be able to switch stations (or tracks).
I think you should be able to host a grand race and be able to change settings such as time of day or weather I think a grand race at night while it’s storming would be fun as hell lol also not really a change but maybe a nitrous that’s like the black flame candle from hocus pocus to go with my all black cars would be awesome
I Iove this idea I would also like to see you be able to turn on affixes in a custom Grand Race it would be so interesting. Another thing I would like to see are rammers get a slow down penalty to promote better driving
Mentioned, but for me details of customization is in the top 3 of changes they should make! High on the list is a crew vs. crew feature, which would change things up in a good way. I would prefer it as playlist feature, where you can search for other crews to challenge for a series of races (entire playlist). Also I think streamers should have the possiblity to register for 8 slot crews or there is a streamer mode you can sign up for, which addresses their needs. Making freedrive experience more lively with animals, boats, planes, moving cranes, ... & please dump those annoying ghosts. Full crossplay would be a dream!
The way to get special Summit cars it's not fair for new players or non "pro" players like me. It's imposible to get to the platinum (even the gold too). Also, it's really frustrating that those cars are not available to get or purchase after the summit.
If you ain’t getting gold that’s a skill issue, platinum is kinda bullshit because of everyone using skips, but not being able to get gold is just a you thing Platinums been especially bad for the last couple summits because of the resets

@@jackharold8379 ok so first, you should focus on getting your cars maxed out with parts before doing any summit stuff That’s the bare minimum in order to participate Platinum is nearly impossible without using skips, but gold is possible as long as you drive well and do all the races in the summit
It wouldn’t make a difference in the rankings. The fastest players would still drive the fastest but I don’t care either way, if resetting was gone tomorrow it wouldn’t affect the gameplay for me.

I honestly hope some people who work for IVT see this video cause this is exactly how I felt about the new update. It's definitely a HUGE step in the right direction, but it's still lacking what the core community has been asking for and could've been way better if they incorporated the most requested features in this update.
my two main issues with this new update is they still havent changed the background when customizing your car i can never see how my underglows look on my car because the screen is white and they need to make grand races permanently no collision. im tired of getting used as a brake pad for idiots who cannot turn their car

@jsfyxzuf117 thats literally team sports, sometimes your on teams that are great sometimes your on teams that suck, it is what it is. Lesser skilled players can benefit from playing on teams with higher skilled players and learn some things. Also there can be circumstances that make drivers have to decide to help they teammates or stay with the pack and run the risk of having a higher individual finish to get the max points they can, or help get they teammates as many points as possible by helping them and leaving other opponents in the dust.
one thing i think would be good as well is if they added a track maker like they did in the crew (this could make the grand races more different with private hosted lobby tournaments to how they want it to go as well)and i was hopeing the offline mode would be added this update as well
Thanks. I was initially enthusiastic about the crafting but the cost in bucks and parts for merging 3 purple parts is horrendous. I've now given up on merging parts and will just keep grinding them to get the complete gold sets. Re custom events / lobbies. Totally agree.
I’m so happy they added prestige tickets. I’ve gotten every summit car beside the s2k and r34 (was on a holiday). As I’m starting a new job in February I’ll be away from home for three months so I’m happy there’s still a way to get them.
I would like to see a crew motorfest version of the state to state races that are in the crew 2 and what I mean by this is create a playlist of all or just the majority of the grand races, so that way people who either have a bad internet connection or just don't want to deal with the chaos can enjoy the grand races

I kind of like traffic in summits, BUT, it needs to be changed to be server/session seeded, so that everyone experiences the exact same thing. Traffic changes racing lines, and sometimes that demands a higher skill ceiling (I'm saying as someone who's never won a GR/never got platinum in a Summit) but if it's not changing the racing line to be the same for everyone what's the point? Also, they need to give us the ability to set a favorite group of cars. I hate joining a GR and then spending over a minute scrolling through menus to pick whatever random car I want. I'm not a meta sweat who only drives one thing, but I also don't like driving every car in my garage. I feel like a "favorites" category would only be a benefit for everyone. Also +1 to every suggestion about being able to change wheel materials. I love making liveries and customizing cars and man, it sucks if you don't want shiny chrome wheels.
My biggest wish would be to have own houses where you can showcase only cars (maybe 20-30 cars) instead of cars, boats and planes like in the Crew 2. Then you would have 5-7 different houses in different locations (like in Forza). I would also pay 1-3 Million on a house, but just to have the ability to showcase your cars and not just seeing them on the menu with this boring white background …
I liked your crafting idea but I will also say this no matter what the devs make people are always going to find something missing. The thing I like about these devs is they listen. The giigest thing for me is cross play as Alot of my friends have meet ups on PS5 and I am the odd ball on Xbox and cant do cruises with them and our own created races
Definitely rims are a thing: - real designs and brands - change the wideness - change the color of each rim independently - change the color to metallic, matte colors - liveries for rims - change the tire color (not just with prestige objects)
Here's my feedback. Like a microphone hitting the speaker type of feedback. $30 for the Chase Squad Playlist is too damn expensive! They never added the off-line mode like they promised. And when I was trying to finish the Rivals while recording, the game crashed! Not exactly a good start for Year 2.

It is recommended that Player versus Player (PVP) be integrated into playlists. The visual appearance of the Speedo requires an update, as the current design negatively impacts the overall aesthetics of the game. The variety of wheels available should be expanded to include non-chrome options such as matte and standard finishes. The introduction of custom license plates would enhance the personalization experience for players. The limitations on parts and mailbox capacity should be removed, as the current restrictions lack logical reasoning, particularly in the case of the 600pp merge.
Fix controller button mapping - there's a bunch of buttons on my wheel that I can remap, but as soon as I restart the game it just forgets that mapping. Also, don't restrict button remapping just because they've have already been mapped for a different vehicle or for the menu.
They added a lot of cars from the crew 2 that were for platinum summit to purchase. Why can't they add all of them to purchase? I don't understand. Just add a car to the store when summit is run out
Unlocked framerates or 120hz support is absolutely a thing that should be in The Crew at this point. It's 2024, locking games to 60 especially on PC is hilarious
I agree with everything I just personally think as far as the competitive aspect in the game I think they should do like how they did in the crew 2 with the ranked system you start at bronze 4 then work up to plat 1 also not saying they should remove grand races but the layout for pvp on the crew 2 was great the races you done for the story your able to race in pvp we have so many races from playlist in TCM that can be put into pvp races they can also do a 6-8 or 8-10 player lobbies like the crew 2 choose/vote for a race we can all race in maybe choose laps if it’s a circuit race and choose/vote a vehicle category we can use
Yes, this. I play with a wheel and I really don't want to see another wheel on the screen - it's weird. Forza Horizon has an internal view without the wheel.
Race creator will be nice, but I think they're gonna wait until they're done with the full map. Because Maui is likely only the first of two expansions. In the north-west is a third island, and I'll bet my boot that its gonna be Kauai. Once that's here, then we can ask for race creator, but until then, its gonna have to stay in the think tank. For online, just replicate The Crew 1. Use playlist races, give players 3 at random to vote on, and have the race be 4V4, crew vs crew. Maybe they can even re-introduce the king mode, but for essentials, just have the 4v4 setup. Glowing liveries would be awesome, but right now it'd be too soon. They were likely using this update to test them on the rival vehicles just to get the kinks worked out. Can't see them not being a thing in the near future, though I don't see synchronizing the flashing as a feature. Anyhow, here's ten of my suggestions to add: 1. Duplicate livery feature. There is often a time where I'll make a nice livery for a car, that I want to replicate on other vehicles, but the game puts me at an impasse. One, the livery does not fit on other vehicles, and two, if I change it to fit, it'll no longer fit on the first car I applied it to. Just let me duplicate liveries so I can make the same look for different cars. 2. Full vanity shop. No more weekly rotations for vanities, just open the shop right up and let us pick what we want. Secondly, allow players to buy these vanities with the new tickets earned through custom events. 3. Open-world collision. Allow players to disable collisions with other players in the open world. 4. Ghost be gone. Allow players to remove all of the ghosted ai vehicles roaming around the map. It makes things more lively, but it also throws me off a lot of the time. 5. Light tint. Add a new set of tint options for headlights, be it a regular customization option, or a vanity feature. Either way, I want to have some different headlight colour options. Maybe even taillight tinting/dimming options. 6. Community decals. Right now, the game allows you to browse & download full liveries other players have created, but A La Forza or GT, there should also be a page to upload & download individual community-made decals. It'd really fill the gap on official brands in the game, not everyone can make Monster, Sparco, or Gulf Oil logos, and the anime community is always begging to spread their wings in these games. 7. Elimination. One race mode I always love is elimination. Be it PVP or PVE, I'd like to see some elimination races where the last place player is disqualified every few seconds/lap. It always makes for the most intense gameplay. 8. Custom opponents. This one is very far down the list for priorities, but when making custom events, it'd be engaging to fill the opponent roster with your own vehicles. Its something GT7 has only done, but it makes the game worlds more engaging for PVE content. 9. Ghost traffic during Feats. Once you activate a feat, have it so that traffic is ghosted. Don't know how many times a perfect Escape or Slalom run has been ruined by traffic being in the wrong place at the wrong time. 10. Drift & Drag events in PVP. Self-explanitory.
They haven’t added the option to customize iridescent colors. I transferred a lot of cars from 2 over with pearl colors just cause we can’t make them how we want. I’ve got a gray and wine red wide body XJ220 all thanks to Crew 2
Hello, I always do the summit with friends and it is more fun that way for me. I don't thnik it is a good idea to remove the possibility what I suggest is to remove collision and turn off slipstream on summits so we can do it together without the advantages and disadvantages.
Totally agree with how we need more for the competitive community, but Ubisoft always does this. That's why their other title Siege low key died and ik its Ivy Tower but Ubisoft probably has a huge say in the direction of motorfest. Maybe 2025 they'll listen to their entire player base for once.
Was one thing missing to mention: those AI cars are like missiles, they are terrible, they come towards you all of a sudden out of the blue, they simply have to fix it immediately.
Yeah, everything that was mentioned. Plus, I'd really love to be able to make my own iridescent color. You could change at least one of the two colors in TC2, but I don't even go there in TCM. There is only one or two usable colors there (side note, I've seen various iridescent colors in the custom show, anyone knows how they are done?). Also the livery editor camera is just junk. It's almost impossible to align the liveries between front/back and the sides. But I have at least some hope here, as I was complaining once about the rotation of the liveries and impossibility to achieve even numbers (e.g. 89,9 or 90,1 instead of 90 degrees) and a couple of weeks after that, it seems to be fixed. Now we just need the same precision for location/moving and sizing. And we need also transparent gradient shapes and masks too.
Hey this great content/ideas. Maybe, in your next update on this topic, you could bring up people who just have cars and want to drive them around occasionally, w/out all of the competitiveness. Basically, something like those scavenger hunts from crew2. Thanks

Please fix the bikes!! I'm a bike user, and its a challenge. But they are fun to mess around with! Like trigger said, either higher top speed or better acceleration. New season is a W though!
Personally i want TC2's car filter back, i hate that it pops a new menu and resets the filters when you switch parts, and deletes the filter again when you finished. Part management in TC2 is so easy, open summit, look at race, open menu, select filter, swap, do race, swap back, delete filter. I really don't see how they thought it was a good idea, the cars aren't even in a specific order...
I really like the grand races but we definetly need more PvP content. Also there should be proper way to see your grand race or PvP stats. Maybe even showcase it. Speaking of showcase there should be way to showcase your cars in your house similar to Test drive. Stancing cars and rims other than chrome is what we definetly need.
Solo modifier for summits....hm... make it a solo summit and simultaniously a crew summit where you are only allowed to play with a crew. And you can choose which one you want to register for. Then again, I would love to see actual clans/crews in-game and usage of such for rival-related scoreboards.
In my opinion they need to make it to where manual and automatic have the same speed/acceleration bc Manual isn't for everyone and I find it unfair that people who use manual get a speed/acceleration boost
I definitely agree about the boats in GR, they are desperately needed and in fact we're implied to be at launch but still hasn't shown up. However I vehemently disagree about boosted sets, we don't need them. The parts being more balanced this time around is great. What needs more attention is class balance, they are way too power crept and feel you have to be forced to use meta vehicles. I see people complain about the cento in hypercar all the time, so we definitely need a balance revision for all classes (including boats and planes) Crossplay is definitely needed full stop however. Yo! Solid video! I’m agreeing with a lot of the ideas myself. On the boosted parts as mentioned, I think I misinterpreted the new quality of life. It reads as such: [New] RPG Crafting: possibility to merge perf parts to obtain higher tier parts + 2 bonus sets can now be applied, gradual sets can be made with 3 parts to recieve a half bonus. What are your thoughts on this? Also, have we seen when/if prestige tickets will be reset and when the actual items in the prestige store will reset?
The ability to delete photos in the gallery would be nice... I also think some brands are wayyy over-represented (like Chevrolet, or Porsche), whereas some are so under-represented (like Aston Martin) so seeing some more variety would be great for me personally. Overall, though, the variety in TCM is pretty good, so can't complain too much.
I would say the same i told on Discord of Ubisoft Motorfest... more pvp content, thay add a new island and instead stay with the best path of previous session they stick to the medium path that tbh i dont like at all, i dont know why monster rally and motocross does exist, phisics are not good yet to be competin on that, the could add 8v8, better paths and a ranked would be insane to the players that love grind on pvp. I would say more optimization for the game on pc... and deff i want to add friends on Motorfest but it start lagging, this has no sense at all on having a crew and friends to play, rather than sniping on GR. They added no collision, alright but, it appears 1/5 playlist. And please like you said, we need more wheels, i want to lower my car either, more customization in general, good point bro. We need to sell cars...I'm not a big fan of collecting 600 cars. The option to set multiple cars as your favorite would be nice and not to mention a house to showcase your top 20 cars....
I know this is wishful thinking, but I'd personally love to see an increase in traffic density. I did one full run from the Motorsport HQ to the 'Welcome to Maui' sign without seeing a single AI traffic... WHAT. Secondly, sizes need to get bigger, because 8 people is simply not enough.

What this game needs imo is crossplay thats let you play with friends. Not enough people talk about it, but its a huge issue when they sold this game promising crossplay. And when people get excited about crossplay i promise you the reason why is playing with friends. Playing the game by myself gets old
Boosted parts is not a good idea, imo, that'll split up the community : those that grind will have the parts, others will not. But what they coulda done is give us the option to choose the Set Bonus when crafting, ex. you're missing one Score Breaker part : If we put in 3 purple or even 3 gold parts, we should be able to select the Set Bonus for that part, so we always get what we are looking for. Now it's still a lottery, with 7 Set Bonus in the game, at the moment, crafting gives you only a 14% chance of getting what you want, that's just too low and a waste of time / parts. As with many things in this update, decent ideas which have been executed pretty poorly.
The things they need to add in the future is a house like in the Crew 2 for us to spawn rather than the car meet and putting our favourite cars in the garage, the ability to change wheel colour materials, adding more wheels, let us customise our license plates, let us pick which vehicle class to pick in PVP rather this random generator, expand on the legend points.

besides the ones you explained in the video, I would add:
-allow audio signatures to be combined: one engine audio with a kit, or two kits on stock engine....
-more engine swap vanities
-allow to revert interiors to stock color
-special modifiers from grand races and pvps: no collisions, no nitrous, infinite nitro, choose one bonus set for everyone [loot digger, bucks magnet, xp magnet]
-implement the chase mechanic into the demolition race: instead of a demo derby royale, every now and then make chase squad team hunt down runners
-create a system that converts any currency into other currency [example: pay 50k bucks to get 50k crew credits or tickets
-special settings in pro settings: when you're adjusting the settings, it'll be nice to also set driving assists on that specific car [traction control, steering deadzone, etc] and maybe have 2 or 3 save slots so you can save your pro settings and don't have to screenshot them every time
Remove corner resets - that's just stupid trick, this is a racing game you are supposed to take corners not skip them. Remove traffic in summit events, repeating feat 30x times just because AI decides to stop on your path gets boring really fast, alternatively they can create one traffic "preset" so everyone has exacly the same traffic.

I fully agree. They missed a lot of features that we were expecting they would add. They are too obsessed with making Playlists, not features.

I am with you with vanities I want to have the option to buy any vanity and you're right that would be big for revenue. They vanity store should be way bigger. I disagree about the bike they arent horrible they just need lean and proper acceleration. The speed is fine the acceleration is not. Speaking of speed I would love to see electric cars have the true torque of an electric car but the trade off would be the top speed be able to be sustained like a gas engive or hybrid car like real like. Another thing in my dont like category is why does it fell like some cars have a bullldozer affixes in Grand Race and the same cars seem to be able to knock you off the road yet not lose control and stay on the road thats annoying. I do love this update and the little quality of life things they did like they removed the rocks barriers from off some of the Grand Race routes. I also like that the debs listen to the community. I thought I would be bored with this Island by now likehow I got bored with FH5 and that same dusty slice of Mexico but I am not TCM keeps getting better and I literally have to make myself get off this game to get any work done
The traffic after the update has been extremely annoying. The rival races especially seem to have 4x as many AI traffic and the cars are more aggressive. I've had traffic fly out from a side street, turn into the wrong lane (going the wrong way) and hit me. 4 cars across blocking a highway has also been happening.
Dude, traffic is the worst. They always stop, complete stop, in the ideal racing path. It's ridiculous.
Crossplay, and private lobbies would be huge. And the competitive stuff you mentioned is great but we have to make sure it's specific and detailed cause they will most assuredly turn it into pay to win and squeeze alot of $ away from competitive players rather than trying to draw in more players
Ok you did mention the crew suggestion so this is what i would do: There would be a menu with a list of crews made by players that up to 50 for example can join. If you wanted to make your own, you would of course be able to name it and make an abbreviation for it and make your own logo and put some other settings like, "invite only join" or "free-join". There could be like a hangout place where you can see everyones cars and there could something where it says the total value of everyones cars which would increase the "crew level". The crew level is basically just the rank of the crew and it can increase and decrease based on different things. There should definitely be a "crew milestone" board where everyone in the crew can work to get these rewards like ingame cash, legend points or crew credits for example. This would be like the 2nd summit and would refresh every week like the summit. There could also be like a leaderboard for this where maybe the top 10 crews get a limited reward or something. There could also be something like a 'rival crew' which refreshes every month, and gives additional milestones that you have to beat before the other crew, where you could do like a head to head crew race. To keep things fair, the 'rival crew' thing would be based on the crew level. theres a lot of more things i would add but i dont want this to be too long
The crew member limit needs to be at least a thousand imo. 50 is way to small. Or do you mean the total number of crews?

I think it could be high like 1000 but then your more competitive ideas would need tuned or scaled down to make smaller crews have a chance with larger crews. Or keep crews small and allow for more competition, but then all the elites will make powerhouse crews and get all the awards while other above average crews still struggle
Custom Show exclusive rewards should be a part of the Prestige Shop. grey Steel Tire was first Custom Show exclusive reward back in S1 and it is there so we can assume other CS vanities should be the same
For me, regarding about the PvP mode on playlist tracks, I also want to add race modifiers like clean racing or gymkhana to those PvP modes so that players will be motivated to earn more bucks from maximizing those points. Also speaking about race creators, it would be better if they can choose some of the user made events to be featured in weekly events like summits (similar to how Forza Horizon featured 1-3 custom races called Eventlab with rewards, but it gives motivation to set the best record on those tracks) or PvP mode if it got added.
Also i want to see an option to save a pro setting on every car that we own so players can experiment on different pro settings without forgetting their previous setting, and that feature will be useful for drift cars
The main thing i want is for a larger focus on the single player. Don't get me wrong, the single player is nice the way it is, but sometimes i do believe the game doesn't focus enough on that. Either it focus on summits or the mp, or it does it in an underwhelming way (like adding some boring playlist and/or making them a paywall).
There are multiple ways to make single player better. For example, adding a NG+ (which, as far as i know, no racing game has), adding a custom tournament with multiple races in a row, straight up custom races, etc.
They really need to use this opportunity to truly make the game better. Nfs and Forza are hated by everyone, and Solar Crown only made Motorfest more relevant. And considering the state of Ubisoft right now, this is a do or die/now or never situation.
I think the most suggestion after the mirrors are the rims I hope they work on that thing I just can't believe it's that hard to make, also I would like to see another car meet location in Maui so we can spawn sometimes there too ( Houses would be better but I don't dare to even suggest it it's like impossible )
A House would be amazing to spawn in rather than the car meet. Putting your favourite cars, boats and planes in the garage and having to look the amazing view of Hawaii. That was my favourite feature in the Crew 2.
Yeah they already have matte colored rims in the game so idk why they don’t just make it available to the players.

in TC2. Add the in game ramps and humps. Doesn’t have to be over the top with

Some parts of the game seem more ‘glitchy’ since the update. Parts merging is frustrating - rather than letting you click ‘collect new part’ it just freezes every other time. And ST1 doesn’t even allow parts merging at all. Game also completely crashes more than it used to 🥴👍
You're meant to scrap all your 600 parts in Street class, because now you can put 750 parts on Street 1 cars, and it'll automatically detune to 600 - you no longer have to split your street class part collection between two levels...
Unpopular opinion perhaps, I think summits and races in general should include more skill and less major cuts and respawns. Making huge map cuts or respawning on a hard corner is not really a racing “skill” Otherwise, still a solid video and I think you hit all the major issues I have as well.
Hard resets should be a +2 sec penalty.

@@dokutah7374 I manage platinum either way, but the reset can make a dramatic difference on your threshold to gold vs platinum. It all depends on if there are big track cuts and how you gutter the car on turns. Way too many variables outside of just racing the track as intended. Although based on times and scores, it feels like they want you to exploit the cuts and resets which is really unfortunate. As much as I enjoy the game, it reminds me too much of an arcade style rather than a true racing game.
I also think with the automatic gearbox, when you just chilling, the automatic gearbox should go to higher gears at low speeds (kind of like an auto in comfort mode). This could also use the ps5 triggers perfect cause if you want to put your foot down, it actually feels like an automatic car. (Crazy how they had this in nfs rivals).
Love your suggestions Trigger! I have another one: since they focus so heavily on pve, even with the new rivals, they should really introduce 2 more difficulty levels (6 &7). 5 is way too easy and makes racing the rivals boring... No competition this way in pve.

I think they also should add more text font types and patterns to making liveries, more wheels and I think it would be useful to paint the rims in two colors (the center and the edge separately).
Vanity gauges would be cool and the ability to make your gauge smaller or move it when you're in cockpit view so you can see the mirror
Sometimes the "world" feels barren people de-sync/cycle in/out too much. They should merge people into worlds more so it feels more "alive"
Quality of Life - let me change radio stations at ANY TIME. Like during a race or at the festival. Just two controls (next/previous radio station) that we could map to any controller buttons.
Sometimes I start a race and a terrible song starts, so I have to quit the race just to be able to switch stations (or tracks).
I think you should be able to host a grand race and be able to change settings such as time of day or weather I think a grand race at night while it’s storming would be fun as hell lol also not really a change but maybe a nitrous that’s like the black flame candle from hocus pocus to go with my all black cars would be awesome

High on the list is a crew vs. crew feature, which would change things up in a good way. I would prefer it as playlist feature, where you can search for other crews to challenge for a series of races (entire playlist).
Also I think streamers should have the possiblity to register for 8 slot crews or there is a streamer mode you can sign up for, which addresses their needs.
Making freedrive experience more lively with animals, boats, planes, moving cranes, ... & please dump those annoying ghosts. Full crossplay would be a dream!
The way to get special Summit cars it's not fair for new players or non "pro" players like me. It's imposible to get to the platinum (even the gold too). Also, it's really frustrating that those cars are not available to get or purchase after the summit.
They just added prestige tickets for that reason. Do some custom races & earn them!
If you ain’t getting gold that’s a skill issue, platinum is kinda bullshit because of everyone using skips, but not being able to get gold is just a you thing

Platinum is nearly impossible without using skips, but gold is possible as long as you drive well and do all the races in the summit

It wouldn’t make a difference in the rankings. The fastest players would still drive the fastest but I don’t care either way, if resetting was gone tomorrow it wouldn’t affect the gameplay for me.

I honestly hope some people who work for IVT see this video cause this is exactly how I felt about the new update. It's definitely a HUGE step in the right direction, but it's still lacking what the core community has been asking for and could've been way better if they incorporated the most requested features in this update.
We need main stage rewards to comeback like vanities or animation in the pause menu and victory animations and clothes, pieces of clothes,etc.
my two main issues with this new update is they still havent changed the background when customizing your car i can never see how my underglows look on my car because the screen is white and they need to make grand races permanently no collision. im tired of getting used as a brake pad for idiots who cannot turn their car

@jsfyxzuf117 thats literally team sports, sometimes your on teams that are great sometimes your on teams that suck, it is what it is. Lesser skilled players can benefit from playing on teams with higher skilled players and learn some things. Also there can be circumstances that make drivers have to decide to help they teammates or stay with the pack and run the risk of having a higher individual finish to get the max points they can, or help get they teammates as many points as possible by helping them and leaving other opponents in the dust.
one thing i think would be good as well is if they added a track maker like they did in the crew (this could make the grand races more different with private hosted lobby tournaments to how they want it to go as well)and i was hopeing the offline mode would be added this update as well
Thanks. I was initially enthusiastic about the crafting but the cost in bucks and parts for merging 3 purple parts is horrendous. I've now given up on merging parts and will just keep grinding them to get the complete gold sets.

I’m so happy they added prestige tickets. I’ve gotten every summit car beside the s2k and r34 (was on a holiday). As I’m starting a new job in February I’ll be away from home for three months so I’m happy there’s still a way to get them.
I would like to see a crew motorfest version of the state to state races that are in the crew 2 and what I mean by this is create a playlist of all or just the majority of the grand races, so that way people who either have a bad internet connection or just don't want to deal with the chaos can enjoy the grand races

I kind of like traffic in summits, BUT, it needs to be changed to be server/session seeded, so that everyone experiences the exact same thing. Traffic changes racing lines, and sometimes that demands a higher skill ceiling (I'm saying as someone who's never won a GR/never got platinum in a Summit) but if it's not changing the racing line to be the same for everyone what's the point?
Also, they need to give us the ability to set a favorite group of cars. I hate joining a GR and then spending over a minute scrolling through menus to pick whatever random car I want. I'm not a meta sweat who only drives one thing, but I also don't like driving every car in my garage. I feel like a "favorites" category would only be a benefit for everyone.
Also +1 to every suggestion about being able to change wheel materials. I love making liveries and customizing cars and man, it sucks if you don't want shiny chrome wheels.
My biggest wish would be to have own houses where you can showcase only cars (maybe 20-30 cars) instead of cars, boats and planes like in the Crew 2. Then you would have 5-7 different houses in different locations (like in Forza). I would also pay 1-3 Million on a house, but just to have the ability to showcase your cars and not just seeing them on the menu with this boring white background …
I liked your crafting idea but I will also say this no matter what the devs make people are always going to find something missing. The thing I like about these devs is they listen. The giigest thing for me is cross play as Alot of my friends have meet ups on PS5 and I am the odd ball on Xbox and cant do cruises with them and our own created races
Definitely rims are a thing:
- real designs and brands
- change the wideness
- change the color of each rim independently
- change the color to metallic, matte colors
- liveries for rims
- change the tire color (not just with prestige objects)
Here's my feedback. Like a microphone hitting the speaker type of feedback. $30 for the Chase Squad Playlist is too damn expensive! They never added the off-line mode like they promised. And when I was trying to finish the Rivals while recording, the game crashed! Not exactly a good start for Year 2.

The limitations on parts and mailbox capacity should be removed, as the current restrictions lack logical reasoning, particularly in the case of the 600pp merge.
Fix controller button mapping - there's a bunch of buttons on my wheel that I can remap, but as soon as I restart the game it just forgets that mapping.
Also, don't restrict button remapping just because they've have already been mapped for a different vehicle or for the menu.
They added a lot of cars from the crew 2 that were for platinum summit to purchase. Why can't they add all of them to purchase? I don't understand. Just add a car to the store when summit is run out

I agree with everything I just personally think as far as the competitive aspect in the game I think they should do like how they did in the crew 2 with the ranked system you start at bronze 4 then work up to plat 1 also not saying they should remove grand races but the layout for pvp on the crew 2 was great the races you done for the story your able to race in pvp we have so many races from playlist in TCM that can be put into pvp races they can also do a 6-8 or 8-10 player lobbies like the crew 2 choose/vote for a race we can all race in maybe choose laps if it’s a circuit race and choose/vote a vehicle category we can use

Love the FOV idea and would love them to add a cockpit camera angle without the steering wheel. That would be really nice for wheel players
Yes, this. I play with a wheel and I really don't want to see another wheel on the screen - it's weird. Forza Horizon has an internal view without the wheel.
Race creator will be nice, but I think they're gonna wait until they're done with the full map. Because Maui is likely only the first of two expansions. In the north-west is a third island, and I'll bet my boot that its gonna be Kauai. Once that's here, then we can ask for race creator, but until then, its gonna have to stay in the think tank.
For online, just replicate The Crew 1. Use playlist races, give players 3 at random to vote on, and have the race be 4V4, crew vs crew. Maybe they can even re-introduce the king mode, but for essentials, just have the 4v4 setup.
Glowing liveries would be awesome, but right now it'd be too soon. They were likely using this update to test them on the rival vehicles just to get the kinks worked out. Can't see them not being a thing in the near future, though I don't see synchronizing the flashing as a feature.
Anyhow, here's ten of my suggestions to add:
1. Duplicate livery feature. There is often a time where I'll make a nice livery for a car, that I want to replicate on other vehicles, but the game puts me at an impasse. One, the livery does not fit on other vehicles, and two, if I change it to fit, it'll no longer fit on the first car I applied it to. Just let me duplicate liveries so I can make the same look for different cars.
2. Full vanity shop. No more weekly rotations for vanities, just open the shop right up and let us pick what we want. Secondly, allow players to buy these vanities with the new tickets earned through custom events.
3. Open-world collision. Allow players to disable collisions with other players in the open world.
4. Ghost be gone. Allow players to remove all of the ghosted ai vehicles roaming around the map. It makes things more lively, but it also throws me off a lot of the time.
5. Light tint. Add a new set of tint options for headlights, be it a regular customization option, or a vanity feature. Either way, I want to have some different headlight colour options. Maybe even taillight tinting/dimming options.
6. Community decals. Right now, the game allows you to browse & download full liveries other players have created, but A La Forza or GT, there should also be a page to upload & download individual community-made decals. It'd really fill the gap on official brands in the game, not everyone can make Monster, Sparco, or Gulf Oil logos, and the anime community is always begging to spread their wings in these games.
7. Elimination. One race mode I always love is elimination. Be it PVP or PVE, I'd like to see some elimination races where the last place player is disqualified every few seconds/lap. It always makes for the most intense gameplay.
8. Custom opponents. This one is very far down the list for priorities, but when making custom events, it'd be engaging to fill the opponent roster with your own vehicles. Its something GT7 has only done, but it makes the game worlds more engaging for PVE content.
9. Ghost traffic during Feats. Once you activate a feat, have it so that traffic is ghosted. Don't know how many times a perfect Escape or Slalom run has been ruined by traffic being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
10. Drift & Drag events in PVP. Self-explanitory.
The solo summits is kind of a stupid idea. Just disable slip stream for summits, done.🤷🏻♂️

They haven’t added the option to customize iridescent colors. I transferred a lot of cars from 2 over with pearl colors just cause we can’t make them how we want. I’ve got a gray and wine red wide body XJ220 all thanks to Crew 2
Hello, I always do the summit with friends and it is more fun that way for me. I don't thnik it is a good idea to remove the possibility what I suggest is to remove collision and turn off slipstream on summits so we can do it together without the advantages and disadvantages.

Totally agree with how we need more for the competitive community, but Ubisoft always does this. That's why their other title Siege low key died and ik its Ivy Tower but Ubisoft probably has a huge say in the direction of motorfest. Maybe 2025 they'll listen to their entire player base for once.
Was one thing missing to mention: those AI cars are like missiles, they are terrible, they come towards you all of a sudden out of the blue, they simply have to fix it immediately.
Yeah, everything that was mentioned. Plus, I'd really love to be able to make my own iridescent color. You could change at least one of the two colors in TC2, but I don't even go there in TCM. There is only one or two usable colors there (side note, I've seen various iridescent colors in the custom show, anyone knows how they are done?).
Also the livery editor camera is just junk. It's almost impossible to align the liveries between front/back and the sides. But I have at least some hope here, as I was complaining once about the rotation of the liveries and impossibility to achieve even numbers (e.g. 89,9 or 90,1 instead of 90 degrees) and a couple of weeks after that, it seems to be fixed. Now we just need the same precision for location/moving and sizing.
And we need also transparent gradient shapes and masks too.

Please fix the bikes!! I'm a bike user, and its a challenge. But they are fun to mess around with! Like trigger said, either higher top speed or better acceleration. New season is a W though!
Personally i want TC2's car filter back, i hate that it pops a new menu and resets the filters when you switch parts, and deletes the filter again when you finished.
Part management in TC2 is so easy, open summit, look at race, open menu, select filter, swap, do race, swap back, delete filter.
I really don't see how they thought it was a good idea, the cars aren't even in a specific order...
I really like the grand races but we definetly need more PvP content. Also there should be proper way to see your grand race or PvP stats. Maybe even showcase it. Speaking of showcase there should be way to showcase your cars in your house similar to Test drive. Stancing cars and rims other than chrome is what we definetly need.
Solo modifier for summits....hm... make it a solo summit and simultaniously a crew summit where you are only allowed to play with a crew. And you can choose which one you want to register for. Then again, I would love to see actual clans/crews in-game and usage of such for rival-related scoreboards.
In my opinion they need to make it to where manual and automatic have the same speed/acceleration bc Manual isn't for everyone and I find it unfair that people who use manual get a speed/acceleration boost

I definitely agree about the boats in GR, they are desperately needed and in fact we're implied to be at launch but still hasn't shown up.
However I vehemently disagree about boosted sets, we don't need them. The parts being more balanced this time around is great.
What needs more attention is class balance, they are way too power crept and feel you have to be forced to use meta vehicles. I see people complain about the cento in hypercar all the time, so we definitely need a balance revision for all classes (including boats and planes)
Crossplay is definitely needed full stop however. That I agree.

On the boosted parts as mentioned, I think I misinterpreted the new quality of life. It reads as such: [New] RPG Crafting: possibility to merge perf parts to obtain higher tier parts + 2 bonus sets can now be applied, gradual sets can be made with 3 parts to recieve a half bonus.
What are your thoughts on this? Also, have we seen when/if prestige tickets will be reset and when the actual items in the prestige store will reset?
The ability to delete photos in the gallery would be nice...
I also think some brands are wayyy over-represented (like Chevrolet, or Porsche), whereas some are so under-represented (like Aston Martin) so seeing some more variety would be great for me personally. Overall, though, the variety in TCM is pretty good, so can't complain too much.
I would say the same i told on Discord of Ubisoft Motorfest... more pvp content, thay add a new island and instead stay with the best path of previous session they stick to the medium path that tbh i dont like at all, i dont know why monster rally and motocross does exist, phisics are not good yet to be competin on that, the could add 8v8, better paths and a ranked would be insane to the players that love grind on pvp.
I would say more optimization for the game on pc... and deff i want to add friends on Motorfest but it start lagging, this has no sense at all on having a crew and friends to play, rather than sniping on GR.
They added no collision, alright but, it appears 1/5 playlist.

We need to sell cars...I'm not a big fan of collecting 600 cars. The option to set multiple cars as your favorite would be nice and not to mention a house to showcase your top 20 cars....
They really need to put crossplay into the entire game, not just for the Grand Races
I know this is wishful thinking, but I'd personally love to see an increase in traffic density. I did one full run from the Motorsport HQ to the 'Welcome to Maui' sign without seeing a single AI traffic... WHAT. Secondly, sizes need to get bigger, because 8 people is simply not enough.
One thing that's broken in the update or maybe I just didn't figure it out is the ST1 level 600 loot parts cant be merged like all the other types/tiers

What this game needs imo is crossplay thats let you play with friends. Not enough people talk about it, but its a huge issue when they sold this game promising crossplay. And when people get excited about crossplay i promise you the reason why is playing with friends. Playing the game by myself gets old

Boosted parts is not a good idea, imo, that'll split up the community : those that grind will have the parts, others will not. But what they coulda done is give us the option to choose the Set Bonus when crafting, ex. you're missing one Score Breaker part : If we put in 3 purple or even 3 gold parts, we should be able to select the Set Bonus for that part, so we always get what we are looking for. Now it's still a lottery, with 7 Set Bonus in the game, at the moment, crafting gives you only a 14% chance of getting what you want, that's just too low and a waste of time / parts. As with many things in this update, decent ideas which have been executed pretty poorly.
