I would check back on tickets closer to the show. The Pittsburgh show had tickets as low as like $60 (probably before fees) and even a couple floor seats in the front sections sub $200. Just had to keep checking because they went so fast
@@mattkelly7102yeah, I didn't pay too bad of prices for tickets for Detroit. They're decent but not premium seats. I got them the day they went on sale and was in line before 10am. Paid around 100 per ticket after fees. I don't understand all of the complaints about the ticket prices being too high. I think people either slept on them too long or were delusional to think they would be much cheaper for their last ever tour in the inflation market of everything.
This is easily in my Top 5 of Aerosmith songs. I'll be headed to the Montreal show in late January. Can't wait. Seen them many many times...but not in a while. Figured I had to do it one more time.
The first four records in particular, love the old stuff. Great way to go out. , with the first, and best stuff. Hard to believe how long it's been. We , who know and love this stuff, are about done here. See you all soon!
True entertainers that love their fans! They always acknowledge all of their fans even in the upper decks. I've seen them several times. They always sound just as good (or better) live than they do on their studio albums. I can only say that about a handful of bands.
I think the excuses for Kramer's absence are BS. There is probably bad blood still brewing there. And it's a real shame. I'd bet that Kramer is capable of playing an entire set.
Any of you who mentions their age is no member of the blue army. They gave and gave for 50 years and we were LUCKY we had them grinding it out that long.
Still have ALL MY CONCERT TICKETS FROM THE 70's on a corkboard! Foghat & Aerosmith at the New Haven Colosseum , ZzTop at Waterbury Palace, Lynyrd Skynyrd! That's when concerts were fun! No cell phones just a good buzz & GREAT MUSIC ❤🎶
Aerosmith & Nazareth was my first concert 🎶 I was 13 …. Just turned 55 share the same B-day as Joe Perry . Tickets were $12… oh my those were days of real rock bands . My god, the shows I have attended in the times are so priceless to me . This generation will never know . 😢
Saw them in 1997 and they played forever and they tired out the whole crowd… the energy just went up… and I was just standing there the whole time with my mouth on the floor and kind of naturally dazed
AEROSMITH has been the soundtrack of my life since the 80’s when I was just a boy. I’ve never seen them live, and I think I missed that 7:30 train… Tyler is 75 now (Sept 2023). Nevertheless, this band is legendary! Their music will last forever. They have a unique sound and style, and easy to identify! Life comes and the years pass by so quickly. Grateful to have been a child of the 80’s. What has happened to the world since the dawn of the internet has been amazing, as well as incredibly destructive to modern children. I play AEROSMITH to remind me of better days.
I second that regarding kids today. I grew up in the 60's/70's. Kids today have no idea what a awesome time they missed. Our music will never die. Theirs, I don't know about that. 😂
First time I saw Aerosmith was sometime in the 80s... Guns'n'roses was the opening act and I remember Steven Tyler ended up in the crowd brawling with a security guard (poplar Creek in the Chicago suburbs)
Saw them in the 80's an AWESOME 30th birthday present! Too ridiculously overpriced. Love them, but not $1,000 a ticket, love them. Told my husband to just buy the Album when it comes out.
Yeah, but the price of a new home was only about $400 back then. Not that I’m disagreeing with your assessment, but everyone uses backing tracks. I don’t like it, but seriously everyone uses them. Every single band.
Not sure what’s going on with Steven? Watched a bunch of these so far and he is butchering lyrics, looking at the monitor and keeps pointing for help to the three behind him? WTH?
THEIR OLD!! And Joe Perry’s playing is completely out of tone, out of step, and out of existence. They need to all retire with their $200 million each net worth
Joey Kramer was dismissed from touring. Brad Whitford is there, the camera man just focused on Steve and Joe. You barely see Tom but a few times in this video. You see Brad at the end on Stage Right switching out guitars.
Tyler’s voice still really good, but the age is showing for sure…a band definitely past their prime trying hard to get through these shows and call it a day…
Their prime is over indeed. But they still nailed it when the fire is in the hole every now and then. Considering their age ( around 75?) and their lifestyle back in the 70/80s it amazes me how vital it still sounds and how Steven and Joe delivers it onstage. Can’t hardly remember a band at this stage doing it that well. Saw the Stones last year ( saw them several times before in the 20th century just like Aerosmith ) and Jagger is unbelievable in a good shape, physical and vocal. But Keith is struggling his age, Ron is doing his job pretty well. But apart from those 2, wich does? The Who perhaps, but there are only 2 left. Golden Earring did until recently but quit in 2021 after 60 years of service due to the diagnose of the terrible ALS disease for their guitarplayer. Although they were not as brilliant anymore as in the 70/80/90s they knew how to deliver in their 70+ age. We never knew how this acts turned out to be when they are 70/80 years old. That book hasn’t been written in our mankind, but it is now by this band for example. I preferred the younger version also but and will treaure the moments I saw these acts during those haydays, but they still can deliver!
@@haythijs all good (and valid) points…Personally, Keith Richards (a guitar hero of mine) is at a point where his playing is embarrassing. Ronnie too, is a shell of his former self…
past their prime for sure. they still rippin these stages though. Stevens voice is still stellar & joe shreds that guitar exactly the same as he always has!
@@tajvida8710 as a band or unit, I preferred Aerosmith in these setting more and they are somewhere closer to their prime or corn than the Stones are right now. To me, they deliver a more Aerosmith package now than the Stones are doing it during the last tour. With Charlies passing, there is something different. Although Aerosmith are dealing something similiar now Joey isn’t playing his drums… With all respect to the Stones offcourse, and I liked the concert last year in Amsterdam. There is wunderfull a treasure in that bands legacy, still love to hear or see their old stuff. Therefore I’m some kind of happy in a strange way that my favourite band Golden Earring immediately quited their show when George Kooymans was diagnosed with ALS. The other 3 guys were very clear in that statement, without him there is no band anymore...“If 1 of us is falling down, we all are falling down”. Nevertheless love Aeromsith for doing their thing. They rule!
@YouDontKnowMusic what's she got to do with 75 year old man who can't get the job done have to do with it. There are plenty of older musicians who can and are still performing well today! But unfortunately imo Tyler cant
Not only do they need to retire I can’t believe people pay good money to go see them . I paid $15.00 to see them at Pittsburgh Civic Arena in 1982 and they were 200 times better than the shit they’re playing now. and Joe Perry who can’t even remember any of his guitar solos and is completely out of tune and out of step with the rest of the band. 😖
I was thinking the same thing. Joe Perry’s guitar solo was completely out of step with the rest of the song not to mention sloppy and not matching the original guitar solo from the album. These guys are weak...!
Not only out of tune, but Joe Perry is completely out of step. Instead of switching guitars right before a guitar solo he should wear the same guitar throughout the whole song. It’s embarrassing to watch this guy sometimes....🤭
