- This episode aired during GMA's Eleksyon 2010 special coverage during the 2010 presidential elections. This was also the first time that the partial/unofficial results from the automated counting was shown.
Emil Sumangil live in Abra for 2007 and 2010 Elections. now, he's one of the anchors of the newscast. can't wait for his first election coverage as an anchor next year.

Ilan pa sa mga kinalakhan kong reporters dito are now living their lives outside GMA. Nasa GMA pa rin naman ang ilan sa kanila but have since focused on studio work (like Connie Sison) or nag migrate na rin sa DZBB Super Radyo (like Lala Roque, although pasulpot-sulpot pa rin sa TV paminsan-minsan sa mga news bulletins).
Late ko na lang din narealize that Lei Alviz has already left the network last year and might have retired from the industry na rin.
Si Dano Tingcungco, clean shave pa hehehe.
And of course, Cesar Apolinario and Mike Enriquez noong buhay pa sila.
Isama mo pa yung mga dating reporter na ngayo'y iniwan ang pamamahayag para maging piloto tulad ni Steeeve Dailisan at ang mga reporters na bumakod sa kabilang istasyon (Sherrie Ann Torres na nasa ABS-CBN na ngayon)

Soon after, ilan sa mga reporters diyan ay naging anchors na rin sa mga Election coverages like Kara David and Susan Enriquez. Noong E22, we finally get to see Raffy Tima, Mariz Umali, and Maki Pulido as anchors but graveyard shift nga lang since nasa field pa rin sila (within Metro Manila lang) noong voting hours.
Joseph Morong was also an anchor noong E13 which is the first and only time he did sa isang Election Coverage. Sana maconsider siya ulit next year which will also be the first time for Emil Sumangil (not counting the E19 edition of his now defunct newscast, News TV Quick Response Team).
Nakakamiss din pala yung mga simpleng banat ni Mike pag ganitong coverage.

Well, that's time na hinihintay namin yung results ng elections (my late grandma voted for Erap for president).
Sayang yung Vice Presidential run dito ni Mar Roxas. He led all the surveys (by double digit) throughout the campaign, except in the final week of the campaign kung saan nag tie sila ni then-Mayor Jojo Binay at 37% in SWS Survey. Naging dark horse si Binay that time, imagine most of the time Number 3 sya sa mga surveys then he overtakes Senator Legarda at Number 2 spot in the late April then tied Senator Roxas at Number 1 spot in the first week of May and eventually won the Vice Presidential race during election. Madami din kasi nag Noy-Bi (Noynoy-Binay) that time dahil sa close relationship nya (Binay) sa mga Aquino.
Momentum ang dahilan. Considering Binay's record as the local chief executive in Makati, that's why he won.
Say what you want against GMA's hologram effect, but they were able to execute it really well. Hindi tulad ng live AR ng ABS-CBN Halalan 2010 na madumi at madalas himdi maexecute nang maayos.
To be fair with ABS-CBN, they've become experts in the AR field after Halalan 2010. Yung AR ng GMA Eeksyon 2013 at 2016, hindi malinis. Gumagalaw pag nagpapan o nagzu-zoom ang camera. Naging malinis lang noong 2019.
Eto din yung time na nagpapatagisan ang ABS at GMA with their upgraded broadcast coverage particularly sa overlay graphics, touch screen and hologram interactions
VizRT yung gamit ng GMA. Habang ORAD naman sa ABS-CBN at TV5.

Really shows you the power of automation, lalo na sa ganitong mga eleksyon. Masisiguro din na accurate ang pagbilang, h'wag lang talaga may mang-hack or mang-compromise sa system ng pagpasa.

Si Binay binoto ko sa pagka VP pero aminado ako na nadaya si Mar Roxas dito Mar deserve to be VP that time pero wala nadaya siya ni Binay noon eh
I voted for Mar Roxas as VP. Pero from late April to early May ng lumalapit na sa surveys si Binay i feel na maaaring matalo talaga si Roxas especially nung lumabas yung endorsement ni Chiz Escudero kay Mayor Binay. Pero syempre naniwala pa rin ako na mananalo si Roxas especially may endorsement sya from INC and Pastor Quiboloy. Then may final ads noon si PNoy na sinasabi nya si Roxas ang talaga ang kanyang VP at wala ng iba kasi may mga grupo kasi noon na nagpupush ng Noy-Bi lalo na during last strech of campaign period. Kaya I don't think nadaya si Mar, he deserved the Vice Presidency dahil very qualified sya but yung mix ng Erap Supporters and some of PNoy supporters ang tingin ko nagpapanalo kay Binay as Vice President.
@@MarkChristianEnciso Hindi pero as Binay supporter tingin ko talaga parang ang sitwasyon niya para si BBM noong 2016 tapos questionable yung 5 or 3 million uncounted votes na di nabilang baka sinadyang di bilangin yun kasi matatalo si Binay noon imagine kung si Roxas naging VP baka may nakatulong si Pnoy noon sa mga programa unlike kay Binay na puro lang pamumuna.
