What site did you evaluate with?
You aren't crazy, Ruby. MH really does seem to be the real deal. It's a solid product with cards that appeal to almost every segment of player base outside of standard/brawl. Modern, EDH, draft, pauper, Oathbreaker, Canadian Highlander, ect. all want stuff from this set. The supply is meeting the demand without flooding the market and for once people aren't going overboard in either investing or ignoring the product. Unless there's some crazy hidden factor that we just can't see from this vantage point, then it looks like MH might be one of the best products Wizards has ever put out in terms of value, collecting, investments, and actual playability for those who just enjoy playing the dang game. We aren't used to the parent company (Hasboro) being so actively involved in WOTC. Their earnings release will make the folks ask, why don't we just print more? And that's what's going to happen often in the future with new sets. So the MSRP will dip but they will sell more, and sitting on boxes in 2 or 3 years (from now on) will not yield what it used to. Save this comment and remember!
When this came out I bought 12 cases, I've opened 6 and gonna be sitting on the other 6 for awhile. Just as I have done with all the other masters sets.
My local lgs lied to me. Called yesterday to see if they had any boxes in stock. They told me no and that they weren't sure if they would get more.

what exactly do you expect Rudy to talk about ? It's a channel about investments, pricing and box oppening. For gameplay, artwork or story telling there a tons of other good channels : Tolarian Community College, Nizzahon Magic, Rhystic Studies, Command Zone, TGC Player to name a few.
Ask them instead.

Especially when there's also stuff like foil Arcum's Astrolabe being at 12€. Foil commons breaking the double digits in an in-print set just calls for greatness.

Mid prices (on the major retailer websites) may be what regular retailers and those with Rudy's scale. Every other average joe/Timmy would likely (should expect) to sell at Low.

Those Modern horizons packs wrapping looks a bit tighter, so i'd say these were made in the USA. Japan pack wrappers sit a bit looser. Does anyone know about those printed in Belgium? I assume they would mainly print European language Modern horizons so not sure how many from Europe would watch these videos?

So, I'm glad you did another Horizons video because have I got a story/conspiracy for you all that happened literally today. It was my first time purchasing sealed magic product in nearly 3 years. I saw a "draft pack" of three boosters of Modern Horizons at target for like $18 and I'm like hey not a bad price! There's all kinds of cool cards I could stick in my commanders, the EV on these are damn high. The hunger to open packs consumed me and I grabbed 3 packs (of 3). WELL. Upon opening and after that rush of exhileration from opening cardboard crack once again wore off, I noticed with utter dismay that I pulled THREE of the same garbage mythic (Kess) in EACH of the boxes I bought, and the remaining six were absolute garbage bulk rares, with two of those being duplicates. Now the fucking statistics of this happening are ASTRONOMICALLY low. As far as I'm aware it is not advertised anywhere that there is a "guerenteed Kess in each product!" and that these packs are stamped with the same probabilities as any other magic pack... So that being said, is anyone aware of Magic altering the weight of bomb pulls for this particular, or similar magic products? Do I simply have the worst RNG of all time?!?! I just refuse to believe a regular 9 sealed packs could fail to yield a single rare over a dollar and then THREE Kesses in each separate product. Am I reading too far into this? Was buying 9 packs of Horizons for $59 something a complete and total Timmy move?! You decide!
Sounds like you had some very bad luck, but buying packs is always much riskier than opening a sealed booster box. Get 3 copies of Kess is very strange though. I have seen people open the draft packs and get some very good pulls though.

Like I didn't go in expecting to walk away with a bunch of money cards and go turn around and sell them or anything like that, thought it would be fun to open some packs and maybe get some useful cards for my decks and alas. A Kess in each of three sealed products? That's just... Wrong. I wouldn't be suspicious to pull an assortment of bulk rares but that is just not right.
NatesiKness 9 packs isn't that many. It is very possible to get 9 bad packs in a row.
Chris M Crunch the math for us on the probabilities of 3 Kess in a row on those 9 packs since you're so brilliant
First draft pack I bought had a W6 and foil Sword of Sinew and Stone. Spoiled my future expectations. Any further draft packs were a mix of bulk and okay rares (never got any rare lands).
