    I have used w820nb plus for 2 weeks and your video is pretty accurate. At first, the headphone ANC mode hurts my ears, but overtime, I am familiar with it and it is quite comfortable now.
    The only thing I think you missed is it can not connect to 2 devices simultaneously. I have to turn on and off bluetooth to switch between my laptop and phone, quite inconvenient.

    I think you can gain back the elasticity by just using a rubber band and tie it up when not using every once in a while. The plastic will tighten up.

    10:04 theres no slight milisecond delay during gaming?(anyone can confirm this?) budget type like edifier w600bt which i currently use got slight delay whether gaming,watch youtubes movies etc

      For my case, it has no delay when I play rhythm game like OSU in wired mode.
      But I don't recommend playing latency-sensitive games in wireless mode because it is noticeable, especially rhythm games.
      As for normal media consumption like watching movies, youtube social medias it works flawlessly in both wireless mode and wires mode

    Hello, I needed a headphone which has both wired and wireless connectivity. Wireless connectivity for daily usage and wired for gaming in my windows pc. Is there any issue with using it wired by type c port in my laptop? I have windows 11. Will it work fine in games?

    • @jasonhan4791
      @jasonhan4791  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! If you’re using it on “wired” for gaming, there will be no issue. It works fine. Low latency audio, voice calls while gaming is alright. And Yeap, it works fine in windows 11 too rest assured.
      Just don’t use it wirelessly for gaming, because it has quite a bit of output latency despite having the “game mode” on.
      I also bought a 1.5M type-c to c cable for pc gaming because the ones provided in the box is a little bit short. Hope this helps ^^

    Does the mic of this headphone work if you use it on your pc via cable? 'Cause I've seen reviews where it says the mic doesn't work if you use it wired (via cable) on pc. Also can you use anc on wired connection?

    • @jasonhan4791
      @jasonhan4791  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The mic works for both wireless and wired mode.
      I always use this headphone on wired mode for google meet, and discord calls with anc mode on. You can use ambient mode too via wired connection.
      Just make sure you select “Edifier W820nb Plus” as your mic input, not other mic. But normally the pc itself will do the selection for you. Hope that helps ^^

    • @jasonhan4791
      @jasonhan4791  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kingsumon4964 I can’t give you an accurate figure on the product lifespan because I only use it for 4+ months haha
      So far so good, still using it every day and fyi they have replacements parts for ear cups cushions which you can buy via online.
      Multipoint connection: Nope, you’ll have to disconnect first and then connect to the other device.
      Wear detection: Nope, it is a budget headphone after all, so it wouldn’t be surprising that it doesn’t support wear detection

    Well, taking advantage of your Genshin music in the video, how good are to them to listen to Genshin music, cause I really love that and thinking in buying this headphones.

    • @jasonhan4791
      @jasonhan4791  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, in genshin OST, they tend to use different kinds of musical instruments.
      When it comes to instrument clarity, it did an excellent job. (I can hear each bass guitar notes, very clean piano sounds, violin & strings are very clear too)
      When it comes to electronic bass (or electronic music), I feel like the W820nb+ produces deeper bass compared to my other earphones, but not as punchy? Does that make any sense? haha
      It's like you can feel the bass vibrations more but it doesn't punch as much as you thought it would be, more gentle to your eardrums.
      At least that's from my perspective as an ear-deafening bass lover lol. The app doesn't support customizable EQ btw, so you can't fine-tune it to your liking.
      But generally speaking, I would still recommend this headphone because it is a beautiful headphone that sounds good with decent ANC and a very long battery life that doesn't cost a fortune. Hope that helps ^^

    • @rauldeleon312
      @rauldeleon312 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jasonhan4791 Yes, I totally get what you mean about the bass. I have an old Edifier model, H840. I need to replace them cause they broke, so I'm trying to replace them with other headphones that have a similar sound quality or better, but since I enjoy so much genshin music (Like, I listen to it daily) , and my old edifiers are kinda like you describe the W820NB, like, have a good bass ut is not extreme, not punchy, just enjoyable, and all instruments can be heard pretty clearly.
      Another question, can it be used wired? like using it with the usb-c to get a little more quality?

    • @jasonhan4791
      @jasonhan4791  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rauldeleon312 Yes it does become better, when you use it wired. The high-res audio automatically kicks in. Unlike Bluetooth where you have to manually enable your (LDAC) codec in order to use the high-res audio. Besides, there will be no audio latency when using it wired.
      You can use type-C to C cable or you can use USB A ( aka standard usb) to C cable. Both makes no difference, but the quality of cable does matter.

    Hi can i ask how does it handle sweat? Does it handle it well or cannot survive at all?

    • @jasonhan4791
      @jasonhan4791  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there! Nestle kokokrunch. It doesn’t have any official sweat/ water resistant feature. A little sweat should be fine like if you wear it for a walk, I do that quite often haha. Just remember to wipe it off if you saw some sweats around the charging port or buttons (vulnerable parts).
      Most headphones don’t have sweat proof feature including Sony XM5, but people still use it as “fashion wear” or “workouts” and it seems fine. But to be honest, they’re risking their headphone for potential water/sweat damage, which the warranty doesn’t cover.
      So,a word of advice, try not to use it under sweaty activities. Hope it helps ^^

    I’m totally disappointed for this headphones. The one I got is lose. But they won’t refund me coz I already clicked the received item. By 2 weeks of usage this headphone already stretched. It falls off my head unlike the moment I tried it in. And I don’t use this that much. For its price it’s not worth it. The sound quality is not that good. It’s mid. The plastic used is cheap.
    Kinda sad that I saw this too late.

    • @jasonhan4791
      @jasonhan4791  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, it will become less elastic over time as mentioned in 8:31 .But I found a way to kinda "temporarily" fix this issue.
      You may try to keep your headphone in a headphone case or headphone stand.
      The headphone case will shape the band while the headphone stand will use gravitational pull to shape it back. But it will still become loose when you wear it for long hours though.
      Hope that helps a little bit haha
