When I think of how much “retail therapy” money that I wasted when I was younger, it’s sobering but the thought, also, motivates me to continue to stay frugal.
"Heat the human, not the house."
I love it! 😊
Popcorn popped at home in a pan on the stove is an inexpensive snack that can be put in sandwich bags. A lot cheaper than buying chips!
And, as a whole grain, it's healthier! Thanks!
I also pop popcorn as well. I got myself a popcorn popper from Amazon which helps to stay frugal...
At yard sales I have found sewing patterns, cloth, notions, crochet hooks, yarns, etc.. Your explanation of how to save money is very informative. Thank you for your helpful videos.
About paying bills on time.... when I retired and was only going to be receiving my pension at the end of the month, I called all the companies that would be sending me bills and asked if I could get the due date changed to the end of the month. They all said "no problem." Those few telephone calls sure simplified things for me going forward.
That is an excellent tip! I've had to move due dates to fit my pay schedule as well. It's just a matter of asking!
Thx for the reminders. The other part of driving efficiently is to bundle your errands/appointments. E.g. go to gas station, supermarket, and pick up drycleaning all on the way home from work if they're in the same vicinity. Doing several errands on a workday usually means I then have at least one day where I don't need to drive/leave home at all.
Great tip!
Your husband is so fortunate to have a good woman with sence. So msny people are immature, lazy or ditzy these days with no common sense God bless you and all you hold dear in life.
❤️ these tips. My grandchildren birthdays are April & May,sons bday is May, DIL bday is July. I ship the grandkids something via Amazon Prime. To save on shipping costs for my son and DIL,I individually wrap & ship their bday,Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts in one package.
Love it!!
Love all of these tips, and especially the hobby to reduce stress tip.
Thanks! 😊
I wear a fleece vest if the house is cold. I can do all my work without it being too bulky.
If you have south facing widows, have the curtains open during the day in the winter. In the summer, unless it's a cloudy day, keep them closed.
As always, another great video with excellent content. I’m in the process now of going through my clothes to thin out my wardrobe. That hint of not buying clothes just because you like them would have come in handy years ago!!!!
I wish I could have given you my cast iron skillets. I love how well they cook, but can't lift them anymore. Thank you for the great tips! ❤ I love your channel.
Awww...😊. Yes, they are heavy! Thanks so much for your comment!
In hot weather tape Alum foil over windows.
Great tips
I really just never thought of purchasing the big bag of chips and putting them in other sandwich bags.
Glad it was helpful!
I love your channel.
Thank you so much!
Enjoy your channel full of useful, cost efficient tips. I most definitely will make use of them and encourage others to do likewise in my community. My motto is not to waste unnecessarily and save as much as possible. Great channel.
Awesome, thank you so much!

“…about to have a baby.” 😂
God bless. You need all the money saving tips you can get…lol
I keep my A/C off unless I'm sweating while sitting completely still.
I also need it at least 74 degrees to be able to sleep 😴
“Don’t buy clothes just because you like them.” That’s smart! Thanks for mentioning that. I hadn’t really thought of that. My wardrobe is pretty minimal, but I have enough tops…I’m short on pants. 😊
Thank you!🌻
You are so welcome!
Love your channel.
Thank you so much!
Me, too!
Me too!😊
Best wishes and All the best to you and the family.
I really enjoyed this video.
I go to a store that sends coupons. The store looks at what items you pay for and they send you coupons on those items. I really enjoy that.
I'm really grateful for the store I go to on a regular basis.
The coupons really help out and when an item is on sale and you have a coupon that's way cool as well. I just to say that I really appreciate this video.
Thanks again.
And I did put a like on this video as well. 👍 From Joseph

Don’t drink tap water nowhere in the United States at least use a brita water system 😊
I've tried buying at the end of the season a few times. That's how I ended up with the too little clothes I have now 😅
I no longer do that
😄It definitely comes down to just the right timing sometimes. Getting to the stores at the end of the season but before everything cute is completely gone!
Why do you have so much "dry clean only"-clothes in USA??? I live in Finland and I think that only some winterjackets are drycleanonly. If they are made of wool. I love your videos, I watch them often. I like the way you speak, it's so easy to understand even my english is not so good 😊❤
Thank you so much!
I am trying to not buy clothes or shoes for a year. I started in March. I really don’t need anything.
