The last shot potting the red off the cushion I remember saying to my other half, no way this is going in, I thought it was too hard with the red so far away from the pocket but you nailed it. Excellent and you were great to watch throughout the tournament.

I was watching that last shot against Jak live on the telly and thought you might try and try and come off the side cushion, hit the red full ball and leave the white on the top rail near the corner pocket which would have only left a couple of very tricky pots for Jak with no position guaranteed... but I like your style! Id like to know your thinking behind the rerack with Wilson. In comms they were screaming for you to just pot the pink in the end as despite a foul youd still be the big favourite to take that frame. It just looked like after all the hard work and focus on that particular stage of the frame you felt pressured into the rerack. ??
If the final position of the cue ball on the last one was run as a spot the ball competition, I doubt there would be many entrants going for right hand side in baulk. I’d like to see that one from the actual match.
I don't know, but following your matches, you were getting pretty animated with disgust about your mistakes. To allow your emotions to get away like that, and then to control them when getting back on the baise is adding more difficulty to what already is very difficult. Minus in the headpoint for sure. Some of the breaks under pressure were Top 10 seeded quality 👌🏼, you're definitely back 👏.
