So far so good , never had any major problems. As long as you let it heat up properly and don’t totally thrash it constantly they are fine. I think they get a bad name from young kids thrashing the life out of them
@@nitrorory ok! I’m a bit of a noob but when I heat up my bullit it only goes with the choke on and when I take it off the bike just shuts down. How long should I be warming it up?
@@bullitxxelias5485 I would rev it a little bit til it’s warmed up and can idle , like hold it at 4k revs for a bit til it’s happy to idle. As long as you’re not revving too high or full throttle when just started it will be fine
Yeah you really need to run a bigger carb for a 70 kit. They aren’t too dear. Either 19 or 21mm. I recommend the polini cp I have , easy to use and reliable.
@@nitrorory I run a 17.5mm with a 108 main jet, and my bikes does 55+ mph if it’s a 2t bike you’ll need a better exhaust and air filter / clutch and so on, to actually get the most out of the kit, no point just putting a kit on with a bigger carb mate, you need to build everything else up for the kit to get the most power, also reeds aswell
This look like a lot of fun! Just one question, are these bikes reliable with all the modifying on them?

@@bullitxxelias5485 I’d let your bike idle for 2 or 3 mins before riding then just ride fairly gently for the first 10 mins
@@nitrorory but if i idle it sometimes just dies and I’m not sure if I should be reving it case I heard it’s bad for the bike.
Thanks for the help 🙏🏼

Nice, could you do a video on what gear you are using?
Do you mean what gear I’m in as I ride along or what my gear setup is ?
Riding gear
I3lue yeah I could show it at some point I guess. It’s nothing fancy , just riding jacket , over trousers and gloves
Quick question. Do I absolutely HAVE to change my carb set up if I fit a 70cc kit?? Or COULD I run it on a standard bike??

@@nitrorory well you technically don’t, you just need a bigger main jet as the 70cc kit will need more fuel
@@Preza101 yes that is true , I just meant to get the potential out of the bigger bore a new carb is really needed.

@@Preza101 yip that’s why I have carbon reeds, exhaust, 21mm polini Cp carb
How quickly does it cruise along at?
It does 60mph ish at about 10krpm with that gearing , but it cruises in top gear about 45 at like 7.5k rpm and it’s easy
@@nitrorory standard gears? Or have you changed your teeth
Steven H it’s got a 13t front sprocket, think standard is 11t. It suits the 70cc top end
@@nitrorory something to think about then. Thanks
Tops 60 with 70cc thats wack af, had an 06 turbokit exhaust unrestricted 50cc did 60 with acc gearing
