Mam i have a condition: when a sim first starts it gets its MSC and accordingly its HLR registration. does this also mean that if i buy a sim in Mumbai and start the sim for the first time in kolkata, then my MSC will be kolkata and HLR would be of Kolkata MSC?? i am a bit confused. would be grateful if you please help me out of this.

When you have purchased sim you have given the document for it
i think the location in the document might be stored in hlr
