Common Control CHannel (CCCH) contains RACH, AGCH and PCH, not CCCH too because CCCH contains all these 3 channels (minute 4:35).

Please do not teach bad concepts to students. The SACCH monitors the netwrok quality such as RXLEV and RXQUAL and when the quality goes down it prepares the FACCH to handover to the next BS. Conference and SMS are completely different and it is monitores by the Mobile switching control and SMS Switch station in GSM.

Radio Link Quality Measurement: The SACCH carries information about the quality of the radio link between the mobile station and the base station. This includes parameters such as received signal strength, bit error rate, and signal-to-interference ratio. This information is used by the network to adjust power levels and handover decisions.
Power Control: SACCH is used for power control purposes, allowing the network to adjust the transmission power of both the mobile station and the base station to optimize signal quality and reduce interference.
Timing Advance: SACCH is also used for timing advance adjustments. Timing advance ensures that signals transmitted by the mobile station arrive at the base station at the correct time, compensating for the propagation delay between the two.
Other Control Information: SACCH carries additional control information related to the call, such as handover commands, encryption parameters, and other signaling messages.
Overall, SACCH plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and stability of the radio link between the mobile station and the network during an established call in GSM. It facilitates various control functions necessary for optimal performance and seamless operation of the cellular network.
