After years of having 2D Mario games being way too similar with each installment, I think this is something the 2D Mario genre DESPERATELY needed. The final result, being absolutely fantastic 👏

Homestly, I disagree. This game felt like it was trying so hard to be different, but doing nothing particularly outstanding. But it just covers it up by going "Wowie zowie! It's zany!" Wonder felt very lackluster as a Mario game.

@@bretginn1419not being different, but making what made 2D Marios so fun and enjoyable. THIS is the true and long waited Super Mario Bros 5. Levels were amazing and fun, each with their gimmicks, decent difficulty, and surprise factor.

The final boss was a music level, this proves that this game is peak game design!
@@GiozardJr. Only problem is that the bosses in general were very weak and the search levels were awful. Other than that, absolutely godly game

The Final Boss beeing a Music Level is the last thing i expected from a Mario Game

My personal favourite music level was of course Bowser’s knucklefest mayhem because Mario literally POSES and the music is epic
I like the non-elephant poses better but even so the fact that they pose in the beginning is just the best
I love so much these levels, especially the king boo opera
0:38 on the first level I couldn’t bring myself to kill any of the piranha pants

It’s like Mario met up with Rayman and got inspired by the Legends music levels, which I can’t complain. Music levels are fun
Anyone else think Bowser was channeling Jack Black in the Rage Stage, or was that just me?
I JUST finished this game a few minutes ago and I found the final Bowser battle to be quite fun. It has some challenge, but not a lot of it to make it extremely hard. I really did enjoy the music themed levels in this game. Overall, Super Mario Bros Wonder was a great game. I just was a bit surprised that it wasn't as difficult as NEW Super Mario Bros Wii.

2:31 took me like 300 tries to make it. Then I finally made it and didn't collect the Wonder Seed in time because I was too stunned that I made it. So I had to do it again! xD Not as bad as the Secret Final Test though D:

The thing I like about wonder there’s different wonder effects in each levels but some do reuse the other ones like the stampede but they do it in different way really cool game

The boo opera reminds me of Mario + rabbids. You know that singing boss in the game? The boss when you get rabbid yoshi. Not the mini boss tho.

0:07 through 0:54 was probably the best music level in the mario history i keep rewinding back to the beginning of the song and i listened to it like 25 times already what catchy tune 😊😌!
Isn’t it strange how some people such as myself think the exact opposite? I’m one of those who’d recommend having a mute button ready for that awful level, and kill every plant that comes out.
I love how it's not verbally said but clearly implied that bowser just really likes rock music/ rcok concerts. Anytime he can he just fights his enemies to the sound of rock or simply is at a rock concert, and i love that about him.

They still couldn’t beat Rayman, since in Rayman, the music WAS the level and those levels were based on original songs

All level stage is part of adventure and music and it will depend to the difficult of the level option if you start the game from the beginning
