@@PedalMore I feel like most people in the comments overhype Cinelli without any basis, so would you be kind as to explain why this frame was so important?
@@retardno002 these older mash frames hold a special place in fixed gear rider's hearts. If you got introduced to fixed gear riding via the mash SF films in 06 / 07 these frames were incredibly sought after collabs in arguably one of the biggest explosions in fixed popularity. That is what makes them hard to come by, the limited number plus the fact that they sold very quickly and were built for how people wanted their bikes to look then. @@grrttshw thank you for an actual explanation, I really appreciate it. rarity + hype + quality is usually a recipe for success, but what is 'quality' more exactly? Do they have some cool tubing or unique geometry?
@@retardno002 yeah the geometry is semi pursuit. And the Cinelli and Mash Collab was orientated at people wanting to ride track bikes on he roads so a lot of that was taken into account in the design.
exactly my first thought... minus the joke though. Are there some unwritten rules in place I don't know about, preventing Cinelli (and other fixed gear) riders from being original and forcing them to use Thomson & Omnium? +waveywheelies
I love your videos! I'm dreaming to build my own Cinelli. It would be great if you could make a video showing and explaining all the tools needed to build a fixie.
If you choose the components wisely (especially the hubs), you mainly need allenkeys as a tool for a fixie build (Only for the chain and for the tires a different tool is required). Was also nicely demonstrated in this video.
Faster way to install grips is use rubbing alcohol, just toss some inside the grip and it will coat the bar as it slides on, it will dry almost instantly. Sick build, wish I could find any Cinelli right now.
Nice build! I remember when this frame came out, definitely one of my favs, this and also the Bianchi pista concept 2006, hopefully one day!! haha cheers
@@waveywheelies yep, they are a bmx company and they made some of the first fgfs frames. Not sure if they still make them. I used to mess around with tricks and stuff hahaaa
Thanks bro, I do it because I prefer the look of the top cap sitting flush with the stem. To me it just looks a lot nicer. Stem companies specify you can allow a few mm gap, so it is never an issue
Thanks bro! They do the Gazzetta which is pretty dope, and also the steel vigorelli. There’s also the mash work but they don’t make them anymore so might be harder to find
Wouldn’t say it’s super light but it’s pretty light for steel. Yeah I have one bro, toe overlap I’m used to as most of my fixed gears have it. 165mm cranks might help more and pedal choice too. I do run different forks on my gazzetta though (mash work forks)
love it, can please name the BB that spins so fast and easy. My stock and 3d party are pretty tough and Sram one have small bearing 0.7mm bigger then axel. I don't know if 200$ ceramic worth it to try vs 20$ for steel.
Im sorry but it seems like there are two diffrent frames right? The first one black and grey and the second one (the one he build) with two tones of grey. Am I daltonic? hahaha. Love your fi vdeos bro, cheers from Argentina.
Hi just curious if i can use this song for a documentary i am filming. Would definitely love to use this song but of course not without you and your friends permission. Thanks!
Good question, I haven’t personally done it but I have heard that it’s just a rubber bung that’s in there that is painted over. So apparently you can pop it out from the backside, or drill it out. But that’s just what I’ve heard, would be best to double check!
That focus from the chain to the frame was so dope 🔥🔥🔥
the fact that you found a mash 09 is amazing
I feel like most of the people in the comments don’t understand how special what a big stamp in the fixed gear community that frame set is.

always watching this kind of videos cause i get satisfied. soon i'll be able to afford one
I love how fixie people use bmx parts. Eclat is one of the best bmx brands in the market btw. Good choic of pedals.
Thanks! bmx pedals and grips are the best!
Just finished watching your fleet video and totally get why this bike is one of your favorites. It looks freaking awesome.

My compliments to who got this idea and to the editor
That bike is smoothly built such a smooth bike 🚲 🔥

Such a sweet build, those H+Son rims are epic.
Thanks bro! Yeah the rims are beasts
these vids are a great way to start a morning. Ride on man! thanks for this
Thank you man! Really appreciate it. Always riding my bro 🤙
Lovely, I want a go on that beauty
beautiful bike
Another fire build🔥
A little rubbing alcohol poured into the grips will make them slip right on & be easy to reposition. It evaporates and they are solid.
Thanks for the info! I use hairspray sometimes but I’ve never used rubbing alcohol, I’ll have to give it a go!
My dream trick bike..
Nicest frame to be ever made

I always watch this kind of video hoping that someday I can afford and build one, I always dream riding a decent fixie I wish someday I can get one
You will bro, just a matter of time. What bike you saving for?
I’m saving up just for a decent steel fixie cause that’s just what I’m just capable of

Question:
"How the hell did you got brand new omniums in 2020?"
They aren’t brand new but they are in pretty mint condition!

Statebicycleco. Has them brand new $260
Can still get them brand new from a BIke shop here which still have around 30 units :)
Good job, but why you don't put a spacer below and one above so the stem tightens on the whole head tube?
Yeah I agree with you

The rotor for the disc break was a little bent probably from ship but all in all awesome bike.

What size frame is this? Do cinelli mash frame fit bigger? Dope videos keep up the awesome content

Thanks bro! its the same frame, the lighting is slightly darker in the intro so maybe that's why you thought that
Where could i find a frame like this for sale?
They are getting harder to find but best bet is to just search the web, eBay, lfgss or even Facebook groups

what was the length of the handle bar?
How much does a build like this cost?

be careful with clamping the stem with the top floating off the steerer. slipped stem is a bad time
How much the whole bike if converts to peso?
Seriously though, how do I get my hands onto this frame?? I'm in Europe.
you'll have to search your local second hand marketplaces man, they are getting fairly hard to find seen as they did come out 10 or so years ago now.
Where did you get your crankset at could you send a link?
Sorry bro I got them second hand!
is that izumi chain a jet black?
good question, I actually ended up using a KMC 510 chain. The Izumi chain in the start I didn't end up using. sorry for the confusion

And the brakes?
Gun metal wheelset?
frame size? and the angle for thomson stem? thank you
55cm so medium I think, and the stem is 10 degrees

Is there different between mash Bolt and mash histogram frames?
Yep I’m pretty sure, they constantly changed the geo over the years, but not by much. Main difference is probably the headtube/fork steerer size

Hard to say bro, it depends if your buying all the parts brand new or second hand. Anywhere from 1k to 3k I would say (NZD$)
