    Tip for the jig heads; if you push your plastic up almost to the keeper, but then twist the upper part of the plastic about 90° before pushing it up on the keeper, THEN straighten it-it will stay on better.

      The problem is he is not comparing apples to apples. He would have you believe that if you are not buying cheap Walmart baits, you are getting scammed. Even if you are fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Tuna, Stripers and other tackle busting species. When you target these types of gamefish, you better know what you can trust. If his followers are going on the trip of their lifetime, encouraging them to buy cheap stuff is a disservice.

    I fish in the Midwest and I fish a lot for walleyes. I have found that all you need to do is to keep it simple. I have have great success using these to rigs. I fish a slip sinker rig with a snelled circle hook with a large minnow hooked in the tail. I will also fish a 1/8 ounce jig with half of a crawler on it and slow drag it back. Very inexpensive especially when you catch your own bait.

    Freshwater angler here. I've learned that if you are fishing waters where fish have never seen a lure or fly, and are hungry, they will hit on almost anything. But if you are in waters where there is intense fishing pressure, then they get very selective on what they'll take. It takes awhile to figure out what they want, and it's not necessarily the most expensive item.

      this was 100% true when I lived in jersey. The wife and I would trek through the woods to find a hidden spot and spend hours snatching fish out of the water. but if we went to a local place we would basically be relaxing and hanging out.. too much pressure

    Hi my friend, I have a question for you. You said fishes are color blind , so why when you sell your orange weights, you said the color of the weights in the setup is very important.......🤔 aren't they color blind?

    • @instantjizz
      @instantjizz 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Color blind doesn't mean they can't see shades. Their are varying degrees. I fish kokanee for example, and their eyes see red and pick spectrum very well but are kinda blind to others. So I use pink a lot for them and it's usually the best performing color. I'm sure all fish have a spectrum they can detect best and I'm sure it's different for all species.

    • @yassshawn34

      @joeygao8344 well fish see color mostly just blues and greens. However it varies species to species. Like large mouth bass for example don't see blues however they see greens and reds. That's due to the lack of blue rods and pins in their eyes.

    • @willcordelo9582
      @willcordelo9582 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I agree 100%! NLBN is NO scam. I'm 60 years old and have been fishing Florida's west coast with jigs and swimbaits for 50 years! When NLBN came out they entered a league of their own. Their screw lock jig heads hold on to the swimbaits like no other. The swimbaits are hand poured so they're not a uniform solid color, and no two are the same. More importantly is the plastic is tough and is not easily torn off. They have 3 size swimbaits and 3 size jig heads that come in a variety of different weights! The various size Mullet Series, teamed with matching size BKK Screw Lock Worm Hooks are an amazing combination. They DO require some practice but once mastered they swim like a gliding mullet. The two guys that started this company didn't just pour molds and package. A lot of R & D went into each design that was designed exclusively for snook and tarpon. It just so happened that the striper boys up north learned about them and are now swearing by them also. I built up so much confidence in these products that I gave all my other brands away. No they are not cheap, but when someone locally puts the effort these guys have, into designing baits for the fish that you target, you don't mind supporting them.

    Do you test out any of the stuff they offer you? I'd love to test out free stuff and leave reviews, but I would definitely have a few stipulations. First, it would have to be something I think might be decent. Second, I'm going to be honest with the review. I think that's it, interested & honest.
    At the beginning I was also worried you were talking about NLBN and his they kind of got on the market like that. I live in South Florida and I've done really well with the lil mullet & mini mullet for snook. I've caught a decent amount of peacocks, largemouths, and snakeheads with it also.

    I know where the Skipper is coming from. I tried a whopper plopper for six months without a single bite. It was definitely a waste of money.

    First day? Of course they market their product. 90 percent of lures are designed to catch fishermen. I catch stripers on umbrella rigs made from butter knife handles

    I'd kill to pay $10 for a lure , more hard plastics and to be honest softs these days here in the UK will run you over £20 (25-30$)

    Nlbns are used for bigger fish like 30-40in snook, grouper things like that the K tail is genuinely better then a lot of baits n used for sport fishing in my opinion the price I cool with nlbns because they work as advertised n for me perform better last longer after each fish and don't break

    Hey there,.. I stopped fishing with bait a very long time ago, and I'm in my '60s... only have lures and flies in my .... lures get quite pricey and all the bling on lures is to get you to buy them ... colour and shape have nothing to do with attracting fish to bite.... watched some guy on TH-cam made a lure out of a section a tree branch 1"x 3"w/treble hooks ....4 lb. Largemouth Bass was caught on this said lure.... do the math,... if your lure moves, it's going to get hit no matter what size, shape, or colour
    I'm appalled by all these scams .... lures costing $1,000 + are a scam as with most products we pay for.... this has been going on way before I was born which has never surprised me in the least... pouring your own plastics and making your own lures, seems to be the way to go

    Lucky where I fish I don't suffer from blue fish only mackerel during certain times of the year. I rather go with Saltstrong shrimp you can buy bulk they can be rigged weedless I don't have time to pour molds and you can get 2/0 jig heads for them like every lure there is a gimic but if you have the option to buy lures in bulk ill take it.

    I also save all my artificial lures that get bit off or what ever and you can remelt them down and pour new ones again... perfect them ones that you can't put on hook you remelt them and make more

    I've seen some of your videos and you take off the head of a shrimp.I have a great tip for a head of a shrimp. Stick your hook inside of its brain if it's dead Of course and have it bleed and then put the hook through the shell and the fish love it. I've caught A Five pound redfish on it

    I agree with him in a sense NLBN is a scam way overpriced, you can catch fish with anything you don’t need those expensive lures, if you put a bait on a line and the fish is swimming by and it’s hungry it’s going to bite
