This video idea came the book "Box-Making Projects For The Scroll Saw" by Gary MacKay. In the book are a series of patterns for small boxes with drawers. They are cut from 3/4 in material with the cut out pieces glued to make the drawers. One of them was shaped somewhat like a chest of drawers and I thought that I could use that idea to make a small parts holder. I have LOTS of small parts of various kinds that I need to organize a bit better to keep up with what I have so I went to Inkscape and designed a rough first pattern and used some scrap pieces of material to test it. It worked but I need to refine the pattern and tighten up my cutting. I am not unhappy with the first try but will improve on it and make a few of these to better organize my stuff.
