Hola José, I want to thank you for all the information you share with us. As of today, my P800 is running 100% on ink owls ink and chip and RR paper, and working great. FYI, mexican EPSON printers, do need the chip.
Thanks for letting me know! But the true test will come when you have to reset one of those chips. These systems ALWAYS work once. The first time only UNLESS your printer is NOT locked as ours in the USA are.
Excellent videos my friend, I have a question, you used the cartridges of the epson 3880, in the epson p800, and reset normally? If I use the cartridges that are dedicated for the p800, do not reset?,
NO. They will not fit as their Key Ways are different. The chips would not be accepted either. The current batch of refillable s sold in the internet will NOT Reset on ANY North American Based or Zoned P800 but will work on P800 Zoned elsewhere.
I Gris Claro I Griss Claro Claro.
If you mean refillable carts with 3rd party inks then mostly no. You will need to buy a well matched inkset and most are not. If you are in the USA the only ink set that is close to OEM is www.inkjetmall.com or www.precisioncolors.com
Hi Jose, After switching over to PC Inks with a set of flushed, dried and refilled cartriges off Ebay I notice there is a lot more action going on before and during printing. I'm wondering if ink is not flowing good. I was very careful and diligent in doing the refills. Is this normal? I just think there is more action going on with the printer???
And you are printing with the same frequency? I haven't seen anything different on mine but then it's been a couple of years since I switched. I used my original carts and not CLI 8 substitutes. Canon pro printers do all sorts of dances before actually printing. You should hear the pro-1
I try to print something daily or at least do a nozzle check withing 48 hours... It's been printing great. Just concerned about all the dancing going on as I don't want to waste a head. PS.....Even though I'm using PC inks the Cannon stock profile still looks the closest to my calibrated IPS monitor!
You are doing everting fine. I also get very good results with Canon's OEM profiles. Did you ever get my PRO Luster profile? If not I will post the link later tonight.
Yes you probably can and no. There aren't any inks that are fully UV resistant. Original Epson inks would be the best. Some specialized printers can use solvent base I is which do provide some UV protection and work well with inkjet coated vinyl media
hello.. channel is very informative.. here in india we have surecolor P607 instead of surecolor P600.. i was wondering if refill cartridges are same for both.. as i am not able to find any refill cartridges for surecolor P607 online.. could you help me regarding this..
I don't have any idea. Commonly you may have different chip coding between printer models from different world regions. This maybe will prevent you from running carts, OEM or refillable intended for the main model number. In this case the P600. The one and only sure way to test is to try to just ry to run the printer with a cart intended for the P600 purchased from a company selling in the west. If the printer accepts it then you should be OK with the commonly found refillable carts.
No. There is no current working refillable system for the P800. Nothing works. Even if it did, you would not need original chips as the carts already come with preloaded with ARCs
Yes that is the case. No one can. Your printer is now locked to OEM only. A permanent solution has not been found yet. What refillable carts are you using?
hello Jose, i checked out the link, and it said that they are not selling any kit of refillables cartridges at the momment. do you know other place to buy.
Yeah because in the North American Region Printers they do not reset. Therefore they will not allow you to use them more than once. I explain why in many subsequent videos.
YES. New OEM EPSON Carts. You will not be able to use ANY refillable carts with the same codes, and they all have the same chip codes Millions of them that were sold. Foreign Country P800 will work with the current carts sold pretty much all over ebay just not North American P800 Printers.
Hi Jose, What an amazing channel. So much great information, I wish I knew before I neglected my printer. I have an Epson R2400 with some stubborn clogs. With your help, I have been slowly bringing this printer back to life. I have been going through a lot of ink and I am ready to switch to something more affordable. Would you recommend the Precision Colors PCK3HD R2400 T059 Ready2Go Kit? It has Prefilled Set of Spongeless Refillable Cartridges, that seems to be easy for someone new to refillables. What're your thoughts? Also, I hope I have the right website. It looks really out of date. precisioncolors.com Thanks! You Rock! Tedd
Hi Jose, Thank you for your feedback. I just placed that order and looking forward to some guilt free printing. I'm nursing back my R2400s clogged print heads. OK I finally got my black channel to 100%, but now I have a new issue. 2 channels that were at 100%, now print blank nozzle checks and a 3rd that was 100% prints about 25% of the nozzles. I'm using cartridges from LD. Any tips for situation like this? Should I just keep nursing it back with the windex paper towels and/or syringe through the nozzles? Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us. Tedd

BTW, I just finished refilling my carts and Mexico's version of P800 needs the decoder chip as well
Yes all North American P800s are locked out.
You are professional I appreciate your work

As verdad.
Bueno. Entonces no puedes usar productos 3rd party. Las P800 de Norte America no lo permiten.
Gracias
Few questions, can you print on self adhesive vinyl? And also are the inks uv stable and water proof?
Yes you probably can and no. There aren't any inks that are fully UV resistant. Original Epson inks would be the best. Some specialized printers can use solvent base I is which do provide some UV protection and work well with inkjet coated vinyl media

No. Los the USA no funcionan.
Hi Jose,
Where do you get your cards from? I'm in the UK
What Cards??
Jose Rodriguez I meant *carts sorry!

Hello, so i need not chips from original Epson cartridges as in stylus pro 3800? Thx George
No. There is no current working refillable system for the P800. Nothing works. Even if it did, you would not need original chips as the carts already come with preloaded with ARCs
That will work on P800s from Europe only and not on North American region models

Wait are you using the P-800 or the PRO-3800??? If the P-800 you do not. If the PRO-3800 then yes you will.
Guys, hi!
Are you being able to reset the decoders chip? My P800 is not recognizing the bulk-ink anymore.
Anyone?

That would be a good choice. When I did ha e a R2400 that is what I used.

Jose Rodriguez does the pck3hd send to Europe?
it works on the p400?
If you mean the inks? No. It is only for K3 type Epson printers. But there is a new ink set I justbtested for the R2000 R1900 and of course the P400.
