I just came across your channel and you are one tasty slide player. Also pulled the trigger on one of these as a result of your demo (and the Anderton's one.) Thanks.
Great amps designed by amp genius Bruce Zinky. I own a 96 Fender Pro Sonic which first featured the three way rectifier switch which in my opinion is superior to anything similar that Mesa does for roughly 1/3 the price. I also own a Supro Tremelectric which is Bruce Zinky's verson of the Fender Vibro-King done his way. My only complaint is that it would be nice to have a vintage reverb tank included on at least one of the models. One key ingredient to the amps sound is using bias tremolo instead of opto tremolo. Most tone seekers will agree that bias trem has a warmer and better sound than opto trem. Unfortunately Fenders opto trem patent is why Fender never uses the richer sounding bias tremolo.
Hey Lance, knew you a little back in your Southwest Little Rock daze....ohhh....days....nice demos....there is a Thunderbolt available around here and watching your demos really helped me out a lot....what to do...what to do.....I'm a vintage Marshall guy and use NOS tubes....there really is a big difference, but I need a smaller amp to lug around sometimes.....thx.....being a 6L6 tubed circuit, what are your thoughts on preamp tubes.....I like RCA Blackplates in V2, but I like old Tesla 803s in V1 or 60s Mullards....what do you use?.....thx again
Hey, Lance, The amp sounds great! But is this an off the shelf amp, just the same as at a retailer? Or is it a tweaked one, for the video. Any caps, resistors, changed? Stock transformers, tubes, speakers? Any circuit tweaks?
Thanks a bunch Lance..the two tens are my bag,,much as i love my O"L super 4-10s its a bit much to carry round sometimes and you gotta get up round 5-7 to crunch,,what do ya think this would this amp do for the mic,ed harp? thats another sound I,d love to get out of one amp..vs guitar tone,,then trying to get that chi-tone on the harp in the same amp..
Wow!! But the question is: is it too loud for play rock in a small pub? Can I reach its full sound without break any hears? Obviously, I'm talking about a full clean sound. I use pedals for overdrive and fuzz tone
Heavenly sound and playing!
I just keep coming back to this demo for the tone and killer playing !
Man, this one sounds so nice. Does it take pedals well?

Just a great amp. Nice demo killer playing (and production) Would REALLY be perfect if it had a vintagey rype reverb!

Super bummer about Moniker Guitars man! Thank God I ordered one (a Tejas- a bit like the one you're playing in this video) before they shut down!

Mr. Keltner sir. All I can say is Mr. Bo Diddley wishes he had that tabletop of a guitar. And are you a relative of Jim Keltner?
Demo with a Tone Bender next
Very cool amp,I should probably grab one myself.
Perfect amp

Lance what tuning are you in?
Sounds like open G tuning.
Mark De Souza open Cm
Open Cm
Maxim muzic Thanks for the clarification! I picked up the Supro Dual Tone! I love it!!
I am sorry Sir! The amp is great ( I own one by myself) but your sound comes from the tuning and the pedals you are using. You should mentioned that.
Ben Stewart that is an odd thing to say.
I play the way i play
I
lancekeltner I really appreciate that. But please...you should tell us what pedals you used! That would be helpful. Thanks!
Your voice sounds like Jack Black.
