Oh Angie, you are a font of knowledge. I shop on Amazon all the time and when I was looking at supplies for sublimation, I came across these and I said to myself, I have the Easy Press mats, I don't need these. However, after watching your video, now I know what to get for specific projects. I'm definitely going to get the roll of foam, because I do a lot of T-shirts, and I will look at those Artesprix pads. Also, I will get those pads to use in the Cricut Mug press, because I will probably do smaller mugs and tumblers. I did order a Vevor tumbler press, but it's coming by UPS and just in case there's a delay, I will do the mugs and tumblers in my Mug press.
I just recived today morning my new toy Epson F170. Will be now watching all your video to learn. Thank you for your time and very understanding explain all about sublimation .👍
I Love you're channels (and blog). I'm still very new (cricut), and when I have a question, your's is always one of the channels I check. Thank you soooooo... much. Great information as always!
When the Artesprix Heat Resistant Mat is substituted for the Cricut Autopress pad, will the machine adjust to the proper pressure or does the thinner mat decrease the pressure that is achieved?
Hello Angie, I enjoy your videos, have learned a lot. I. have recently been doing sublimation slate on my easy press and it sometimes comes out uneven so looking at the rubber mat. I tried the link above and it doesn't work, can you provide a link for the rubber mat and the Nomex?
We are working on changing things. Try Heat Press nation for the rubber pad and Nomex. That being said - you may not be able to get consistent pressure for that project with an EasyPress.
What thickness of the Heat Conductive Green Rubber Pad is most versatile? I would do projects that Conde recommends for each thickness, but would need to pick the most useful size.
Thank you a lot ! I have the autopress too and would like to know what size you bought for the large nomad pad and the most expensive next heat conductive please ? I’ m french 🇫🇷 so I hope they ship to Europe too. Thank you so much a new time for this video very professional and useful ( I don’t use translator, so sorry if it’s not perfectly in english).
I bought one a little larger. The AutoPress is 12 x 15 so go a little over that and you will be fine. I do not know of people that ship to Europe however. Try looking for a heat press pad. Those should be firm enough to use in the AutoPress for sublimation.
I have one question, it’s just one pad going on heat press, I mean I have on bottom one pad and one have on heat board , but it is going off, i bought new press and my friend takes off pad from bottom heat board the pad , it’s should go off or no??
Uv dtf are like stickers met sublimation, and they had a baby. lol its the easiest way I've found to explain it. It's for hard surfaces and things you can't sublimate. An example is dollar tree mugs, plastic cups/tumblers, laptops, journals, notebooks, etc . Anything that doesn't require heat as they are put on like a sticker or even like vinyl decals dtf is for fabric of any sort as long as it's able to take heat. For example, a black cotton shirt you can press a Dtf image onto, and it will be. seen. I haven't yet used uv dtf, but I have ordered like 8 gang sheets of Dtf from 143 vinyl in the last month 😅.. they are a bit addictive especially being they can be applied to any color shirt
Does the Heat Conductive Green Rubber pad also require protective paper to prevent contact with the ink? Can either silicon/teflon be used directly on the sublimation design or under the surface of the garment being sublimated without protective paper?
Does the project being sublimated go sublimation side down on the Nomex pad to be effective? Would that keep the heat from reaching the sublimation? What paper works best with the Nomex to allow the project to sink in (card stock should probably be avoided as it is too stiff?)
Your links are broken 😢. I wanted to buy the green rubber pad but the link is broken and you don't say in your video where to buy it. I want you to make the commission! Ty for this video!
❤ all your videos Hi, i think you have a Juliet. How do you like it in term of software, cuts, easy to use in comparison to Cricut. I was thinking about getting a wider cutter, but not really the Cricut Venture price. Thank you Did you have a video comparison Cricut maker and juliet? 😊
Could I use one of these heat pads to put a nick tag on a T-shirt, not a sublimation T-shirt to raise the area of the neck tag above the collar? If not what could I use to raise the neck tag area to press a neck tag transfer? If so which pad would you recommend?
Thank you Angie! We are proud to bring professional level supplies in craft form so everyone can experience sublimation! :)
No matter how much experience I have, I alwats learn something here. Always appreciated!
So happy to hear that!

Awesome! Happy to help!
Thank you for this! I bought the green conductive pad but couldn’t remember why.
Happy to help!

Very interesting and very well explained. I didn't know there were all those different types of mats. Thank you!
Thanks Angie, this was so informative and helpful!!!
Glad it was helpful!
You can put your uncovered foam in a pillow case and wash them if ink were to get on them. I have a big roll I purchased a few years ago.
I don’t think that would work but not sure!
Thank you for the great information! I found this very helpful! Love your videos and all the great information you bring to us each week!
Thank you for this I have been wondering what one to use with what
Glad I could help!
This is so helpful. You are my go to! Is there an alternative to using a Nomex pad in my convection oven?
I only use it to prevent hot/cold spots from my rack. You may see if you think your rack is giving your hot/cold areas?
When the Artesprix Heat Resistant Mat is substituted for the Cricut Autopress pad, will the machine adjust to the proper pressure or does the thinner mat decrease the pressure that is achieved?
It auto adjusts to the right pressure.
Could you please provide the actual name for the heat conductive "rubber mat" you show as the link in the description no longer works.
Try Heat Press Nation. We are working on my 1000s of videos and updating links.
Thank you, for the video, but my question is I am starting to work on ceramic ornaments. Which mat do you recommend?
I would use the artesprix firm heat resistant mat.
Thank you for the good information! 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Great info! Do you have an updated link for Heat Resistant Foam Roll? Thanks
Sure! I changed it out under the video!

@@AngieHolden thank you and my apologies, mistype auto press, not easy :)
Great info! Good advise thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Angie - I’m waiting on the delivery of my Cricut AutoPress and wanted to know the thickness of the Nomex pad you use?
I like the 1/2 inch thick for this.
@@AngieHolden Thanks so much!!
What’s the Best Pad for Tote Bags Canvases and T-Shirts for all Sizes from S-3X ?
I like the foam on a roll as I can just cut several sizes as needed!
What thickness of the Heat Conductive Green Rubber Pad is most versatile? I would do projects that Conde recommends for each thickness, but would need to pick the most useful size.
I only have the 1/8 inch thick one and I use it for everything.

I leave the bottom pad on my heat press.
hi can you make a video explaining what is UV DTF? what is it for how can we use plzzzzz thanks in advance.
I have not yet tried DTF as I am not sure about the health implications of using it long term.
Uv dtf are like stickers met sublimation, and they had a baby. lol its the easiest way I've found to explain it. It's for hard surfaces and things you can't sublimate. Does the Heat Conductive Green Rubber pad also require protective paper to prevent contact with the ink? Can either silicon/teflon be used directly on the sublimation design or under the surface of the garment being sublimated without protective paper?
I use Artesprix protective paper even with the green pad. I am not going to risk getting ink on it! I don't use Teflon for sublimation.
Does the project being sublimated go sublimation side down on the Nomex pad to be effective? Would that keep the heat from reaching the sublimation? What paper works best with the Nomex to allow the project to sink in (card stock should probably be avoided as it is too stiff?)
Nomex pad goes under your blank and sublimation still on top unless the directions tell you otherwise. I still use Artesprix protective paper.
Your links are broken 😢. I wanted to buy the green rubber pad but the link is broken and you don't say in your video where to buy it. I want you to make the commission! Ty for this video!
Green pad was at a place that is no longer in business. We are currently working to change out all links. However, Heat Press Nation does have them!
❤ all your videos
Hi, i think you have a Juliet. How do you like it in term of software, cuts, easy to use in comparison to Cricut.
I was thinking about getting a wider cutter, but not really the Cricut Venture price.
Thank you
Did you have a video comparison Cricut maker and juliet? 😊
I don't have a comparison. I find the Siser harder to use. There is a learning curve as you set everything yourself.
Thank you for the info :) Do you know where any of these can be purchased in Canada?🙂
I am unsure of any international purchasing locations. Hopefully you can find something similar at least!
which mat would b best if im doing wind spinners?
I like the firm Artesprix mat for those.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The Nomex and the rubber pad links don't work now
Try heat press nation. We are working on links as the place went out of business!
What is it called and where can I buy the heat-resistant foam
Heat resistant foam rolls are at Heat Press Nation now. Try looking for a "vapor apparel kit".
Can you suggest an alternate firm pad equivalent to the Aristsprix
Sure! Look for a heat pad that is made for use in a heat press.
Could I use one of these heat pads to put a nick tag on a T-shirt, not a sublimation T-shirt to raise the area of the neck tag above the collar? If not what could I use to raise the neck tag area to press a neck tag transfer? If so which pad would you recommend?
I would just use a small Cricut EasyPress mat for that. Or you can buy the roll of foam I talk about here and cut a small pieces.
@@AngieHolden would a mouse pad work if cut in a small peace?
Hi Angie, I’m new to sublimation. Can I use Bella canvas T-shirt from Michaels craft store? Doest tell me what it is.
Probably not. They are usually cotton.
@@AngieHolden ok thank you. Would it work on DTF hack? 😀
Yes I am pretty sure that works on cotton.
@@AngieHolden ok thank you 😊
OMG, why in the world is my cricut making me register allllllll over I don't want to lose my designs ? Thx
I closed out and went back in Im good ..whew Thx
Anyone has that fish smell from the heat press pad and how to get rid of it?
I feel like that is just part of it with some of these.
Replay- thank you
Thank you too!
