Please go get your mom for me.” Then mom and I can have a chat that 1. If there is cake left after my guest have gotten I am happy to give the kid a piece and 2. Make sure there is nothing in the cake the kid can’t have. There was no need to tell a child “this is not your party, these are not your friends.” Rude! But just like Kev….my kid wouldn’t have been over there by some strangers anyway.
