So while Eboni’s tone was stank and unnecessary so was Iyanla’s question. we gotta stop telling BW to choose better men, than yell at them when they do.
Angel is out of touch and is as wrong as Iyanla. I completely agree with you. Black women’s statistics are positively through the roof, while black men are the complete opposite. It statistically makes no sense for a black woman to date below her means, especially to simply appease the black community. I feel Ebony was completely justified in her mannerisms and response.

That bus driver part was spot on! I’m divorced and “dating”, but these men around here don’t want to grow with you by any means. They expect to jump on someone else’s successful train but be catered to and not demeaned for lacking themselves. There’s no grace or understanding given, just expected for their plight. I’ve always been willing to work with potential and in the past, once they get a lil leg up, they turned around and treated ME like the broke-y. No ma’am, no ham, no burger these days. You don’t have to buy me birken bags, just manage the level you’re at SUCCESSFULLY if you expect me to become involved.
It’s more about what people’s financial life is like than their job title. When I was last dating, my strong preference was for a fellow white collar professional. I’m an engineer and still in the upward swing of my career and thought I could relate better to someone in the same space in life. Plus I wanted someone who was already financially stable so that we could join forces instead of having to wait for them to catch up (I know that many blue collar workers make good money and are stable). I met my husband, who was a laborer who repaired pallets and I had to decide pretty quickly if that was a deal breaker for me because he was pretty happy with his life at the time. He owned his home and car, he could afford to take care of his kids and buy what he wanted, and he was able to save more than I was even though I made twice as much. So I told him, as long as he doesn’t mind that I make more than him, I’m good with it. We’ve since invested in each other and have a great life. He moved on to driving a truck (he used to do it back in the day) and is looking at starting his own business (he also ran in business back in the day).

(bus driver) the problem with these conversations is noone knows how to properly ask a question. Its always general questions with broad answers being answered by specific people with specific views. its shouldn't be "would you date a bus driver" it should be "what kind of occupation do you think the partner with the qualities you looking for does?"
I appreciate the body comments! I work out almost every day and my fat don't budge either!!! I work out for the health! Thank you for sharing in my frustrations and allowing me to not be alone!!!! LOL
What most people fail to realize is that working out stimulates fast loss and muscle growth (weightlifting really). Your diet is the most important part of fitness. They don’t have a metabolism problem. They just eat too much lol. Kev says it all the time, everyday is a cheat day. You can’t expect to see results if you’re exercising but eating what you shouldn’t.
My trainer said if you cheat everyday it's not cheating that's just your regular food 😂 and "weight loss happens in the kitchen". It's a hard adjustment but if the goal is health and longevity and not just weight loss for looking better then it makes it easier to be consistent.
@@joanna0988 your trainer is absolutely right 😂😂. It takes a lot of work to form certain habits but it depends on how bad you want it. Just so happens that some people want a strawberry short cake more than they want a flat stomach lol.
“ there is no amount of money that can you treat you right “ So true Kev ! That was a bar However , class is real and some men do not feel Comfortable being with someone of a different class background .
I wouldn’t mind dating someone making less than me or not working a “glamorous” job. However, most often that partner is easily triggered and intimidated. So everything becomes about having and not having money. It’s like dating someone shorter than me. No issue. As long as you don’t start telling me to not wear my heels because I’m already 5’10.
Happy Birthday Kev, glad you enjoyed your vacation & your birthday weekend!!! I didn't see the MochaFest videos but Im not surprised!!! Ppl out here losing their minds and acting like STI's don't exist!!!!! I'm with Kev, I'm judging!!!! I can't imagine dating now, it seems miserable and draining!!!
Not with Angel on this one. Because as she said men discount women for looks so women can discount a man for the career he choose. No one is putting them down that are simply saying they are not for them.
There is nothing wrong with practicing hypergamy. Wealthy men won’t date unattractive women and neither will men who work as bus drivers. 😂. Nothing wrong with having standards.
I don’t understand this conversation. I feel like Eboni K is entitled to say who she wants to date and the caliber of men she wants. If black men can say the don’t date black women because of this this and that, she can say she don’t want no broke bus driver. It’s just that simple.
I wish someone asked men if they were comfortable dating women who out earn them. From my experience other men talk down on men who are out earned by their wives. Then the husbands in turn seek women who they out earn so they can feel like they’re a big man. At 40 I really can’t see being with someone who is still figuring it out. We’re supposed to be having fun and enjoy he fruits of our labor.
Its women that work at fast food restaurants but refuse to date a bus driver...Nothing wrong with dating a bus driver if your in the same income bracket...but if you're an millionaire of course you want someone whos on your level..
More in-depth the delineation is between the word disease versus infection. A disease is something one has to manage like kidney disease, sickle cell, etc. An infection is where you get the medicine to cure (get rid of) the infection.
I am so happy you responded about that comment that insinuated that your friend paid for you. I saw it and thought it was the rudest comment and so offensive. 😤
Disease is managed and an infection is curable. At Planned Parenthood, we had an entire training on the difference so we could educate the community.

@Ira Sponsible Sugar addiction is real though 😅
Ong...the car Secs convo had Me CRYING😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭
Imagine all dem Starbucks baristas going to Mocha Fest thinking they're about to learn new skills...hone their craft! 😂
This episode was so funny, Y’all are Fearfully and Wonderfully made. Kev & Angel y’all good.
“ there is no amount of money that can you treat you right “
So true Kev ! That was a bar
However , class is real and some men do not feel Comfortable being with someone of a different class background .
"I'm gonna be swollen n chaffed" 😂😂😂😂
“before the sun clocked in at earth” 😂😂😂
Happy Birthday Kev, glad you enjoyed your vacation & your birthday weekend!!!
I didn't see the MochaFest videos but Im not surprised!!! Ppl out here losing their minds and acting like STI's don't exist!!!!! I'm with Kev, I'm judging!!!!
I can't imagine dating now, it seems miserable and draining!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KEV!🎂
Not with Angel on this one. Because as she said men discount women for looks so women can discount a man for the career he choose. No one is putting them down that are simply saying they are not for them.
The synchronized “NO!” had me weak 22:58
Man, y’all had me dying at my work desk. 😅😅. Trying to laugh quietly
I’m so glad I don’t mess with Twitter too tough. It’s mainly for when my mom gets mad at me for not liking her food selfies.🤷🏾♀️
✊🏾
I swear I love y'all podcast, I really get a good laugh because people be out here wildin these days 🤣🤣
I would love to see yall do travel shows!
There is nothing wrong with practicing hypergamy. Wealthy men won’t date unattractive women and neither will men who work as bus drivers. 😂. Nothing wrong with having standards.
I would have been right with Angel and the shower idea 😂😂😂
The altar was full because the balls were empty!!! 😂 I'm dead!
Anybody else thought of Tanjiro when they saw Angel's fit? No? I'm the only anime nerd? No worries that's cool 😅
I can TOTALLY see it being reminiscent of Tanjiro Kamado's fit! 🍫🤓👌🏾
Hey that makes more sense now that you mention it 😂😂😂
I had that thought too!
Guess I gotta be on the Patreon now. I was waiting for the Detroit tickets 😅
Not me trying to find the Mocha Fest videos 😅
They called in "Mocha Fest" because "badussy-con" didnt test well.
Random act of helpfulness.... amazing
Angel with the finger😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂that was hilarious
Its women that work at fast food restaurants but refuse to date a bus driver...Nothing wrong with dating a bus driver if your in the same income bracket...but if you're an millionaire of course you want someone whos on your level..
Just like Angel…when I saw that bathroom all I thought about was SECKS. 😂😂
The way Joshy is positioned on the screen, i thought they cut a part out of Angel's desk and put him under there 😂
Was hoping you guys would cover the pool party
baby yoda with the angel reese jersey 😂😂😂
"I say Jeeezuuus is excellent" done took me down 😂😂
More in-depth the delineation is between the word disease versus infection. A disease is something one has to manage like kidney disease, sickle cell, etc. An infection is where you get the medicine to cure (get rid of) the infection.
I am so excited to see Kev at the Detroit show!😁❤
40 something minutes in before I realized baby yoda had on an lsu jersey
I need Angel's outfit, immediately.
Target baby!!! Some of those collections there are 🔥 🔥🔥
@@fancyfanny6143 good to know, because yass!!
Happy Birthday Kev! I wish you great health and prosperity 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I am so happy you responded about that comment that insinuated that your friend paid for you. I saw it and thought it was the rudest comment and so offensive. 😤
“ I was taking notes “😂😂😂😂
This is why I love Wednesdays🤗🤗
So creative, what's great about the budget videos are the recipes are simple and easy. And I'm confident it's healthier than McDonald's
11:08 Angel!!!! 😂😂 , you’ve been missed! ❤
They let it down for you. 😂✌🏾
It's ok Angel. I knew exactly what you meant with the G thing. Lol
Not swollen and chaffed😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not Roman & USOS reference still 😂😂😂
Not, getting to work before the Sun gets to work, Lawd! 🤣🤣🤣
