Dreadlocks have a spiritual meaning behind it. It teaches you how to have patience with yourself for your hair. The 1st stage which is the beginning/ugly stage of the journey is the best because you can get a chance to experience the growth of your hair. In the 1st stage, we want it to grow quicker so we can have the full format of dreadlocks instead of waiting months ahead for the real results.
I find it normal for those who grew dreadlocks for years and decided to get them cut off and regrow them again.
Growing dreadlocks will make you get emotionally tired at times whenever you don't feel like getting it done by someone else or dont feel like doing it yourself. You have to maintain dreadlocks like anything else in life which is why i said dreadlocks is a spiritual lesson that comes with patience.
Most people cut their dreadlocks off because they are tired of maintaining the locks, they get judge by other people, or they get manipulated/controlled by other people with discrimination of their hair! For example, Job interviews. Your dreadlocks can not predict who you are and what you can or can not do. Hair is hair; dreadlocks is dreadlocks.
If you are on the dreadlock journey, go on the dreadlock journey for your own reasoning and purpose! Don't let anyone stop you for doing so because it can help you spiritually so you can teach others how to have patience with their dreadlocks as well.
Im on the journey as well.
      Keep it up. ✊✊✊

❣️😕 If you really need thicker locs then please take this my peace of advice ok.
🔥🤫1.... Please stop retwisting your dread locs every month to avoid soft and tinny dread locs ok
Just leave your hair for months to grow on its own even though they are still baby locs.
Don't be in a hurry it's a natural processes and it requires patience.
🤔2.... For example ..... when you retwist your hair on 1st January don't retwist it again until January ending then you wash your locs very well then you leave it to dry naturally without using any hair dryer and also don't retwist it but rather leave the hair alone to be doing its thing until February ending before you can wash it again and retwist it on 1st March and then the process continues.
That will help your scalp to be free and the hair will swell bigger and thicker and also very strong because they get much time to tangle very well when you wash it and leave for that longer period of time.
🤫3.... Keep your hands off your hair or avoid playing with your baby locs and also keep it out of sight from people because they will discourage you and also please avoid too much of products ok.
🥰4.....But I recommend you to be using ORS Olive Shampoo to wash your hair and also use ORS Lock & Gel Twist to Retwist your hair because it's very watery and it doesn't stay in the locs like other products and also be spraying your hair with Olive Oil ORS Hair Spray every three days or ones in a week which will help your scalp to grow new healthy hair quicker and and healthy and it will fight against dandruffs and hair drying.
5... Don't forget to be wearing mavin or sauce cap to cover your hair anytime that you want to go out or you want to sleep.
Wearing that mavin will help the hair to lock the tips of your baby locs very quicker and also it keeps the locs in a smooth shapes and less frizz and dark in colour.
🥰If you need more information or help you can inbox me on IG @Shun Dem All

Jesus love you, he died on the cross for you, accept him as your lord and savior he can change everything. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (Jn 3:16"

I use a little water in a spray bottle; maybe every other day and some blended oil; maybe twice a week. Not trying to have buildup or lint in my hair. I don’t go around with it covered up all the time and I’m not cutting or laying down edges. We don’t need the products truth be told. I use liquid black soap to wash it and not too often (avg. 1.5 months). I can’t be twisting and bleaching my hair expecting it to stay healthy. 🧚🏽‍♀️ Done with all that and the creamy crack...
