No one is talking about how much work goes into organizing and conducting the jatra and the hundreds of dancers and performers event like the Taumadhi Square Dance annually. For the dance everyone starts practices 25 days prior to the D-DAY. The dedication is nexttt level and so awesome. Thank you Bhaktapurians for such hard work and good vibes every year. Kathmandu is home of whole Nepal now but this video screams to the world that this was the home of Newars first. Limbuni bhaye pani i feel that emotion strongly, growing up very closely with Newars, their foods, Sukul Bhojs to the point i use to talk like 'gyeko hwo' instead of 'gayeko ho' and my younger sister still has 'tatta matta' tone :) after years of schooling in very Newari school, i ended up in majority Mongolian +2 and i was in a group Manandhars and Joshis. After decades, I make a trip to only Newari restaurant in the town i live in UK when i crave Baras.
I am also limbu, i grew up in bkt same like you, bkt ma xamyamasi vanna na aaye samma slc nai pass hudaina it's true.

This is my mamaghar jatra. I was born and growup in Bhaktapur. That's why I was skipping this jatra as we have our own. But this video make me feel bad as I haven't been there to celebrate this jatra for once till now. Hope to see this once in my lifetime.
