@valdo520 los criticals estan bien claros en el video, solo tienes que esperar que el enemigo ataque, y en el momento en que te va a tocar o herir el ataque tienes que apretar cuadrado, algunos criticals son diferentes y esto depende del ataque que estas esperando y tienen distinto tiempo. Y para los chain criticals, justo despues de hacer un critical, cuando se esta mostrando la animacion del critical, tienes que apretar nuevamente cuadrado para atacar.

(That would be the only annotation that I had put) Also this video shows what attacks from the enemies you should wait for Issen, mostly on bigger enemies. Check this video on Devilish difficulty, you will notice more differences and timing when to Issen.
i find it absolutely impossible to do even the slightest issen in onimusha 3. so i guess ill never unlock black vest. maybe its because im not good at sports, driving, music instruments, so i dont have the timing and spatial concioussness thing. i dont even want to imagine how chain issen happens. has anyone beaten this game in issen or oni modes? i only theoretically know they exist. what happens there? all enemies are imune to all attacks except issens?

I had in mind upload the ten point slash, and about strafing,mm depends of the attack, but generaly in normal mode I just wait for the issen, on Devilish I strafe more for not get hit
Eu consegui habilitar a Black Haori de Ako, e desde então saio mandando crítico em quase tudo que se move, inclusive Brainstern em sua segunda boss battle. Basicamente eu faço os lacaios aparecerem por lá, e quando desfiro Chain Critical estraçalho o subchefe em uma saraivada de críticos.
Do you use strafe option with attack, when the timing is right, or only attack button with no simultaneous strafe directions? Can you upload Ten Point Slash too, possibly with all weapons? Very good video. 5 stars
Very impressive! I love doing the block-criticals, but this is the one technique in the game that I wish I could learn; it feels too precise to me. For these are you strafing before you attack? If strafing makes the timing easier, I'd love to hear back from you. 5 Stars!
I mostly play board games nowadays, I’m hoping up to make more “how to play” videos in the future. One video game that I’m enjoying now is Crypt of the NecroDancer, really interesting mashup :)

Loved the first game. After finishing it 2 days ago i thought i try this one since i bought it when younger and never played it. I have issues with aiming in this game. Sometimes enemies i dont want to target get locked on by ako. And it switches automaticaly to another enemy when hitting targeted enemy to far away. This messes my movement up pretty bad. Despite that i like it.

Actually is the same timing as u parry an attack to do a defense issen ...Also depends on the issen, some issens u have to press attack button when u see the enemy start his attack, and other times when he is going to hit u....this also varies between difficulties, since in in hard or devilish, the timing is much more estrict... U can check my devilish version for this training, and u will notice that I was much more cautious than in this video.
Finally got through it. The first two modes are relatively easy because enemies do normal/minor damage (overall no side-stepping needed). For the last mode, with the first one I back down and timed like he did, same with the next one. With the sworders always position yourself on their rights so your timing is better (same tip with the last round), and the secondtolast round take care of tiger first (by position to its right) then the warrior.
disappointingly, this video is near-useless for determing when to move to execute an issen. All we see is it happening, with no idea of the button timing. Maybe include a note explaining when/how you did each issen. Right now, this is really just bragging, more than anything.

it's not really ako btw. She's just the pointer so you know who you're aiming at. Also, you can change your target by using the right directional.

it says strafing helps. Do you see a difference in doing it? The very few times I manage to do it, i strafe immediately before doing it.

this is the easiest game to do an issen, even easier if u play on normal difficulty or on the difficulty bellow
i just beat it, You just need to learn the patterns of the enemies.
And it's no luck, it's all about skill and patience in learning.
I don't consider waiting for enemies to stop dancing around before they finally attack you a skill.
