There's an easier way to do this.. but you need to get your "Criticals" down to a point.. each of the 3 swords that you pick up along the way as Samanousuke has a charged attack you can use (all 3 have a max of 3 charges depending on gauntlet level).. when fully charged, time the release with an enemy attack, this allows you to chain criticals to all nearby opponents.. hope that helps some people..
I can do this now. It is very difficult to execute more than a 2 hit chain in Devilish mode (as you can see from the video). This game was actually so good it made me buy oni 1 and 2.
@ivancho128 te recomiendo poner la dificultad easy o normal si es que acabas de empezar el juego, sino, te va a costar un poco mas, basicamente cada arma tiene su tiempo, entonces tu tiene que apretar cuadrado al momento que esta terminando la animacion del primer critical, más alla de eso no te puedo explicar, es practica no mas
to beat critical on any difficulty is not a easy think you have guard and atack but to the big bosses you have to doge in the perfect moment to do an critical atack if you try and you succes you will win in 3 atacks
@kupulisippi man you can do critical mode in the difficulty you want, so you can do critical mode on easy, and trust me, you just have to smash square to do criticals xD

@kupulisippi If I remember correctly, you have to beat critical mode. And for unlock critial mode, you need to beat hard difficulty

i can't find the perfect timing to do critical chain , i can do critical but chain is so difficult , any help please

Yes it counts as a critical. Only 2 and 4 doesn't count as true crit
